Anna1957, I didn't think about soaking, I'll try today

Svetlenki, about the sauces, too, today I will google - again it turned out 3 liters, it is necessary to attach, the girlfriends completely refused, the husband said that the torture with serum is a glass in two or three days maximum, with sugar and jam

And for me bread on whey is somehow not very good ... I made the penultimate almost half with water, but even then the structure turned out to be some kind of sticky and torn, the dough rose badly and I did not like the crust. Add a little more wherever it went, but no more.

Soon okroshka will go - whey can be there. But just for taste, we often make the curd sweet, from slightly sour milk. And in okroshka I would like to be sour. ((

And so yes, in my freezer since last spring, whey stocks have been wandering around.

By the way, it is good to wash your hair with serum. But in summer I have country milk and whey only in summer.

Friends, I have a question again. If not here, then tell me where to write.
Given by: Steba DD2 / XL. Today we put vegetables on the program with a closed valve.
The pressure is not gaining, it leaves through the valve. 15 minutes as it was and remains on the display.
Turned off from the socket for 15 minutes. Now, when turned on, this program always turns on and starts to warm up. Does not respond to any buttons.
It feels like it’s frozen, unplugging doesn’t help.
For repairs? Or can you do something yourself?

Anatoly, after starting the program, until it ends, Shteba reacts to only one button, the lower left - Start / Stop. If you unplug it from the socket, it does not mean a full "reset", that is, a reboot to the initial standby mode. The device has a "memory" and will continue the program from the moment at which the power supply was interrupted in case of electricity supply.
The fact that there was no pressure - I hope the valve handle was looking to the right of the cap, in the black dot position? If anything, remove and check the valve. Press down on the bottom metal part to press into the black plastic frame. Sometimes it happens that the metal core pops out a little and does not allow the valve to take the desired position in the socket.
But why doesn't the Start / Stop button respond? She and only she should cancel the action of the running program ... Something with the button? Doesn't it contact?
Try turning off the power supply not for 15 minutes, but for several hours, or even more than a day ... Maybe then the device will go into standby mode ...
If the device is new, you can contact the SC, let them check both the buttons and the valve.

WHAT are you there put? Was there liquid at the bottom? If there was very little of it, then it was not enough for a "steam blow" on the float valve. Then either add water, or actively stir the contents and quickly cover with a lid - in this case, increased vaporization almost always occurs, which is enough for the float.

But if the cartoon does not respond to the "Start / Stop" button, then this is bad, drag it to the store. ((Even a reboot (I don't remember how long the previous program is in memory, forty minutes, or something ..) is not a panacea, because the defect will come out again.

But in general, the program can turn on (start the countdown) by temperature (for example, baking bread / cakes, where there is no steam for the valve, but the countdown turns on). This means that the contents did not have time to warm up so much. So again, everything rests against the content that you did not mention.))

I put the meatballs, filled them with serum, or rather, I used it to fill them. It turned out quite tasty in meatballs with sour cream. The little dog mastered 1.5 meatballs-indicator: girl-lol: The spontaneous pouring sauce came out so-so. In principle, not bad, but before that there was a hodgepodge and sour cabbage soup, already fed up, although then you can repeat it. One joy is that most of the whey went to the 2 floors of meatballs, although 1.5 liters went into the freezer.

Alex_Fil, I mean the black valve and you need to remove it from the top of the cover?
And then I have the same problem with the old staff, which I will repair. Steam comes out of the hole to the left of the black valve.
Alex_Fil
Quote: VRad

Alex_Fil, I mean the black valve and you need to remove it from the top of the cover?
Valeria, it was the big black flap that I meant. With which we release steam forcibly. And that hole on the left is the float valve. It is an element for blocking the opening of the lid when there is overpressure in the bowl. When the water boils, steam comes out of it for a short time, then, by the excess pressure, this valve rises, the silicone washer from the bottom of the valve is pressed against the cover, steam stops coming out of the valve stem, the pressure continues to rise to the operating value, and the raised float will not open lid - there is such a "tricky" design, available in almost all pressure cookers of this type.
If steam comes out of your "float" constantly, even when it is raised - maybe there is a defect in the silicone ring? Although Shteba has it reliable, durable, slightly thicker than other manufacturers. But, check it and the float rod itself, and the place (hole) where the float itself moves. There is nothing complicated there and, by and large, there is nothing to break ...
Masha Ivanova
Alex_Fil, Alex! Much has already been written about this, but when it was needed, I cannot find it. Please tell me again, if possible. In Stebe 2xl, steam has been slowly released from the black valve during cooking during the entire duration of the program. This is after the set of pressure already. It hisses slowly and the steam is felt if you substitute your hand there. I cleaned and washed the entire valve. No result. What need to do. There is one more question, but after the first I will ask it, if possible.
Alex_Fil
Elena! If everything is in order with the mechanical part of the valve and with the stem on which the valve is fitted and there are no defects, there may be a different reason. There is a pressure sensor inside the pressure cooker that should turn off the heating element when it reaches operating pressure. If the pressure exceeds the working 0.7 b, it is possible that the black valve will undermine the steam, because, in fact, it is a weight of a certain weight that closes the hole in the stem. If the pressure rises above the rated pressure, the weight of the valve will not be sufficient to contain the steam. The steam will slightly lift the valve, escaping with a hiss.
It may happen that the pressure sensor is slightly "misaligned" - it does not work at 0.7 b, but at a slightly higher value ... You can check, without food, just with water, gaining pressure and if there is a hiss from the black valve, quickly turn it off mode with pressure and turn on the Simmering or Heating mode - on which you can observe the temperature of the sensor. Typically, a pressure of 0.7 b corresponds to a temperature of 115 degrees. If the temperature is higher, for example 119 degrees, this is already a pressure of 0.9 b.
It is difficult to judge malfunctions without seeing with my own eyes the device itself, the valve and other details of the flowing through, maybe I'm wrong, but everything is in order with your pressure sensor, maybe it's still a matter of some kind of valve defect, a scratch on the stem seat which is plugged by the valve cone ...
Check everything carefully, inspect almost under a magnifying glass the valve parts and the place where the valve sits. And, as I have already advised here, check the metal part of the valve, whether it is inserted all the way into the plastic frame with the handle. Sometimes it crawls out of the mandrel a little and this prevents the valve from taking the correct position in the seat.
VRad
Alex_Fil, can I have another question?
My old staff shut down while cooking. And that's all. The cord is fine.
What could be the breakdown options? Did the board fly?
Alex_Fil
Valeria, not the fact that the board is faulty. There are thermal fuses inside, coming from the socket where the cord is plugged, towards the power board. It turns out that it is through the fuses that 220 V power is supplied to the board. If for some reason they burned out, the pressure cooker will go out and will not turn on, of course. Somewhere or in this topic or in topic DD1, I posted pictures of the insides of the Shteba, you can see where to look for fuses ... In any case, a person with electrical repair skills should climb there, you also need a tester-multimeter to check electrical parts. ..
To begin with, we disconnect the power cord from Shteba, turn it over, unscrew the two screws on the metal plate covering the bottom of the pressure cooker, fold the plate to the side and then look ...

Here, I photographed Shteba in the place where the thermal fuses are.

Multi-cooker-pressure cooker-slow cooker Steba DD2 / DD2 XL
There are two of them, they are in white fiberglass conduits. In the gap between the blue and red wires that go from the power socket to the power board. They need to "ring" first of all, any burnout - and the pressure cooker does not turn on. Why they burned out is another question. Either due to overheating, or the part itself turned out to be defective, it just burned out without overheating - here it is already necessary to wang ...

Masha Ivanova
Alex_Fil, Alex! Thank you very much! I will "cook" the water on different programs, but I think that I just have something with a pressure sensor or something else, as I said that there is also a second question. I drew attention to the fact that recently, after the end of the program with pressure and automatic transition to heating, the display shows a temperature of about 190 degrees. Although before it was always somewhere around 106 degrees. The temperature drops rather quickly to the figures of 115-110 degrees, and then the temperature is already decreasing at the usual pace. This does not affect the quality of the cooked products, but if something is being cooked, for example, in the porridge mode, then after the temperature drops to 110 degrees, I begin to relieve the pressure forcibly, otherwise everything will be overwhelmed, the same pilaf, for example.
novogen

Wow! 190! Something unrealistic, my DD1 never showed 116 again when switching to Heating after a program with pressure. Usually in the range 109-112, sometimes less, 106 happened, but so that 190 is some kind of a hint of a problem ... Although, if it does not affect cooking, and the value quickly drops to normal 115-110, maybe this is not a malfunction, but some peculiarity of the controller firmware ... I don't even know.

Masha Ivanova
Alex_Fil, Alex! Exactly 190! I checked it several times. But until that year it worked fine. But quite recently it started. When I cook soup, sometimes I do not even look at the scoreboard at all, which shows there, there is no urgent need to play off. And then she accidentally looked and was horrified by what she saw. I tested it on several more programs with pressure, the same thing. So she sounded the alarm.

Girls,: rose: I don't remember where the recipe for soup in cans was in the fridge, I can't find something. Stebik has now cooked the soup - I poured it into clean cans beforehand with the same liquid part, as if in a circular jar, promvla-scalded it, poured the soup almost to the top, twisted it and turned it upside down. I think if I need to wrap it up, I'll probably close it.
Cool down - put it in the refrigerator Multi-cooker-pressure cooker-slow cooker Steba DD2 / DD2 XL

liusia
Marina, no need to wrap. We did everything right. Roll up, cool down and in the refrigerator. The girls write that the soup is stored in this form for a long time.

liusia, Made a flask-came out a large saucepan. I'll throw one jar into the freezer, and I'll try two in a new way. And how long will they stand without a refrigerator? I mean, until I get to my daughter with cans, I’ll put them in the refrigerator there, so that she would take to work, but they do not have a refrigerator, only a microwave. Yes, the covers are not tightened yet (for a chpok)
If it works out so well, then I will pour the soup into jars for her. Or are these closed banks in Štebik to warm up additionally?
How long should you be guided by - two weeks, a month or more?

Marina, https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=459465.0 Here is a link to the topic Freezing and storing ready meals. There the girls explain everything well. I only saved the soup once for 2 weeks and you can say in the room. But I have a hermetically sealed, screw cap.
kartinka
liusia, I have no doubt about freezing - from each cooking I will leave one or two jars and in the freezer. It is preserved perfectly, only I try to put less potatoes. But for the first time in jars and in the refrigerator
Duhka li
Marina, in my fridge the jars stand for a long time - sometimes 3-4 months. Without a refrigerator, it seems to me, they won't last long. I did not try. But I also do not sterilize properly, I am lazy. Sometimes I pour a little hot stuff into just washed jars, and nothing, costs, does not deteriorate.

Tell me there are analogues of Steba DD2 and then the third Steba DD multicooker which died? (the first died during the warranty period, thank God)
But this one worked for at least 2 years

Died at night
More precisely, I caught some mistake
Put the pork suvid

Now, when connected to the network, it immediately starts to heat up and the screen does not light up
Are there any analogues of this model in terms of functionality?

Of course, they got drunk where to go! (very tasty and it turned out! this was my dress rehearsal of the new recipe for Easter)
But the sediment remained ... In Štebik, for the first time, something did not work out as I planned ...

And then yeast dough in the air and only 115 degrees in less than an hour ?? I do not believe.))

It seems that Lena-Kubanochka at one time was having fun with Easter cakes in a similar way, but most likely it was either in the topic of the First Shteba, or in separate recipes it was necessary to look. But in principle, anything is possible, wait until despair.

I agree - festive. You can even say ritual. But then it should be accompanied by a beautiful elegant kitchen with boiling white towels (well, as I see it). And most importantly, the hostess, who has free time and has the ability to postpone all her affairs for the sake of this sacred rite. Most of us, unfortunately, cannot afford it. We often have to cook on the go. It is better to do this with a good mood and anticipation of the joy of loved ones, even in a slow cooker or some other device. Exclusively IMHO.

I think so too! Relatives want to see us cheerful and cheerful, and not tired and snarling.
Veta twig, and what is interesting in your opinion, in principle, the oven differs from the multicooker? Why is one is a holiday and the other is everyday? That one runs on electricity and the other on gas? Although now there are many electric ovens ... Then you really need to bake in a wood-burning stove, so that, like the ancestors, it was started ...

I baked cakes for many years - certainly on Thursday and kneaded the dough as expected, be sure to use my hands and all the actions as expected. In the oven (in fact, there was no alternative then). I dragged on this action long after midnight, and in the morning to run to work. The mood was upbeat and did not strain, on the contrary, it inspired. Now personally I am not capable of such feats. Either age, or laziness ... If anyone is capable - that's great! Me not. Unfortunately...

The traditional recipe for me is from the book "About tasty and healthy food". Now I choose something simpler on the site. Not because you want to try new interesting things, but precisely in order to make less effort.

Hello everyone and Happy Palm Sunday! I made melted cheese. In Shteba from cottage cheese cooked in it. It turned out very tasty, yes. It looks like "Viola". The only thing is a little bland (there is not enough glutamate) and watery (possibly due to the lack of artificial thickeners).
Cottage cheese (600 grams) was mixed in a steel bowl with a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of soda and left for a couple of hours. Then I added a piece of butter, a handful of grated hard cheese and set the simmering to 85 °. For 12 min. It began to melt almost immediately, I had only to interfere. Poured, cooled and into the refrigerator. Recommend!

I read gelatin on the label of my favorite chocolate cream cheese, I'll try to add it, maybe the consistency will get better?
