Girls, this is almost the first time I write on the forum, I just read it before, do not blame me if something goes wrong
Multibucaff: girl_red
I realized that any "stirrer" of the planetary type WITH HEATED is very convenient and it is me who quite often lacks just such (similar) device.
And since I love the technique, and various, then for other functions it is aimed at individual devices - a meat grinder separately, a kneader - I have been drooling for a long time on one of not the cheapest specialized devices; and so on, but you still have to stand over the stove with a hand mixer for, for example, choux pastry, and according to reviews, girls in such combines and jam and do a lot of other things. My family is not small, there are three children (so far), everyone loves sweets and pastries. Therefore - I want. But on reflection I realized that apart from these functions (mixing + heating) I don't really need anything extra in THIS device, but I want him to do THIS well, or better - excellent.
For a long time I smoked a forum on an issue of interest to me, catching individual reviews in the topics, but most people are interested in just the versatility I do not need and report on such machines to no less extent on the work of other attachments - a meat grinder, a blender, a Kenwood cutter, which, of course, is understandable, but to me it is useless. Therefore, I decided to make the question a separate topic, since I am tormented by a choice - what to look at.
It would seem that the conclusion suggests itself - Kenwood KM084 Cooking Chef - do not overpay for extra. nozzles included, quality (?), but - you will not find it practically in the Russian Federation, and if there is, then the price of the leftovers (in the region of 50,000 + \ -) is comparable to the order from behind the Kenwood KM086 mound, but for the same money, Of course, it is more pleasant to get more, even not very necessary, let it be. Yes, and abroad, this model is also no longer easy to find at a more favorable price (I did not find it) I began to look towards Bomann \ Klatronic, there are more reviews on them, but it is on my question (mixing-heating) that the reviews are not unambiguous - with dense masses, the temperature is overestimated, it is necessary to adapt, some write that when mixing, sometimes, but still does not mix small volumes very well - not critical, as I understood, but still noticeable. They praise the meat grinder - but I don't need it there ...
And specifically on these functions, Kenwood has practically no reviews at all, most are looking for a multifunctional in them, which is quite understandable for its price.

So I am tormented by a choice: How well does Kenwood perform these functions - honestly, if there is a noticeable difference in the quality of maintaining the temperature and mixing (I don’t compare with a professional dough mixer), then I’d better dig in and take a thing that I’ll be 100% satisfied with, without "discounts", and if there is no SPECIAL difference - then why pay more ...
Girls, help, express your opinion on this issue, naturally, the most interested in the reviews of owners of machines with such functionality, from those to whom these functions are also relevant. Thanks in advance to everyone.

If I had a sum for Kenwood, I would have taken it, although by what I read they heat up and interfere in the same way. The difference is that Boman / Klatronoik has a heating element. Kenwood has induction.

I use Kesha regularly. Very happy. However, with prolonged cooking, such as bolognese, bechamel, etc. At the bottom, the contents are still silently fried. Not critical. But there is. I have nothing to compare with. And so for me an irreplaceable assistant!

In order to talk about the differences, you must have experience with one and the other combine. But there are few, if any.
I like kenwood. Hands free. And we, moms, really need it. And I use nozzles. I like that there is a choice and there are many of them, ranging from an ice cream maker to a nozzle for cutting into cubes. Of course, I would buy a separate meat grinder, but I am very pleased with the blender.
And for me, the heating function is pleasant, of course, but not mandatory. I have 080
Li-Ona
I have been using Kenwood KM086 for the last six months and actively researching the heating function, as this is an innovation! Before that, I had a Kenwood KM010 car and all its numerous functions have already become a habit, I do not even think about what to beat and how to cut.
What can you say about the preparation - I'm 98% satisfied with it. I cook jams, soups in it, steam meat and vegetables. The whipping function at a high temperature is very handy, for example, it allows you to whip and heat egg yolks for creams or Tiramisu to 90 degrees (heat treatment is needed to protect yourself from salmanela), surprisingly, the yolks do not boil or curdle. I am also very pleased with the induction heating technology, which means that a small amount of food heats up in a matter of seconds. I use the full volume of 3 liters only for jams - it boils in about 15 minutes (depending on the intensity of mixing). 1.5 l of water + 500 g of frozen vegetables for soup - boils in 10 minutes.
Those 2% of which are not enough to a hundred are the fact that I cannot fry the meat until golden brown, for stew or chaff: the meat secretes juice that sticks to the bottom of the bowl, then it is difficult to wash it off with a sponge, but I found that very quickly with a scraper or spatula can be deleted.
In general, I am very pleased with the heating and stirring function and the ability to set the time and temperature so that nothing boils away and does not run away and burn out. The latter is especially true, in view of my "computer addiction", the kettle without a whistle burned out on the stove more than once
Bul
I completely agree! I also have Kenwood 086 and I love it! Heating is generally a miracle! I do everything on it! The bread maker is no longer used for kneading dough! When I knead the yeast dough, I also put it on heating 40 degrees! Then it lies in it while lifting! And mushroom puree soup, and what mashed potatoes are beating! In general, I recommend it to everyone!

Well, I wrote in ST that I choose exactly a heated planetary, so what you wrote about - a blender, a meat grinder, an ice cream maker - is not interesting to me in this case, like other nozzles not on the bowl. I also don’t think that there will be an owner of several similar devices at once, so I’m going to compare the reviews myself, but here I’m just trying to collect reviews on the quality of work of a particular function - in different models and manufacturers.
Yes, before I really wanted 86 ken in a complete set with all the special stages, but I came to the conclusion that I need separate devices in most cases, so I don't really want to overpay only for heating, although if "it's worth it" I will probably take it , if I see a dramatic difference in the quality of this function in Kenwood and cheap combines. So I'm trying to understand if they are - these differences, otherwise, maybe, only in Kenwood, for example, it does not burn, and so on ...

Here you go ...
I don’t have free money for cash, but I’d better dig up, but I’ll take a good thing for a long time, so I’m thinking - is it worth it?
Mirabel
anna2008, Anya, I have the same needs and requests as you. Also, absolutely not interested in all the additional devices in the form of blenders and meat grinders (well, if only she was, so okay)
I do not argue that Ken is the coolest unit, but it's also quite robust. And it is huge and loud. So why would I shell out that kind of money for him? I decided it wasn't worth it at all.
So far I stopped at Bomann-Klatronic units, but additional devices are also not needed at all. And without them there will be no heating.
So, most likely I will still focus on a simple kneader, either these or some other brand.
And for heating and stirring at the same time, I'll look at another device. Either the supovar Russell Hobbs, or some other device from the Thermomix series (you can find cheaper or similar ones)
And in monetary terms, in my opinion, it will not be very much more expensive.
While the purchase of a dough sheeter is on the agenda, and a bread maker will mix the dough for it. Well, by that time, I really hope to finally make my choice.
Li-Ona
If there is a question about purchasing kneader heated, then most likely a person is seriously keen on baking and other confectionery. Proceeding from this, we can assume that you need a device that perfectly performs kneading of all kinds of dough and whipping a variety of creams. For this, devices of the Thermomix type are not suitable due to the small volume and the lack of tools for kneading / whipping as such. There is only one option - a stationary planetary mixer, in this class there is now a sufficient variety of models and brands, from cheap plastics to super-expensive iron "tanks". If you need a good mix without frills, then you can take any planetary mixer, the quality and reliability of which satisfies you. Reliability is not unimportant here, since a batch of 1-2 kg of hard dough for pasta or dumplings is a big load, not everyone can do it.
For example, I have been using an inexpensive Kenwood Prospero model for 3 years, it chicly beat the dough for biscuits and was fine with me. But there always comes a time when you want to do something more: to master new "complex" recipes. And then the question of heating arises! For example, many types of dough or creams, frostings, etc., require cooking in a water bath with constant stirring, or even whipping. Of course, nothing is impossible for hardworking housewives, and they can stand over the stove with a water bath and whip up custard. Such patient and motivated people deserve respect. Unfortunately, I do not possess such endurance, so I either do not do what I do not like, or I find a solution to the problem. For me, Kenwood KM086 became such a decision.

I wish everyone to find "their one" who will be the perfect partner for you in the kitchen.
Mirabel
Li-Ona, Do you have Prospero Ken? Did you make cool dough on it?
Think Thermomix won't make custard? In skillful hands, he will knead the dough for noodles (I exaggerate)
I myself am not one of those, but the girls on the Profiquk blender manage to do the impossible.
Masinen
Vika, thermomix and knead the dough, and beat the whites into a firm foam, eggs onto a biscuit. Make choux pastry. Well, he will do everything. Just limited in volume))
I can compare Kesha 086 and Thermomix, maybe I have them)
I use TM for small volumes. By the way, the dough for Tm noodles will perfectly knead, I do it in it.
I didn't have Kesha before and I did everything in TMchik.
Therefore, I bought Kenwood without heating, but it turned out to be small for me, 560 model.
And the Big Keshka with induction accidentally turned up, and so it was not in the plans at all, but I am very pleased with it, well, very much !!
And in Europe there is a new model 040 Keshka, it comes with a timer, but without heating.
Li-Ona
Mirabel, yes, I had Prospero about 3 years ago, I kneaded the dough, including tight, but to be honest, I always felt sorry for him when he did it, he pushed so hard. Although he still works properly for my mother. That is, it cannot be said that these were overloads for him, just such a subjective feeling.
Prospero is quite expensive for a planetary mixer due to the fact that it comes with attachments: a blender, a food processor (I actively used them), a juicer, and in new models there is also a mini chopper. If you do not need additional. nozzles and their functions, but only a high-quality kneading is needed, then I would advise you to take a Kenwood stationary mixer of the kMix series, it is about the same price as Prospero, but there are usually only 4 nozzles for the dough in the kit (sometimes it also happens with a meat grinder). It is metallic and in beautiful colors, and this year also models with a transparent glass bowl appeared in general chic. It is good as a planetary mixer, since this is its main purpose, it can of course be supplemented with some attachments such as dough rolling, noodle cutters, a press for berries and a meat grinder, but this is optional.
Mirabel
Masinen, Masha, thanks for the review and comparison!
Li-Ona, I found Prospero only with a blender-chopper and a juicer for cirrus fruits and the cost is very small, 130-140 euros
I went to watch KMix
Li-Ona
140 euros is really a small price, in Ukraine it is at least 300 dollars, and when fully loaded it is almost 500 dollars, kMix is also about 500 dollars.

By the way, if it is written that the kit includes a citrus juicer, then there must be a food processor with a chopper knife and disks for a grater / shredder, because the citrus press is a part of the food processor attachment and it cannot be separate.
Rita
Mirabel, I have a k-mix. He is, of course, good, powerful. Whisk the whites until they become foam. But! Like all Kenwood technology, it is very noisy. Now I would take Kitchen Aid. It works more quietly. I bought graters and a meat grinder for him. There are no complaints about the meat grinder. I didn't like the grater. She either rubs very coarsely or very finely. There are such holes in the puree grater that the product falls through. As a result, puree with chunks.
Mirabel
Rita, Here the noise confuses a little, on the other hand, this is not a refrigerator or even a washing machine. How much will he make noise, 15 minutes?
The dimensions and weight are also strained.
I rush between 4 kneaders - Kenwood Prospero, Bosch (additional graters only), Moulinex (naked), the last 2 most of all attract with weight and size, but alarming with their low power.
Bomann-Klatronic (naked). Budgetary and questionable options.
Li-Ona, Yes, yes, the food processor is there, I did not pay attention to the graters.

Rita
Mirabel, I had a prospero. And now I know that when such a machine is lightweight, it bounces on the table, sways and causes fear when kneading a tough dough. A heavy machine does this thoroughly without strained wheezing and unnecessary body movements.
Why does the weight bother you? He needs to find a permanent place where he will stand and decorate the kitchen interior :).
Masinen
Vika, we sell many of them, these are proper.
Better look at their KMx series or KM series.
Mirabel
Rita, so the problem is that I don't have such a place. Sorry...
All my kitchens. toys are on the rack (thanks to Tanyula for the idea!), and there is a lot of free space on the wall cabinets. It is clear that the kneader will not go there to live. but on the rack there is a place for it
So Pospero has little weight or what? And is he jumping?
Masinen, Mash, Why are you against Prospero?
Does your Boshik also jump when kneading dough? I'm looking at another Bosch with a metallic bowl and a slightly higher power. Such a handsome man. That's more than the Kens I like them.
Masinen
No, Boshik does not jump, although it is light)
Yes, I do not mind, I just look at the ads and many are selling. So I half-thought, maybe he’s wrong.
Mirabel
MariaYes, you periodically praise your Bosch, which means he copes with his tasks, despite his weight and power.
And I agree, since many people sell, it means that I don't like something. Amazon says that a lot of plastic parts.
Masinen
Vika, my Bosch is also made of plastic, but for some reason I like it. I can't say about him that he is bad. It's a budget and a good option)
And even more so he stood in Spar in St. Pelton (Austria) and waited for me for a whole month !!
I couldn't even sell it, my hand didn't go up))
In short, I love him))
Li-Ona
Prospero also did not jump, he is also not very heavy, but in this article it is written that Kitchenade also jumps and also scratches the table 🔗

Size is a relative matter: they all do not differ significantly in base area. Kenwood machines "grow" in height, but the footprint remains +/- 10%
I also have a very small working surface in the kitchen, about 1m by 40 cm, but I don't remove the car from the table, but only move it: the working position is parallel to the table, and when the machine is not needed, I put it on the edge perpendicularly because it is less than 20 in thickness cm.
Here, see the photo for comparison, I put a sheet of A4 paper and a plastic card to represent the proportions. It seems to me that a place can always be found even in the smallest kitchen.

Combine (kneader?) With heating - Kenwood, Clatronic, Bomann - which one?

Mirabel
Li-Ona, My kitchen is not very small and you can definitely find a place. I'm not even a size. and the weight is more worried about not to earn a hernia, dragging from place to place.
Thank you in the photo!
This is such a Propospero that attracted my attention
🔗
And at the bottom of the link there is still a lot of different modifications, but with additional attachments.
MasinenMasha, there are a lot of plastic equipment now, I don't pay much attention to this.
Li-Ona
Mirabel, something your link does not open for me, most likely this offer does not apply to all regions and is displayed.
A new series will soon appear to replace Prospero, but so far there is only in Germany 🔗

In Europe there is another type of planetary mixers from Kenwood, we do not sell it, but once upon a time one person highly recommended it to me, he had a small pastry shop and he made all the dough and creams on this planetary mixer, an inexpensive device, and coped with small industrial volumes. But this is a pure mixer, no extras. accessories 🔗
Rita
Li-Ona, I also first looked at this planetary mixer - patissier from Kenwood, but I was led to add. nozzles. And in vain, because I use it mainly as a mixer.
Mirabel
Girls! This is the kind of Prospero I want

🔗
Check it out! How is he? The package contains only a blender with knives and a citrus juicer, which suits me perfectly. And the price is affordable.
Saw today in the store, quite cute. Of course, they didn't give it a good look. I really liked it since the summer. I look forward to your advice.
Li-Ona
Belenky
Yes, quite a functional set: to cope with basic needs, as they say for every day.
Kneading and whipping everything in a row; blender for smoothies, cream soup or sauce; food processor for slicing salads or chopping; there is no meat grinder in the kit, but you can use a food processor to grind meat (the texture of minced meat is of course a little different, but it often suits me, especially if I have little meat, for example a pound, then it makes no sense to smudge the meat grinder, I grind it in the food processor).
Mirabel
Li-OnaDo you approve of the choice?
You can also choose metallic, I have a meat grinder separately, and in my opinion, there is no blender for smoothies and so on (I don't need it either) ... only a blender-chopper, which I really need.
Kestrel
Mirabel, Are you sure that you need Prospero, there is no heating there ...
Mirabel
AnnaI apologize for stepping back from the topic. Dough mixers with heating are discussed here, and they are weighed down by a large number of additional attachments, in which I am not at all interested. Therefore, in the selection process.
Kestrel
Mirabel, there is a big topic on the Kenwoods, namely on the use of nozzles:
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=121798.0
I just think, maybe I missed what and didn't understand, but there is heating ... I looked - I don't have one according to the description, I decided to ask. It's probably better to discuss in a specialized topic, because I know from myself when you find a narrow-profile topic on a question of interest - "hurray - many pages !!! ", and there are 2 \ 3 off ... it's a shame ...
Cat
anna2008, Hello. I read your searches in 2014. I really liked your approach to choosing a heated combine. We also have three kids and I want to buy a similar thing to help my wonderful Cat - who is watching us all.If it does not bother you, tell us how the search ended? If you share your invaluable experience, you will save a lot of time and nerves for good people. Thanks in advance, Dmitry.
Kestrel
Dmitry, while I can only disappoint you, did not buy, the crisis overtook us (coinciding with the birth of the fourth kinder), and the purchase was postponed indefinitely. But preliminarily, already based on the current experience, for myself I decided not to experiment with brands, mmmm ... how to say ... that have less history, experience and reputation in the home appliance market, since in the end the purchase is still not cheap. In general preferred to WANT Kenwood with induction. Since all devices have to be adapted, but, as I understood from the reviews, this, as I understood from the reviews, goes to devices from the top line of brands with much less sacrifice and greater convenience. Something like that.
Cat
Anna, thank you very much for confirming the thoughts that led to the correct decision. We bought the same Kenwood 080. This is a piece of solid metal (this is for me). Very clever (this is for the Cat). They laughed for a long time looking at their reflection in the pan (these are kittens). The holding time is two days. So far, we have made a dough for khinkali (kneaded and rolled out). No one has any complaints.
