Strawberry puree pie

Ingredients

Any shortbread dough
Frozen strawberries 200-300 gr
sugar 150 gr (approx)
almond flakes not necessary
starch 1 tbsp. l. (no top)

Cooking method

  • This is not even a recipe, but rather an idea. It turned out by chance, but it turned out very tasty. In the summer, when I freeze strawberries for ice cream, I immediately blend it with sugar, pack it in portions in bags. Very comfortably. And then it turned out that the ice cream bowl was not ready, and the strawberries were already thawed. Since a piece of shortcrust pastry dangled in the refrigerator, I decided to bake a pie. I rolled it out thinly, mixed the strawberry puree with starch in a bowl (if the strawberries are frozen whole, then they need to be mashed with sugar). Put the puree on the dough, sprinkle with almond flakes. Baked in the oven at 180 degrees for about half an hour. It turned out very tasty !!! I think you can do the same with any frozen berries. It's time to gradually unload the freezer)

5 minutes + 30 minutes baking
