Cooking method

  • This dish is a frequent guest on our table in different variations. (Well, we love Asian cuisine ....). A quick and easy dish for Chinese food lovers. Even rather not a recipe, but a cooking technology, because cooking is a creative process. And you can adjust the thickness of the sauce as well as its sharpness to your liking.
  • Meat can be anything. I successfully make it from beef, horse meat and chicken. In the case of chicken, it is better to take not white meat (breasts), but wings or thighs, so that it is more juicy and you can not separate it from the bones, just cut it smaller.
  • Cut the meat into small strips. Pour vegetable oil into a multicooker saucepan. We put the meat. We turn on the "Baking" mode. The time is automatically set to 40 minutes. We clean and cut onions and bell peppers. Cut the onion into half rings, pepper into strips. After about 10-15 minutes from the start of cooking, pour pepper and onion into the multicooker. During the preparation process, we periodically check the dish and stir it as needed. If there is Sichuan pepper in the house (well, what if!) It's time to throw a pinch into the slow cooker.
  • Cooking a spicy sauce. We clean the ginger root, three on a fine grater. We clean the garlic, finely chop. Dry red hot pepper (peel the 3 cm long pod of seeds and break it into small pieces). Pour soy sauce into an empty glass, add sugar, starch, cold water. Mix well. Initially, you can pour less water. It is never too late to make the sauce thinner by simply adding water to the multicooker. 10 minutes before the end of cooking, we send garlic, red pepper and ginger to the multicooker. We mix. If it seems very dry, you can add some water. After 5 minutes, i.e. 5 minutes before the end of the program, pour in the sauce, stir so that the starch is brewed evenly. We immediately adjust the thickness of the sauce. Add the spice "Five Spices" (well, suddenly it is lying around at your house), close the lid and wait for the end of the program.
