Yeast dough "Fast" (lean)

Ingredients

Wheat flour
(here is a problem:

Fresh yeast

Cooking method

  • Pour water heated to 30 degrees in a bowl, add sugar, yeast and 6 tbsp. tablespoons of flour and mix thoroughly. Leave for 15 minutes, then pour in the sunflower oil, add salt and the remaining flour. Knead for 2 minutes, after which you can start baking pies or small pies.

Note

The dough is especially good for fasting. Because it does not contain animal products, and it can be made really very quickly. I will give the layout as in my recipe, but I myself usually make 1/2 serving. It turns out quite a lot.
In general, the dough turns out to be quite versatile.

Viennese buns

Prepare yeast dough. (I just do this "quick": the whole process, along with modeling and baking, takes about 40 minutes.)
Roll out the dough into a thin layer and brush it with vegetable oil and sprinkle with sugar. Fold in half, roll with a rolling pin, again spread with vegetable oil and sprinkle with sugar, roll out and repeat 4 times. Leave the dough, covering it with a napkin, for 20 minutes.
Roll out a layer 1.5 cm thick, cut with a sharp knife, trying not to disturb the layered structure, into strips 15 cm long and 1.5 cm wide.Twist 2 pieces with a string or weave a pigtail of 3. I usually take a long strip, fold it in half and twist the ends together, leaving the ends. It turns out such a twisted bow.
Bake on a baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 25 minutes.

Sprinkle cooled buns with icing sugar and serve with tea.

These buns:
a) look beautiful;
