Ingredients

Meatballs:
minced meat 500 gr.
milk 100 g
loaf slices without crusts 4 things.
dried mint 1 tbsp. l.
olive oil 5 tbsp. l. + for frying
dried oregano 2 tbsp. l.
cinnamon 1/4 tsp
nutmeg 1/4 tsp
Cayenne pepper 1/8 tsp
bulb 1 PC.
egg + yolk 1 PC.
flour for crumbling
salt taste
pepper taste
salsa domata sauce:
garlic 4 cloves
tomato paste 1.5 tbsp. l.
Bay leaf 2 pcs.
tomatoes (I have canned) 300 gr.
lemon juice 1 tbsp. l.
parsley 2 tbsp. l. for decoration
beef broth (I have water) 100 g

Cooking method

  • Cooking meatballs:

  • 2. Mix mint, 2 tablespoons oil, 1 tablespoon oregano, 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, cayenne pepper, onion and eggs in a bowl; Salt, pepper.Greek Meatballs with Salsa Domata Sauce (Keftedes Me Saltsa Domata)

  • 5. Dip the meatballs in the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve sprinkled with chopped parsley.
