Honey Lemon Cake (Steba DD1)

Ingredients

flour 225 g
baking soda 1h l.
salt pinch
spice mixture for gingerbread 1 tsp
honey 200 g
butter 50 g
eggs 2 pcs
milk 2 tbsp. l.
juice and zest of one lemon or lime
for syrup:
honey 4 tbsp. l.
water 2 tbsp. l.
zest of one lemon

Cooking method

  • 1. Sift flour with baking soda, add spices and salt. I take a mixture of spices (2 teaspoons each of ground ginger, cinnamon and vanilla sugar, the rest of the spices 1 teaspoon each - nutmeg, ground cloves, ground cardamom, a mixture of peppers) I take as much as necessary, I store the rest for future use.
  • 2. In a water bath, melt the honey with butter, zest and lemon or lime juice, stirring until smooth.
  • 3. Make a depression in the center of the flour slide and pour the honey-oil mixture in a thin stream, stir well. I kneaded in a food processor.
  • 4. Beat eggs with milk, pour in small portions into the dough, stirring the mass.
  • 5. Pour the dough into a Teflon bowl, set the PURPOSE mode to a pressure of 0.3, set the lid obliquely and bake for 60 minutes.
  • 6. Put the finished dough on the wire rack for 5 minutes and heat all the ingredients for the syrup. Chop the cake over the entire surface and pour over the syrup. Leave to cool completely!

Maybe for some kind of super-duper complex baking it matters, but I try not to cook that.
When I bought a bread maker, at first I sifted flour. Then the Ikeevskaya sifter fell apart and I stopped sifting. I did not notice the difference in the result
