Wheat flour 2 tbsp. l. with top
Starch 1 tsp
Sugar 2 tbsp. l. (less possible)
Serum 150 ml
Butter, soft 1 tbsp. l. (less possible)

Cooking method

  • I was asked about the recipe for curd thin waffles. I still couldn’t reach them, but then I urgently needed to save this one spoonful of cottage cheese, so I adapted it for waffles. I just forgot that the cottage cheese was with honey ... but more on that later ...
  • So, we knead the dough by combining all the ingredients. I have starch for more than 1 hour. l. it turned out, I would have added for greater crunchiness, but it turned out quite crumbly. The cottage cheese was goat cheese, fatty, so in my case, the tablespoons of butter turned out to be too much ... in general, you need to look at the fat content of the cottage cheese, you can reduce the oil. And now about sugar ... I put, as usual, I put in waffles, 2 tbsp. l. sugar, and I have them on normal mode (1 with a small) of my Cloer waffle iron for thin waffles burned out. I reduced it to one, again the waffle burned out. Reduced to a minimum - came out rosy. In general, I tried to take out the waffles a little earlier than the green light came on (this is where you develop a sense of time).

  • The waffles are very elastic (while they are warm, of course), you can "mold" any shape. I rolled tightly (which is why I lacked a little crunch) into rolls.

KatRin, I'm glad that I liked the waffles. And I always adjust the liquid depending on how thin the waffles I want to get. If you had it too liquid, then it was due to flour (flour such as makfa needs to be added a little more).I mainly use first grade flour.

Flour I have exactly 4 dimensional tablespoons... It was less, and when the waffle iron was closed, the dough just shot out, already flowed along the edges. Naturally, there was almost nothing left inside, I added flour.
Oil was enough for half a tablespoon. I have 1 tbsp. l, you can see overkill.
I tried it on plain flour and bread, I did not feel the difference in taste
