Ingredients

Leg of a kid or other meat (pork, veal, lamb) 1.5KG
Honey 2 tbsp. l.
Soy sauce 2 tbsp. l.
Dried rosemary pinch
Potatoes for garnish 1-1.5 kg

Cooking method

  • Salt the leg, sprinkle generously with rosemary.
  • Goat leg with rosemary and honey
  • Put on high mode. Cook for 1 hour without opening the lid.
  • Then, melt the honey sauce in the microwave and add the soy sauce to it. And water the leg every half hour. Cook for 4 hours.

  • I don’t know what took it into my head to use honey, I’ve already used it with duck, but other meat seemed to me not very suitable.
  • But the result exceeded all my expectations. This is the third leg that I cook. But this recipe is the best for my taste. I will classify this dish as my signature dish. My husband, when he tried it, was just numb.

In a slow cooker, I learned to use spices that enhance the look of the finished turmeric product.
Here the soy sauce changes color a little.

And if you look closely, then near the contact of meat with ceramics in some places the meat is even fried.
This is because I do not add a single gram of water, everything is prepared only in my own juice.

I never used it either, I just chose a simple one, no aromas. Classical. The label says "top quality soy sauce"
