but my blender failed. If I take poppy seeds, then I cook 1-2 kg at once, grind, fill and freeze. But then the finished filling. So, I take out the meat grinder once for 5-10 rolls.

tell us in detail how you freeze it and how you prepare the filling, I also really like freezing everything in reserve))))

And I'm wondering about the degree of grinding with a mill attachment
I used to use a blender leg, grinds great

if there is a photo of the filling I will be grateful and with what device they have achieved such a result.

I ordered a mill for myself, I will definitely show what happened))))

Nagira, and what kind of poppy are you grinding dry or steamed. And at what point (the smallest, in the sense of the size of the grind)?

valuhka, natalisha_31, Freesia if not too late I will answer:
I buy poppy seeds both by weight and in bags, but I don't think that someone there makes unnecessary movements and sells us pure poppy seeds ... so I always wash and dry them on baking sheets, but not in the oven - our apartment is dry enough.
I do not steam it for the same reason that I do not dry it in the oven - I save the aroma. Yes, and steamed for juiciness, and after grinding, the poppy will not be dry and free-flowing anyway.

Grinding is the finest

Irina, thank you. finally found a use for this attachment. Although it goes like a coffee grinder, I do not grind coffee in such volumes to get a meat grinder.

and this 4800, for the sake of one poppy, I'll buy it, I'm still manual)))))
ma-ri-nawhy manual only for one poppy? And seeds, nuts, sesame seeds, maybe even spices (and cereals)? - grind either together, or whatever you prefer (this is for baking, baked fruits), and if you add greenery, it is a delicious and healthy dressing for any salad.
I won't say anything about the poppy at the exit - I haven't even tried it (not my product), but maybe closer to the holidays I'll try to wind it on a roll ..

Please tell us in detail, the poppy grunted with a bang, and what else are you doing in it ?!))))

If you ask me, then I wrote above
seeds, nuts, sesame seeds, you can even spices (and cereals)
- grind each type of pome fruit separately (you can either raw or lightly fried) or together, or whatever you prefer (this is for baked goods, baked fruits), and if you also add green stuff = a delicious and healthy dressing for any salad. I try to scroll through myself a portion at a time - 2 tbsp. l. enough for a day to eat, so this size of the mill suits me very much. And for baking I'm already winding up more. By the way, if you have this mother-of-pearl mill, you need to rinse it only the first time you use it, and only wipe it thoroughly after work.

I'm wondering about salad dressing ...

In the seed-nut mass: sunflower, sesame, walnuts or hazelnuts or cashews (they are relatively finely chopped before grinding), add lemon (orange) juice, a little honey + favorite spices (if to baked fruits, cottage cheese casserole, porridge, then I also add grated ginger and a drop of ground cloves). Mix all components lightly (if the mass is thick, add juice) and. And if you add a little cottage cheese or mascarpone to this dressing and fill half an avocado ...!

the questioning of poppy filling worried until I bought a mill attachment for my kitchen. harvester Kenwood 560.

It was a long time ago, but I'll try to ask.

Nagira, have you often made poppy with a mill?
How is the mill with time? Still, the instructions do not recommend grinding oil-containing ones. I'm afraid.

Thank you.

I bought a Jupiter 562 (by chance, I actually wanted a teskoma poppy machine)
The melet is perfect, it will not miss a single grain, almost like fine homogeneous fine air sand, I tried dry poppy and sesame seeds. One drawback: very slowly, meditatively, but annoying))

The unit is interesting, but an electric coffee grinder suits me perfectly for grinding poppy - everything perfectly makes its way into a loose air mass in half a minute. Up to 70 g of poppy seeds in one go.
