Ingredients

butter 125g.
cane sugar 75g.
maple syrup 60 ml.
eggs 2 pcs.
flour 125g.
baking powder 1 / 3h. l.
pecans (I have walnuts) 75g.

chocolate 125g.
maple syrup 20 ml.
butter 50g.
walnut for decoration

Cooking method

  • Stir the melted butter, sugar, maple syrup, eggs, flour, baking powder with a mixer for a minute, until the mixture is smooth.

Natasha, I don't know what it would be like with real maple syrup, after all, I myself baked these cakes for the first time, and apparently influenced the taste, because besides the nutty one, you can also feel the taste of syrup and cane sugar.
