Boiled-smoked chicken

Cooked-smoked chicken (MV Brand 37501)

Ingredients

a hen 1200 g - 1300g
salt 1 tbsp. l.
sugar 1 tsp
black pepper 1 tsp
garlic 3 teeth
turmeric, ground paprika by a pinch
liquid smoke 1.5 tbsp. l.
baking bag (or sleeve) 1 PC.

Cooking method

  • Prepare the chicken (wash, dry, cut into pieces). Chop the garlic, add the spices and rub the pieces with this mixture. Add liquid smoke.
  • Place everything in a baking bag, squeeze air out of it, tie the ends tightly (if a piece of a sleeve, then in two places).
  • Leave to marinate in a cool place for several hours, or in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Pour 5 multi-cups of water into a multicooker pan, put a double boiler (preferably an internal one), put a bag of chicken on a double boiler. Close the lid of the multicooker.

  • Cook on Steam (Steam) for 1 hour. Leave on heating for 30 minutes.
  • Then take out the bag, take out the chicken pieces, cool them.

Cooking program:

Steam 1 hour + Heat 30 minutes

The result is a delicious chicken with a smoked aroma. Liquid smoke is not the healthiest food, but this chicken is not for everyday use either. Yes, and in store smoked meats they use this very liquid smoke.

I liked very much that when cooking in this way, there is practically no smell of smoke, all smells remain in the bag. And the multicooker after cooking does not require any special washing and boiling.

Chicken can be used in salads, or just like us with a glass of beer.

So then every day I washed the marinator with all sorts of things. The plastic sucked in the smoke smell very firmly! Now, however, everything is normal. In Panasonic, there is not so much space in a hinged double boiler, the bag swells during cooking, I read that there were cases as many as the lid in the multicooker was torn off. True, they say you can make holes in the bag, but for me this is not so good (the juice will flow out, the smell in the multicooker).

Better on a low grate.

I think that frying will be superfluous, it is better to try putting it under the microwave or oven grill.

Although, if the chicken cools down, then it will harden without further processing.
