Ingredients

Lamb shoulder 1 PC.
Potato 2-3 per serving
Garlic 2-3 cloves
Chilli ¼ pod
Black pepper (peas) 1 tbsp. l.
Cinnamon 1 stick
Coarse salt taste
Olive oil for lubrication

Cooking method

  • Remove the outer films from the spatula.
  • Cut the garlic and chili into strips.
  • Pierce the meat with the edge of a knife and stuff it with garlic and chili.
  • Grind in a mortar or coarsely grind black pepper.

Note

Serve with Narsharab pomegranate sauce and tomatoes, lightly sprinkled with coarse salt.

Narsharab can be easily made at home by boiling pomegranate juice over low heat for an hour (simmer until thickened, stirring), at the end you can pepper with black pepper.
