  • fresh cilantro - 2-3 tbsp. l.
  • garlic - 1 clove

  • Preparation

  • sauce:
  • Pour butter and sour milk into a glass for beating.
  • Coarsely chop vegetables and herbs, add to a glass and break with a knife to beat.
  • Taste, add salt, beat quickly again. The sauce is ready!

In principle, other vegetables can be used for this salad. All the beauty and taste in the sauce!

I make the "Salad dzaziki" sauce based on a salad / salad dressing based on Greek motives. In the Greek version, vegetables are cut into pieces, and the salad itself is of a thick consistency, for which thick sour cream or thick yogurt is taken.

In my version, it is a salad dressing based on homemade sour yogurt, which gives the dressing a refreshing taste.

The combination of a large amount of cilantro, basil does not interfere with each other at all. At first I wondered if it was worth adding cilantro (which I hate!) To the sauce, maybe it was worth adding parsley and dill. But, having tasted the taste of the ready-made sauce, she praised herself - the taste is very pleasant!

The sauce was prepared with a lot of curdled milk, especially as a salad dressing. But, if you take less curdled milk, at least half, you will get an excellent sauce for meat dishes, fresh boiled chicken, pork.
