Miranda
Well, I'm reporting about a sausage syringe.
Sausage syringe
I thought for a long time which one to buy, in terms of size.
They were worth at Ali-sale like this:
1 lbs / 0.5kg - 23.12
2 lbs / 1kg - 23.92
3 lbs / 1.5kg - 31.92
5 lbs / 2.5kg - 39.92

That is, between 0.5kg and 1kg. consider that there was no difference in price. But all four sizes were interesting and beckoning to me. And there are many different reviews about this particular type of horizontal syringes, the reviews are different, from delight to buy another type. But since it is huge, that is horizontal, that is vertical, weighing 10-12 kg. I was not going to buy from the word at all, but I was tired at the meat grinder, I was considering this particular format. But I still doubted whether it was necessary, whether it was good. For about six months or more, I wandered around, looked at different reviews, did not dare.

Probably because of this, and also because I make 1-1.2 kg at a time, maximum 1.5 kg, and also because it is red and with a nozzle for cookies, which I make almost every week in a meat grinder, I bought a small ... There were also reviews about Biovinovskiy for 1.5kg. from people who make 10 kilograms at a time, they say, it is not difficult to recharge 3-5 times.

Delivery was super fast, everything arrived fine. The box was a little crumpled, but the whole thing. Unpacked, washed. The blank was made in advance for Teskomovskaya ham maker, I wanted to try today without a spring as Ksyushk @ -Plushk @ does. But I decided to test the syringe.

Looking ahead, I will say - three times, if not four times faster than a meat grinder! And a hundred times easier!

She did not have time to blink an eye, and half of the portion was already in the shell.
Attaches to a smooth surface, so I had to bare the table. Fastens well, there is such a lever that presses.

Sausage syringe

Here I reload for the second portion. the first was hammered in a matter of minutes, sooo quickly. My syringe fits about 480 grams. That is, this syringe is suitable for those who do a little. But also recharge for three minutes. All the same, even with reloading it is faster than a meat grinder, especially on boiled sausages, since the emulsion climbs up the pusher, etc., pushing its torment.

Sausage syringe
From the reviews, I knew that it is better to fill in this way - take the piston deep into, and hammer from the side of the tarsus, then put on the tarsus. Then there will definitely be no air. To hammer when, then trample so that there is no air.

Of course, whatever the syringe is, healthy, small, vertical or horizontal, or stuffed with a meat grinder - meat always remains in the tarsus.

Sausage syringe
Here is the first portion, now I will score the second. But, by the way, the first portion is about the same amount of shell that can be pulled over the tarsus. That is, even if the syringe is large, the tarsus are the same in size, and it will not work to pull 5-6 meters onto the tarsus, a maximum of 1.5. Although, I saw extra. the tarsus are long, about 25 centimeters, there, probably, you can stretch a lot. There are tarsus of different diameters, and the length of one is 10cm.

Sausage syringe

Yes, by the way, I knew from the reviews that syringes have a small gap between the piston and the walls, not all syringe models have a silicone rim around the piston. He's not here. It was advised to seal with a bag or cut out of something. I sealed with a bag + hygiene. And in the photo there are already two servings.

Sausage syringe

The third part I decided to do in a sausage casing. Quickly changed the tarsus and refilled the rest. Here are all of the 1,250 kg. blanks. By time - if you then wash all the dishes without washing, and the hammering itself, cut off the shell, pull it on the stump and recharge - it took about 15 minutes. Now I will add and cook. I'll try the cookies on the weekend.

Sausage syringe
RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS

I really liked the syringe. It's fast, convenient, easy. Even so, it's incredibly easy and fast! I agree with the reviews that even the worst syringe will be better than a meat grinder. And this syringe is not bad.

That's just about the size, I have not finally decided. Recharging is really easy, but it is also more convenient when the size is immediately large. It took me 3 minutes to recharge. + -.

I am a beginner sausage maker, but my appetite comes with eating, I think over time I will make many different sausages, and therefore, after a while I will bribe another 2.5 kg syringe, and this one I will leave for small portions and cookies ... Moreover, another 2.5 kg appeared in that store, which was not on March 29 - made of stainless steel, and not aluminum alloy like these four models.

But I have not yet figured out what to do with the remains in the tarsus. You can have a cutlet, you can have a meatball, you can add a finger if the shell remains.

Well, you need to bribe different shells and master different recipes

PS by size.
The length of the tube without pieces screwed on both sides is 20.2 cm., Diameter 5.8 cm, length of the stump 10 cm., Diameters of three strings - 15 mm, 19 mm, 22 mm. I assumed that the tarsus from the meat grinder would be suitable, but their diameter is slightly larger, somewhere by 1.5 mm + -. The meat grinder cookie attachment did not fit for the same reason. I have one extra tarsus, I want to file it down.

Well, I'm reporting about a sausage syringe. Since this is not a completely thematic subject, but there is no separate topic, and I promised, then here, but I will remove everything under the spoiler.
Miranda, a very interesting and sensible report.
I think that it will pull on a separate topic. So we are waiting for further observations and reports.
Miranda
Anchic, kolobashka, Irina F, Thank you

On a new one here -

But more expensive, although the seller has coupons, you can reduce the price a bit.

I've been collecting coins in the application, exchanging them for an Ali-coupon and a seller-coupon, and suddenly, while I'm waiting, there will still be some kind of sale. That is, I'm not in a hurry, I really liked this one too, but my family approved the purchase for 2.5 kg. They said - a good thing, you can also a second

Olga VB, on the topic - maybe, especially if someone has big ones, like this

Sausage syringe

But I'm afraid the recipes and discussion of shells will slide
After all, the device is primitive - put the meat, twisted the handle, it clogs sooo quickly, because it is pushed out in a straight line and that's it.
Olga VB
Recipes and shells are important too!
So with a new theme!
Miranda
Olga VB, thank you!

Then I'll transfer their kitchens here. little things that she wrote when she shared a link with a sale. True, without mentioning the sale, since those prices are not relevant now. Now it turns out more expensive.

***

I wanted a sausage syringe on Ali, and because of the sale I decided to buy it.

The syringe is small (so maybe a trifle), like the popular Biowin. It is only called vanessa sausage maker and there are four sizes - 0.5kg, 1kg, 1.5kg (this is the same size as biovinovsky) and 2.5kg (this one with additional mount, like Blaumann or Italian Frosty)

Here is the syringe shop -

(there, if you wander through the sections, there is also a separate section with spare steel and long tarsus). Having already received the parcel and having read the reviews on the seller's page, I can say that he sends it by fast delivery, everything is honest and decent.

There is: 1 lbs / 0.5kg (mine is); 2 lbs / 1kg; 3 lbs / 1.5kg; and 5 lbs / 2.5kg. And a new one appeared at 2.5kg. but made of stainless steel.
Still horizontal, but large, at 8lbs / 4kg.
Two vertical: at 5lbs / 2.5kg, at 6lbs / 3kg

I googled a lot about sausage syringes, such horizontal ones are suitable for those who periodically make for themselves and do not want to buy a big bandura for 8-15-20 thousand. But at the same time, the sausages / wieners and other boiled sausages, that is, the emulsion, must be shoved through a meat grinder, because it climbs past the pusher, stuffed with air, etc.

And I also asked the seller for diameters.
He sent me such a picture about diameters.

Sausage syringe

And in size I googled this vanessa myself
2 lbs / 1kg - 7.8 x 21.2 cm
3 lbs / 1,5kg - 9 x 24 cm
5 lbs / 2.5kg - 10.7 x 28.6 cm

Mine 1 lbs / 0.5 kg - 5.9 X 20.2 cm.

1 lbs / 0.5 kg is not only made of steel, but also red, and comes with a cookie attachment.

5 lbs / 2.5kg comes with a clamp attachment like a noodle cutter or hand grinder.

I really love any cooked sausage - doctor's, dairy, children's, and our sausages / sausages also go well, but it's torture to hammer it through a meat grinder, and I didn't want to buy a syringe for 10-15 thousand, besides, I didn't want a big syringe ...

Here's my milk sausage (from a meat grinder).

Sausage syringe

***
In general, you can look at Ali independently by searching for different models according to the words - sausage maker (sausage maker). There are also large models, as in the picture above, however, because of their weight (11-12 kg and more), they are mainly sold with paid delivery.

Well, or google it yourself, but usually ours is more expensive. I didn’t see the smallest ones at all, I saw the smallest 1.5 kg Biovinovskiy, etc., prices from 3 thousand, but more often closer to 5 thousand, from the store. But Biovin can be bought from Biovin in Poland.

That is, depending on the sales, the dollar rate, I would look where at the time of purchase it is profitable to buy a horizontal small or large syringe - from us, on Ali or from Biovin or Blaumann for 2.5 kg. in another foreign store.

Foreign stores can also be found on Google by sausage maker where, what, how much.

Miranda, bravo! Great report and cool sausage!

Now I will have twice as much sausage!

3 liter for 10 ku

For 10 thousand. rubles?
Horizontal and side handle (in relation to the cylinder)?

I actually wanted to buy two. Big and small. Because it was originally aimed at a minimum of 1.5 kg., But I liked very little that it was red and with cookies. And my husband expressed an argument, they say, try one of them, and we will always have time to buy the second, not the last sale, and you make a maximum of 1.5 kg, not for sale, but why freeze it, better fresh.

No opinion on size. Probably if I tried on baboutMore, then, perhaps, would deny the non-tension of recharging, but I have no such experience, and yesterday's experience of recharging says that it is not difficult and fast. But still I think if someone cooks a lot at once, from 3 kg and more, then 1.5 or 2.5 kg is better.

I don’t remember who wrote that he ordered a vertical one at the same sale. It will be interesting to know the opinion! There the piston is "wrapped" in silicone. I'm thinking of coming up with some kind of rubber gasket for my own, but there is a tiny gap, I need a thin elastic band, I'll think about it.
***
By the way, I would add to the search words.

You can search on the Internet not only by Sausage Maker but also Sausage Stuffers... Google gives out a lot of foreign stores that sell different shapes and sizes. On Amazon there, maybe someone is more convenient there. The Germans have many species, the Poles, they are notable sausages.

Hello everybody! I read it, I read it ... now I will ask ...
My husband started making sausages (dry-cured) and wants to try boiled water.
I was instructed to find a syringe for him (since it is inconvenient to stuff with a meat grinder, as you write here).
Since I'm not boom-boom in this ... I ask for your help.
I understand that you need to buy 2.5 kg and the one that is attached to the table, right?

Now the question is: how much does it cost (in Ukrainian hryvnia), is it possible to send to Ukraine and how to do it all (order, pay, receive) ...
I beg you to help, because I absolutely do not understand this ... and a complete layman on the Internet (like my husband).

In the meantime, I'll show you sausages and meat (just like that, although not in the subject).

And I have such a horizontal one. Very comfortably. And so that no meat remains in the tarsus, it is necessary to roll a ball of foil of a suitable diameter and push through it with a long object.
olaola1
I went through all the stages - a meat grinder, a small syringe "Biovin", a 5 liter Hakka vertical syringe (as in Irsha's video, 3 liter in the video). Syringe "Biovin" 1.5 liters, I can say that it is not very convenient. And the minced meat passes into the gap between the body and the piston, and it is inconvenient to turn the handle. You need to hold your hand not by the handle, but by the base of the handle, then the piston goes smoother and does not scratch the flask. Over time, grooves from piston friction formed on the flask. It is especially difficult to stuff minced meat for dry-cured sausages, it is very thick and viscous and is pushed into the casing with great difficulty. At first, the minced meat came out of a gray flask (aluminum flask). I asked the seller a question about this. I was told that aluminum is food grade and there will be no harm. But, to be honest, I was not happy with this answer. I didn't use it for long, about a year. As a result, the thread on the sleeve, along which the piston walks, fell off. I decided to buy a large stainless steel syringe. The 3-liter was not available, I bought a 5-liter one and did not regret it even once. In fact, the flask holds about 4 kg. minced meat. Although I do not make that much sausage - 1-2 times a month, 3-4 kg, but still this syringe is the most convenient for me. Expensive, of course, but if possible, it is better to buy a good one. Moreover, the process of making sausages is very addictive. Of course, if you make sausage or sausages for one meal, then a small one is very suitable.

sausage syringe is a cousin of the tappervarevsky master press
put a thick tape under the creeping minced meat - and here you are, you don't really need a tapper anymore

Natusichka, I also bought a small syringe on a tip from Miranda, per kilogram, however, until it reached me. Before that, I was looking for a suitable small one, and the seller from the Moscow store "I eat sausages" sent me the coordinates of a peasant who sells these syringes. But he is located in Ukraine, and delivery was not profitable for me. Unfortunately, I erased these coordinates. But if you do not find anything suitable on the Internet, you can ask again

Kind people, it so happened that my review of the purchase of a syringe became a topic, and I'm kind of like a topikaster. But I am a beginner sausage maker, so I have few answers to questions. There are so many wonderful recipes and experienced sausages on our forum, but I only started making sausages for 9-10 months. But I will gladly share everything I know, what I read, etc.

Here I am! I suffered through a meat grinder, well, perhaps a Ukrainian one, where in pieces, and then all the time I wanted a ring, instead of a grate in front of a tarsus in a meat grinder. And she also circled around the syringe, looking for a hefty thing that would take up the entire pencil case, and not at a horse's price. And in Wishlist for a long time, but now it turned out at a nice price (after all, there was also an Ali-coupon for a common basket).

Well, I didn't want this type of huge and heavy initially.
It is very expensive and there is a lot of space. Immediately to buy this, apparently you have to go the way.

Quote: olaola1

I do not renounce the huge, but so far I still cannot imagine it in my kitchen. Apparently, in addition to the path from small to professional, but big, you still have to get into the topic of sausage, juggle many recipes at the same time and master them even with your eyes closed, that all doubts will disappear and a big heavy syringe will be for happiness.

It seems to me that these horizontal small ones, 0.5 kg or 2.5 kg, are an excellent initial solution. And if the topic does not develop or develops, but the volumes are small, then the final decision.

Quote: olaola1

You need to hold your hand not by the handle, but by the base of the handle, then the piston goes smoother and does not scratch the flask. Over time, grooves from piston friction have formed on the flask.

Still, Biovin is not sold on Ali.
I read once on another forum a dispute between two people. They argued that one in such a syringe clogs a maximum of 1.3 kg., The other said - where do your hands grow from, I clog 2.2 and calculated the volume mathematically from the length and diameter. One said - the handle must be held by the base, the second - I twist it perfectly. One says - the sucker is garbage, the other says - I have a clamp. They even decided that these were different parties of Biovin, the old and the new model. And then it turned out that one Biovin had 1.5 kg, and the other Blaumann had 2.5 kg. Outwardly they are similar, and here is mine of the same type.

But the gap is small and I have it. Wrapped it in a package. Nothing came of it back, but if it were without the package - I don't know. I want to come up with a pad.

There was no friction, the handle spun normally as intended. But here it can because I have a small cylinder diameter, a little less than 6 cm., And for 1.5 kg it is 9 cm, for 2.5 kg it is 10.7 cm. Maybe if the diameter is larger, then the piston, which is also larger, moves stronger

That is, the appearance is similar to Biovin, but how it works.
Only about 0.5kg. I can say - good.

Quote: olaola1
At first, the minced meat came out of a gray flask (aluminum flask).

I smelled like some kind of grease. My new noodle cutter smelled like that too. But there was no gray. At first I washed well with ferry and then with soda.

From the inaccuracies in mine - red paint climbed onto the thread, and there is one spot inside. Colored like this.

Quote: olaola1

Year - great! It depends on what price, because of the sale and the coupon, it came out very well - about a thousand rubles. And in a year, maybe I'll decide on a 3-liter Hakka. As far as I understand, it is the smallest of solid stainless steel.

Natusichka, On Aliexpress, the price is indicated in dollars, but I don’t know how much it is in hryvnia.

There are two options.
Search through a search engine for what and how much is sold from you.
Or buy on Ali.

If you buy on Aliexpress, then you need to register there, put it in the basket and pay. As in any online store. If it is not very clear how exactly to buy there, then you can ask in the topic about Aliexpress - https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=223694.2500

I understand that you need to buy 2.5 kg and the one that is attached to the table, right?

It depends on your financial capabilities.
Judging by the photo, the husband does a lot. Perhaps a large one will suit you, like in the video on the first page - Hakka. But if it is expensive and large in size, then this is the format like mine, only 2.5 kg and which is attached to the table.
Irina F
And yet ... Which one? Vertical or horizontal?
I'm all covered in thoughts ...
I decided to take the Hakka Brother, at first horizontal, but I never found it in stock. Then I decided to order a vertical one - it is in stock.
They promise to bring the horizontal one, though it is somehow vague, it is not clear when, but everything is pecked for me! We need it urgently!
I want to make all sorts of sausage stuff for Easter)
Dear ones! Help out! Let's think together, will the vertical be convenient?
Lёlik
The horizontal one should be located at the edge of the table so that it is possible to turn the handle. The vertical one can be placed wherever it is convenient. Takes up less space when stored. His only drawback is that a larger amount of minced meat remains in the tarsus, compared to the horizontal one. But you can skip the wet crumb of white bread at the end, and use the minced meat to the maximum. Some, simply manually removing the leftovers, make cutlets. But I read somewhere that if there is nitrite salt in the minced meat, then it is not recommended to fry it. The syringe is powerful and of high quality.

Miranda, great respect for your report. Maybe a question to you, to the rest of the participants: I looked a little at the options for syringes on the Internet, that's what confused me: no more than 26 mm diameter strings are attached (at least in the "economy options) ... How then to fill the most popular (in my glance) shell diameter 38-40 mm?

But, by the way, the first portion is about the same amount of shell that can be pulled over the tarsus. Although, I saw extra. the tarsus are long, about 25 centimeters, there, probably, you can stretch a lot. There are tarsus of different diameters, and the length of one is 10cm.

I thought that I wrote this very one-sidedly, as if only to myself. In the sense that I have an artificial casing in the photo, and for many months I have preferred different artificial natural ones.

But if natural, then it is thin and even 10cm. tarsus can be pulled several meters into an easy one.
Quote: * Eve *
Here's what confused me: tippers with a diameter of no more than 26 mm are attached (at least in "economy versions) ... How then to stuff the most popular (in my opinion) shell diameter of 38-40 mm?"

I saw a 32-33mm tarsus in some video.

And I also saw that the natural shell can look narrow, and when it is stuffed, it expands. That is, it is like 26 on the tarsus, and immediately after it all 32. It can easily stretch by 6-8mm. But the artificial one stretches only 1-2mm.

I also saw that when the shell is larger than the tarsus, then the shell is held by hand where the tarsus ends. That is, they do not allow it to leave the tarsus until the minced meat stuffs the shell both into the distance and in breadth.

Added Wednesday 13 Apr 2016 08:38

I also wanted to ask about the natural casing.

When I looked at Ali, it was not only Sausage Maker or Sausage Stuffers, but just Sausage. And then it gave out a variety of shells, both artificial and natural.

And now I'm wondering, how are natural products sold and delivered like that?
They are somehow specially dried and no longer require a freezer, will they go for a month or two, will they arrive and will not go bad? And at home they can also be stored just in a box as artificial? And then "revive" in the water?

Why don't I buy natural.
I need to know for sure that they were washed well, etc. That is, I'm afraid to buy bad ones and poison my family. They need to be stored in the cold, otherwise they, like everything biological, will simply deteriorate.

Has anyone bought shells overseas?
I have an old opinion about natural casings and are they already cool and safe?

The horizontal one should be located at the edge of the table so that it is possible to turn the handle. The vertical one can be placed wherever it is convenient. Takes up less space when stored. His only drawback is that a larger amount of minced meat remains in the tarsus, compared to the horizontal one.

I see such differences here.
Fastening, twist the handle, storage, and the amount of leftovers.

In the horizontal direction, the remains are only in the stump; in the vertical, the pipe turns and more remains, since the piston does not turn.

The storage space is different. Well, it is attached in different ways.
For vertical ones, the handle is higher, for horizontal ones, it is lower, you need to look at what prevents the handle from making a full circle, it is better not to put it near which drawers-cabinets.

Well, who likes what aesthetically.

Irina F
Miranda, thanks for the details!
I was interested precisely in terms of convenience, since I have no problems with the place.
There are no horizontal ones in stores now - all sellers say that the waiting list is approximately 1-2 months. There are horizontal ones.
Miranda
Irina F, I have a theoretical understanding of the difference, of course.
Well, a collective image from the owners' reviews

Vertical when turning the handle, then the hand must be held higher, someone does not care, but someone gets tired. And for someone, on the contrary, horizontal twisting is more difficult. But here, it seems to me, from the height of the table top. I have a low table in Yaroslavl, I twist the noodle cutter while sitting, otherwise the bend of my back becomes numb / hurts, and in Moscow, a high, waist-high tabletop, it is convenient to twist the noodle cutter.

Good luck with your choice

MIRANDA, yes, a good supplier has everything great in this regard. Namely: dried, salted and sealed in bags. Then soak as much as necessary in warm water and use. Unused is stored for a few m-ts just in the refrigerator, and if it takes longer, put in the freezer. Natural casings can be ordered on the Ki website. RU. I just drove to their store (Peter) and bought a bag with 10 m of the shell for testing. Everything is super

Miranda, Yeah! Of course, this whole thing is learned only in practice, because it is very individual!
Still, I tend to vertical, probably
Today I will decide with my husband - his brain works better

Still, Biovin is not sold on Ali
That's why I wrote the name of the syringe, because it was it that I used, there are really many others on Ali, similar in design.

I also wanted to ask about the natural casing.

When looking at Ali
From natural casings, I used only domestic and Polish ones. I liked the Polish ones very much, the domestic ones a little worse. The Chinese do not praise them very much, they come across leaky ones. Polish (bunch 91 m.) I bought sausages in Em. A well-packed casing was sent, it is wet, well salted, not dry. I have kept it for about 3 years in a zero chamber, I put it in a jar and fill it with a supersaturated saline solution. I take out as much as I need and rinse.
As for the storage of the syringe: if necessary, the horizontal can be stored in an upright position; it will take up even less space in terms of area than the vertical one, since it does not have a massive base.

MirandaThanks for your feedback on the syringe and all the details!
Wow, I was thinking about buying a syringe the other day, but they are expensive in our i-magicians. And here such a topic is necessary!
For me, as a sooo beginner sausage maker, just such a small one will do. I bookmarked the little shop. In the evening my husband will come home from work - I will make him happy.

Well, in the morning I was in a state of nirvana! And now it's a continuous torn - like a bitten one I run around the sites, looking for where to buy this syringe.

I don’t remember who wrote that he ordered a vertical one at the same sale. It will be interesting to know the opinion! There the piston is "wrapped" in silicone.
I ordered, but not on sale, but on Friday last week. Vertical by 5 kg, made of stainless steel and it cost me 4,300 rubles. As soon as I get it, I will report back.

Oppa, just looked, if you buy today, it costs even cheaper.
And yet, I would like to buy a cellophane casing for boiled sausages with a diameter of 60 mm or more. The people use and praise it very much (price-quality ratio). But I can't find it, maybe someone is already using it and knows where it is sold.

Great! We will all wait
And the price is nothing. Have you lowered the coupons yet?

I’ll save up coins in the application (though I don’t go in for something, because there are no coupons, such as dismantled, but I don’t need them now), I will exchange them for a coupon and the seller has coupons. And in a month or two + - I will buy another 2.5 kg from stainless steel. It is possible for 10-15 cu. e. lower the price with good coupons.

I also wandered there with him. The vertical piston is "wrapped" in silicone, that is, there should be no gap. And tarsus 4 pieces. So now I'm thinking about him. Although more expensive and more space. And it is not clear how to wash it, does it understand or not?

I will very much wait for your report. I think it will come to you just as quickly.

PS I remember about the recipe, I hope today it will be possible to write it down, the cat got sick, yesterday all evening at the veterinarian, this morning, I'm waiting for the call from the dropper to pick it up, and then in the evening again for injections

Yes, I used the coupon. Look, now it will cost 4100 with a coupon. My friend bought a dear one for 14,000 rubles, a stationary one without a clamp, as happy as an elephant, and does not almost regret the money spent.
