Liverwort with cabbage in a slow cooker

Ingredients

Chicken liver 500 g
Fresh white cabbage 1/2 small swing
Sour cream 20% package 200 g
Eggs 2 pcs.

Cooking method

  • She put the liver with spices and eggs into a large blender bowl, and with short impulses ground it into pieces. It is on small pieces (!), And not in a homogeneous puree.
  • Approximately 1/2 of a small cabbage roach was planted with thin straw on a berner directly into a multi bowl. I added more seasonings and about 2/3 cans of sour cream to the cabbage. I poured the multi liver mixture into a bowl and mixed well with the cabbage, diluted. Top up with the remaining sour cream.
  • I poked at baking for 50 minutes and left to take care of the children. After readiness, I did NOT take it out, but left it on heating until requested. It is also tasty when cold, most likely, but it seemed to me that it should be left warm.

It was in the evening, there was nothing to eat. And I was after a day of tiresome shopping in order to dress the child in the garden. In the refrigerator, I found an started tray of chicken liver and a lot of cabbage. I just didn't want to do an ordinary liverwort or hodgepodge, and I went for an experiment.

The result pleasantly surprised me. The liver from sour cream with an egg and cabbage juice came out tender, tender, my husband even said it didn’t look like a liver - more like kidneys or hearts. The cabbage is perfectly baked in liver juice with spices. A husband who came home "not very hungry" and initially agreed to just try twice asked for supplements.

But I don’t know what to call this miracle - either cabbage casserole with liver, or liverwort with cabbage. But I will definitely repeat. For beauty, you can also decorate the finished dish with herbs or coat it with something.

The liverwort cooked, but deviated from the recipe. Zucchini was taken instead of cabbage. Everything else is as written! Great pie turned out! Vegetables are not felt at all. The only thing - a little fell apart. I will not expose a photo - it is not very appetizing in a collapsed state. I will cook unambiguously, only next time I will add semolina and wait for it to cool completely in the cartoon, only then I will take it out. Ernimel, Thank you!
