Israeli women: I got a new Tupper discount flyer at work for the holidays. If anyone is interested - write in a personal. And at work they gave me a thermoserver. I'm trying to figure out if I need him, and what to do with him?

Well, like brewing something, I also know that many cottage cheese is somehow made in it. In a good kitchen, they can advise where to adapt it - there are great amateurs gathered. I was never inspired by it, so I don't have my own advice.

I have not seen a new catalog yet, but now this ball goes as a gift for the hostess (well, or just if you order something for 6600). Some people store homemade mayonnaise in it, it's not bad - and the jar is sealed, and you can decorate it if necessary from it without shifting.
What I really like about the thermoserver is that it is convenient to take out the products from it, it’s the same sieve right away, and you don’t need to interfere. I make a preliminary preparation in it - I pour the canneloni for 4 minutes before stuffing, I recently softened the cheese for a roll (I don't have a microwave, but there is much more trouble with a bag in boiling water), etc.
It also stores baked goods well.
Aunt Besya
I've heard. that a thermoserver is an indispensable thing for cooking squid and shrimp, in the sense that not to overcook. I don’t know, right?

Absolutely true, shrimps are obtained in 15 minutes, juicy, tender, and most importantly, this nauseating smell does not appear in the apartment, as when cooking in a saucepan ... and the shrimps will remain hot if, after cooking, the thermal water is not completely drained .. .... you can also steam the compotes, as in a jug, blanch vegetables, frozen kefir curd and yogurt (we have already written about this), defrost something conveniently, put it in the insert, the water flows down ...

Girls, but I really liked this dish, but we don't sell it yet
The Mozart ball is so-so, nothing remains on the accordion, because when you zymaesh everything and climb inside, I have either in the nozzle or on the lid - the back one.
And yet the best thermoserver is a cartoon. Although if they gave it, I would gladly take it to the dacha, so as not to injure the cartoon by moving. You can make sir and yogurt in it, cook cereals well.

Thank you for writing about the ball! If it doesn't stay on the accordion, it's not bad! What attracted you to the dish? It seems nothing special, but with a hole for whipping with a mixer, there are now many types of containers. Maybe there is still something good in him?

These are "Profi" kneading dishes for 1.5 and 3 liters. In Russia, these weeks they are presented as gifts to consultants ... Maybe you too, ask consultants ...
Caprice
I have all these kneading rooms at home, but apparently they are lying around from the previous series ... It seems like you look at the catalog - you want it, but you buy it - it just takes up storage space ... In general, I'm generally very disappointed in Tupper: the prices huge, even scary to use them. And the quality is the most common, no better than the cheaper plastic dishes, and sometimes worse.

But kneading dishes do not have to be used for the dough! Moreover, almost all "residents" of this site have bread makers.
These are just containers with a sealed lid, plastic, and therefore lightweight and unbreakable. Are they really not needed on the farm? Then it is better to give, for sure, someone will be happy from them, "litter", in the end.

You know, about cheap analogues of better quality - it's like a fairy tale about a white bull.
In Russia (I can’t say anything about Israel) in large cities there may be such a choice, but in small cities it is simply NOT.

As it turned out, they were not useful. They are so expensive that it is simply a pity to use them. A kind of toad crushes. So the unclaimed ones are lying around. And to give - what a gift: a plastic bowl? They will not understand, they will say, "I wanted to get off with a cheap plastic bowl" Not everyone knows that this "cheap plastic bowl" is quite expensive ... In Israel, only those who are interested in this know about Tupper. There are practically no such people among my acquaintances.

That's exactly what you can't say about Israel. In all our stores, we have a shaft of all kinds of plastic goods, which are much cheaper.

Finally, I got my hands to test the square thermoserver, which I received as a gift. Made buckwheat in it. Thoroughly washed the cereals in lukewarm water, drained, salted and poured with boiling water. She covered the whole structure with a towel and waited diligently for 50 minutes. Then she poured out the remaining water and allowed the remaining water to drain from the middle, perforated part of the thermoserver. Otherwise it would be watery. During this time, everything cooled down pretty much, I had to warm each portion in a plate in a micro.
Impressions: you can eat when it is lazy to cook in a normal way. Somewhere on a hike (but is it worth dragging this structure into nature?) Or in the country (which is more convenient for those who have it), for example. The son said that buckwheat was damp and undercooked, the husband said that it was tolerable. Conclusion: to cook in a saucepan in a normal way - it turns out much tastier.

I still haven't experienced the kneading dish, I look at it with apprehension and mix the dough in HP.
Aunt Besya
And this week I was tempted to buy another bowl-container for cheese and meats. It seems to be like A21, only it has two lids (each container has its own) and one of the lids with an insert, like a syrnica, is such a hole. Let's see what kind of beast
Caprice
And I also bought myself a "CrystalWave ™ Soup Mug" to warm up the soup in micro

ikko4ka, the soup mug is really interesting. But it has a significant drawback: the lid is so tight that it takes inhuman efforts to open / close it. Apparently, it is designed to, like, take a cup of soup, for example, to work, where there is a microwave to warm up. Sealed, so to speak. But, on the other hand, there is a real danger, there at work, after warming up, when opening the cup, to get dirty and dirty in full
As for the pasta dish - that's why I bought it.True, only later I realized that I very rarely knead anything in bowls. I mean, the test. With the necessary kneading, until now, I have successfully coped with HP
ikko4ka
Caprice, I got the hang of kneading the dough with a spatula (it takes 5 minutes), I still bake in the oven. Although in x. etc. I do the kneading - when it is necessary to knead for a long time.

Caprice, I liked your mug very much, unfortunately I did not find it in our catalog. If it's not difficult, write what volume it has.
Svetlana, this mug is small. Let's put it this way: for a serving of soup. From about half a liter. Although, in the Israeli catalog, its volume was indicated as 650 ml, and on Tupper's website, 470 ml was indicated. In general, see for yourself here:
The disadvantages of this mug, I must say, are very significant, I described above.
Svetlana
Caprice, thanks for the answer. I looked at your link and wanted even more. And the price is reasonable, I would say. And the volume would suit me. But this is probably a novelty and we do not have it in the catalog yet. I will wait. As for the lid, I think it will be developed, although at first, of course, you need to be very careful with hot liquids. And special thanks to you for LJ Sophia is an accountant, you once mentioned him. I constantly read and take recipes from there. I also read elaizik.livejournal.com from Israeli. And be sure to try the pastry dish! I make everything from pancakes to proofing dough mixed in a bread maker in it. Very comfortably. Then write. Good luck!

Svetlana, I'll try, maybe, somehow, probably
Although, I predominantly knead pancakes in a food processor. It is very convenient, you know, If you want, I will share a recipe for making pancakes for the lazy (like me) in Israeli style.

Svetlana We have such a mug, but so far as a gift.

oh, the mugs were found, then click - the recruiting program.
Recently, I often use the grind, I do not know what it is exactly called, I did not find it in the catalog or on the website. I make mashed potatoes with her, but these are trifles. I'm making mashed apples now. It is very convenient, the mashed potatoes fall through, but the skins remain, which means you do not need to peel the apples, which greatly speeds up the process.
Caprice
To be honest, I am far from delighted with this mug. But the thermoserver, which was presented to me, I even really liked. Cool, as it turned out, device
Aunt Besya
Girls, did anyone use such a container for freezing and then heating in the microwave? I just bought it, I haven't used it yet, I took it for the company along with the already tested freezing containers:
Plastic dishes Tupperware - reviews

The lid of the container is made of thin silikon, you can put the contents "with a slide", the silikon will fit tightly, it is advertised that due to the lack of air and tight fit, freezing occurs faster. This dish can be immediately put into the warm-up mode after lifting the lid a little.
Boo Boo
Caprice Nope, harder. A blue bowl with a handle, a metal disc with holes is inserted into it, there are two in the set. At the top is a spinner. Somehow foolishly explained, but as it is. I saw a similar thing at Moulinex.

Aunt Besya My two girlfriends have, they are happy.

Their bowls are also very cool, but it seems that it was wasted, the difference with others is not a fork.
But I also look at cutting for onions, garlic and herbs, but I don't know if it's worth it, I saw the same in the store but from other companies, I think it's no worse. after all, here and there a knife, both that and that are blunt ...

Today I was informed that the other day there will be a new catalog for 2010. They said that prices there will already be much higher. Interestingly, where is it higher then?

Looked-small smart syrnitsa-20.5 X 20.5 cm-what size was the big one? No, for me, even small-large. Almost like a cake maker in size!

Aunt Besya!L
Lena, you were right about the syringe-ball, completely disappointed in it! It is very inconvenient to squeeze anything out of it and indeed a lot of content remains between the folds, a simple pastry bag is much better!

Yes, the mill is called "Fantasy", but about the harvester, with the advent of Bosch with a wiper nozzle that wipes everything that is possible, I bet. I will not trade Boshik for any hand mill.
LudMila
The smallest syrnitsa "crumb" 15x16 cm, it is not in our catalog, in the spring it was on a special offer. It holds about 500g of cheese. I really like this "baby"!

And yesterday they brought me my mini chopper for onions / garlic / nuts / herbs and a decorator that looks like an accordion klister AND a new catalog for 2010 and a Hanukkah discount booklet, which turned out to be a little cheaper for me this decorator.

There are several lids with different patterns that leave an impression + a small lid to store and a large tray lid to serve. When the mold is turned over and the top cap with a pattern is removed, the contents fall onto the pallet by itself.

And my ring is a little different. There are no caps with different patterns, but there is an additional container that can be inserted inside, which can also be filled with something, for example, of a different color, or simply removed when turning over, then the contents are obtained in the form of a ring. Caprice
I have. Gave it. I cooked buckwheat in it a couple of times, mine didn't like it. So it stands idle on the mezzanine ...
Omela
Kuryanochka,
I have been using it for about 7 years. There was a booklet with recipes. Do you have one? If not, I can search. That's what I'm doing:
- Buckwheat porridge. I like it, but my mom doesn't. I pour a lot of water, and not as they advise - 2cm higher than the cereal.
- I defrost fruits - cherries, for example (water and juice drain, but the berries remain dry).
- By the same principle I make cottage cheese for a child. First, I freeze kefir - 0.5 liters, then I lined several layers of gauze, cut the bag, spread the frozen kefir, close the lid and overnight. In the morning, the most delicate curd.
- I cook rice noodles and spaghetti. Pour boiling water over and leave for 10 minutes.
- Made yogurt a couple of times.
- I leave the dough for proofing. I use warm liquid for kneading the dough. I spread it without an insert and close it with a lid.
- The shrimps are amazing. Pour boiling water over unfrozen shrimps and for 15 minutes. During this time I make the sauce: dill + garlic + salt + soy sauce + rast. oil. Drain the water, pour the sauce over the shrimp and mix.
Well, this is so, at a glance!

Kuryanochka
Thanks for the advice! And I managed to boil eggs in it! Poured boiling water over the eggs for 30 minutes (from the refrigerator), boiled hard boiled
I poured shrimps for 30 minutes, a lot, 15 then it will be better
I found a recipe book on the Internet.
Interestingly, no one tried the soup? If you cover it with a teapot heating pad, can you do it?
One lady manages to boil chicken pieces for 15 minutes.
