Roast baked in pumpkin

Ingredients

Pumpkin 1 PC
Meat or minced meat
Potatoes
Onion 1 PC
Salted cucumbers 1 - 2 pieces
Black pepper pinch
Garlic 3-4 cloves
Spices and condiments taste
Grated cheese 100 g

Cooking method

  • We take a fairly large pumpkin, cut off the top of it (the one with a tail), clean out the seeds, use a spoon and a knife to remove part of the pulp, so that about 1.5 cm remains on the walls of the pulp.
  • Cut the meat and potatoes into small (1.5 cm) pieces, if you use minced meat, then divide it into chunks of the same size, cut the removed pumpkin pulp into the same pieces, cut the onion into half rings, mix all this in a bowl, which should approximately correspond in volume a "saucepan" of pumpkin (it is easier to understand if you have enough filling, whether you need to add ingredients or, on the contrary, not put everything). Salt, pepper, add garlic, herbs and seasonings and put all this in a pumpkin "saucepan". Sprinkle with grated cheese on top. Above you can attach the cut off tip. Coat the pumpkin with vegetable oil.
  • We put all this structure in a deep frying pan or stewpan, I put a non-stick cloth on the bottom, you can put it on a pan. We bake until the ingredients are ready in the oven at temperature 180 - 200C. The cooking time and the exact amount of ingredients will depend on the size of your saucepan. This is usually 1.5 - 2 hours. If the top starts to burn, cover it with foil.
