The market today offers various types of kitchen appliances designed for high-quality baking. Microwave ovens with special convection, electric pans and cabinets, bread makers, multicooker are replacing traditional ovens.
Such an abundance, of course, pleases, but not all kitchen appliances can fully cope with their obligations. In this article, we will try to identify the shortcomings and advantages of this or that technique.
Ovens
B gas and electrical appliances have the advantage of heating from all sides. The baked goods placed there are evenly heated, so they will bake perfectly. As a result, we get good buns, pies, cake buns and almost everything else.
Using the oven, we can adjust the temperature to meet these requirements. Professional models are equipped with ultra-precise smooth regulation of the temperature indicator, but they are quite expensive.
When choosing the necessary oven attention must be paid to having the correct temperature gauge. Despite the fact that the technology has stepped far ahead, at times there are models in which the calibration of thermometers is presented in arbitrary units, and not as it should be in degrees.
Microwave
Microwave with convection is a typical harvester. The available modes in it can be performed separately or together. These ovens can bake rolls and cakes, biscuits and shortbread... In principle, the baking turns out to be quite good, but this appliance is very, very far from the oven.
Bread maker
Bread maker - a good baking device. Most models can knead and infuse the dough on their own and then bake it. Taking into account the presence of a timer, it became possible to please yourself in the morning with warm bread.
Some bread makers are allowed to bake muffins, which is considered their indisputable advantage. But despite the simplicity of baking, the limited use of recipes and forms does not allow professional chefs to use them.
Multicooker
Unlike a bread machine, they cannot knead the dough. But everything is baked in the same limited volume, although there is a 3d heating function here. But if the multicooker has a temperature adjustment function, then it will be possible to experiment with various recipes, including those created for conventional gas ovens.
But in most cases, people buy cheap multicooker, in which the temperature is fixed, for example, 50 minutes. And of course, there can be no question of any culinary fantasy.
Electric frying pan
Not even all cooks know about such a technique as an electric frying pan. This is a small duralumin frying pan with heating elements built into the lid. Adjustments and switches are not provided here, everything is very restrained and simple to the maximum.
Experience has shown that biscuit dough is most ideal in such a pan, but other dough may not be baked in it. Overall, top-heated kitchen appliances look more than amazing. And therefore, the electric frying pan did not gain the widespread popularity like other kitchen appliances.
Summing up, we can highlight the following - for cooking in a professional kitchen, you need a high-quality oven, better with a clear temperature control and an upper burner. Electrical cabinets are expensive, but quality and performance come at a price. If appliances are needed for home cooking, it will be enough to purchase a multicooker or bread maker.
