Eyelids and eyelashes are important because they protect the eyes from dust and other foreign bodies. And the eyebrows serve to protect the eyes from dust and sweat from the forehead. The hairs forming eyelashes and eyebrows grow slowly, they are quite dense and short.
Unfortunately, not everyone can boast of beautiful eyelashes and eyebrows. So, the length and density of eyelashes, as a rule, is laid even before the birth of a person, and it is rather difficult to influence these indicators in any way. However, you can improve the appearance of eyelashes if you care for them in a timely and correct way.
Eyelash care. Every evening after washing, brush your eyelashes with a brush dipped in a mixture of castor oil and rum (1: 1). In this case, care must be taken that liquid does not get into the eyes. This daily care makes the lashes darken and grow faster.
You can make your eyelashes fuller and longer with mascara. Mascara should be applied from the very roots of the eyelashes to their tips, directing the brush up and slightly outward (towards the temples). After the mascara has dried, you can powder them a little and apply a new layer of mascara. This will make the lashes appear thicker and longer.
If you wish, you can contact a beautician and dye your eyelashes with eyebrow and eyelash paint. This will make them darker for a longer time, and also visually lengthen, since the dye will stain the colorless tips of the eyelashes black.
Also recently, such a procedure as eyelash extension has been popular. It allows you to stay with long and fluffy lashes for two to three months. True, during this time, you need to periodically visit an extension specialist and make a correction (once every two to three weeks), as well as follow some rules for caring for extended eyelashes. It is not recommended to do this procedure if you are allergic to building glue, as well as with a tendency to frequent conjunctivitis and inflammation of the eye mucosa.
Eyebrow care. The thickness of the eyebrows and their shape are also given to man by nature. But this does not mean that they cannot be significantly improved. To strengthen the eyebrow hairs and make them silky, it is advisable to regularly comb them with a special brush, as well as do a light massage. In this case, the eyebrows can be lubricated with castor oil.
Compresses of warmed olive oil, to which a few drops of lavender essential oil are added, strengthen the eyebrows well. In it, you need to moisten the pieces of cotton wool and apply them on the eyebrows for 10-15 minutes, and then remove the excess oil with a napkin.
You can improve the shape of the eyebrows, make them visually darker and thicker with the help of decorative cosmetics. For these purposes, there are pencils and mascaras of various shades. You can also use a dark, matte eye shadow to tint your eyebrows with a brush. This option is the simplest and looks very natural.
If necessary, you can correct the shape of the eyebrows by removing excess hairs with special tweezers. The ideal is the shape in which the inner wider parts of the eyebrows begin on the same verticals with the inner corners of the eyes. In this case, the outer part of the eyebrow should end on a line drawn figuratively through the wing of the nose and the outer corner of the eye, and the bend should end on a line drawn through the wing of the nose and the pupil of the eye looking forward.
Just like eyelashes, eyebrows can be tinted with a special paint. This will allow for up to two weeks to make their color more saturated or dark, and, therefore, avoid the need to constantly use cosmetics.
