I found a new product on the Internet - the Gastroback multicooker.

Has such programs: porridge, yogurt, baked goods, baby food, pasta cooking, stewing, meat and fish.

Interestingly, someone already uses this?

I was also interested in her .... and the price is reasonable ... have you already purchased it? if yes, please share your impressions
libushe
I also looked at her, embarrassed that there was only 1.8 liters. And you have there such a BEEM - multicooker pressure cooker. Will it not be better? And some other Lentz, it seems to be 3 (2.8) liters, I don't remember exactly - this is purely a multicooker. Well, the same Unold remains. But it has no baking function.
I swept and bought Unold 68211 - cotton with multi-cooker and AVAIR IDA - this is a pressure cooker.
annyshka78
I didn't buy it because of the small volume ... I bought morphy richards
Agata21

It seems to me that 1.8 is not a displacement, but the volume of finished rice, like all multicooker. Most likely it is 4-5 liters. And the programs are even nothing. If the saucepan is also good ... what else can you say?
Zenna
Agata21, I looked at this malta cooker on the OTTO website, the photo shows that the maximum mark in the bowl (by cups of rice) is 5.5. For comparison, in Supra 4511, the maximum mark for cups of rice is 10 (while the volume of the pan is 5 liters), and in Panasonic small, the maximum for cups of rice is 5 (and the volume of the pan is 2.5 liters), so it is actually small ...

I broke down and ordered it. They wrote, in 5 - 14 days they will send. So, when it comes, I will throw pictures and information here, how and what. By the way, the manufacturer writes on the website - 3 liters saucepan. Now it's too late for me to rush around, I will come and figure it out.
Yuri77
So does anyone have such a slow cooker? I ordered myself to load the phone from a German online store, now I'm thinking about which side to approach. There was no experience in using multicooker before. Is there a translation of the instructions on how to cook pilaf in it?
libushe
As for me, they didn't bring it to me. I ordered through a Czech company, waited a month, apologized that they were out of stock and I refused the order. Then I bought myself Morphy Richards.
If you are already taking it to you, then you can understand the instructions, the programs will be in German, but the main thing for you is to know which programs mean what, and cooking is similar to other multicooker. They will bring, write here, we will translate the programs, if necessary.
Yuri77
Already brought. The instructions are in German and English, the inscriptions on the multicooker are in English.
On the front panel of the program: Rice (preset), Baby food (preset), Steam cook (preset), Bake, Yoghurt, Soup (preset)
As I understand it, rice, a double boiler, baby food, pastries, yogurt, soup.

As for pilaf, it is most often recommended to first fry meat and vegetables in baked goods, then add rice, pour water, and cook in pilaf mode. But there is no such regime, what is better to use instead of it? Rice?
Rita
Yuri77!
This multicooker has no other options besides rice for pilaf. If suddenly the water does not evaporate enough or you want to fry it, then you can put it on the Baking for a short time.
In fact, you need to read any topic about multicooker, except for the Panasonic multicooker, and you will immediately understand how to cook in it.
Cute cartoon! I wanted her too, but she was a little expensive for me, so when an opportunity appeared, I gladly bought a little Liberton, which is very similar to Gastrobak.

Yuri 77,
Reis (Rice, pilaf) - obviously sensory, time will set itself
Babybrei - for baby food, porridge, just do not load it immediately with milk in order to avoid milk escape. Try to run it with water, see how intense it will boil, the time can be set from 30 to 60 minutes
Dampfgaren - steaming (the stand must be included) from 5 to 60 minutes
Backen - baking - the time will set itself. This is the same as in Supra 4531 - very interesting, but the mv will determine the time itself, depending on the amount, for 10 it will start the countdown
Jogurt - Yogurt - everything is clear The default time is 8 hours, cannot be reset
Soup - soup, sauce, potatoes, vegetables, 30 to 90 minutes.

Could you describe the cup itself? Thin, solid, how do you like the coating?
Yuri77
bowl 3 mm thick, aluminum with non-stick coating
libushe
3mm - like nothing should be a bowl, not thin. It is still better to buy a silicone spatula so that you do not scratch with a plastic spoon. So good cooking I think the pilaf should work out in every case, it will work before evaporation. And you can try to bake a cupcake. So they finally appeared with us, only there is nowhere to buy, already bought, there are no places in the kitchen

Hello dear accomplices.

A month ago I bought such a slow cooker. I will write my review about it as there is something to compare. Before that, there was Brand 37502 new. It was used for more than a year, but with the move I had to sell it and look for a replacement.
Brand 37502 new
pros:
- there is a plate with the temperature regime and cooking time (this is what Gastroback lacks). For example: first stage 30 min tempo 90, second 40 min tempo 60
-many modes: pilaf, heating, stewing, languishing, milk porridge, yogurt, soup, buckwheat porridge (= pilaf mode), dough mode (I do not have enough of it, but we already have delicious baked goods sold better to buy for that and comes out at a price
-the steam valve works well
-removable cover
cons: poor coating of the bowl, changed once under warranty
- sticky porridge
- in the heating mode, it fries at 90 C, burns, sticks, boils away if you do not keep track
-small design

Gastroback
pros
- design, shape, display does not fog up
- bowl, good quality coating!
-good heating - nothing has ever boiled away and the liquid has not diminished, you can see how much it was heated by the timer

minuses:
-no return report how much is left to wait
-no temperature regime how much it heats in a particular program
- the cover is not removed
- in the "Baby food" mode, milk and porridge escapes with a closed lid, with an open one you need to add liquid.

Omelets on baked goods, heated soup (cabbage soup, borscht, eintopf, cheese soup) are wonderful;
steam cutlets, rice, you need to be able to calculate the amount of water, pilaf has not yet been tried
In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, the price and quality correspond. I will continue to study what I can. I don’t know yet where to replace the thicket if that.

And also let's share the recipes, since not all forum recipes are suitable.

Girls, do not be offended by the current, but her name is mortality!

That the lid cannot be removed, so it has sensors there most likely. And a little ten. If you turn on the mode with the lid open for the purity of the experiment, and after half a minute you touch the bottom of the lid, you will feel heating, not strong, only for uniform heating of the dish. Because of the flip cover, wire the wires
And how to make porridge in it then? And the extinguishing mode is very active, maybe on it?
I had doubts about the saucepan, but if it is solid, then this is a plus for it.
The name ... but whatever was given, with that she will have to get out. For the Germans, it probably sounds euphonious.

And the name is not only for this model, but for the whole brand of household appliances gastroback. They have a lot of good meat grinders and juicers.

A video review of a Chinese multicooker very similar to this German one.

Nata1500
Hello girls. A month ago I bought a multicooker. In Europe, Philips and Panasonic are not sold, I bought Gastroback at my own peril and risk.
Multicooker Gastroback Multi Cook

What topic do I have with her? One-on-one design with Supra 5202 and DEX80 (81).

The order of functions is similar to the Supra 5202, but there is no voice guidance and the ability to record your own recipe.
Otherwise, like DEX, but the order of the programs does not match at all.

Where to write? (I want to Phillips)

I take any recipes I like from any themes of any models. The only difference for me is a slow cooker or a pressure cooker.
If not recipes, but some questions about operation, ask here. I think they will help you
Nata1500
In the slow cooker on the program, the rice ratio is 1: 2. During the cooking process, after reaching the set temperature, steam constantly pours out of the valve and at the end of the cooking time (and even earlier), the water boiled away, and the rice is damp. The mode is not touch-sensitive, you have to set the time yourself.
As in your cartoons on rice, does it boil strongly and constantly or only at the beginning, and then languish?
Nata1500
So they helped ((((They drove out into a dead topic (I can say a beginner in multicooker and have absolutely no idea how some programs should work correctly. That's where to ask? Maybe I have a marriage and need to take it under warranty. Such a cartoon, probably , only on my forum, at least face one to one with Supra.
Well, okay! One in the field will also fight!
libushe
Nata1500, in rice mode, the boil is usually strong, the rice should be steamed and soaked in steam. Steam flows through the valve quite intensively. The ratio of water to rice varies depending on the type of rice. For long rice, I take 2.5 (2.8) water for 1 part of rice. If your rice was damp, and the water had time to boil (soaked in), then you need more water and cooking time. By default, the program should run for 25 minutes (downloaded the description, looked). At the end, all the water should be absorbed into the rice, so it looks like everything has boiled away. This means that you need to take more water for your rice and set the time longer - 35-40 minutes. Since the program is not touch-sensitive, you can open the lid in about 30 minutes (you cannot do this with the touch program - the program may go astray), stir the rice and check if you are ready and, if necessary, turn off the mv. Sensory programs are not always convenient. Try a different ratio and time a couple of times, and you will achieve the desired result, then you will set the resulting time constantly. The branch is "quiet", because only those who have written something here once get a notification, and there are very few users with such models, almost no one. Do not despair, the cartoon is good. I will look at this thread, if I know the answer, I will tell you.
Nata1500
libushe, thanks for your reply! This means the multicooker is working correctly. I also began to cook rice on the Cereals / Legumes mode, at first it boils strongly, and then quite lightly, the buckwheat there turned out to be very good!
I tried the baking mode, baked carp with vegetables: the carp burned a little and stuck strongly to the bottom. How to use this mode correctly and how does it differ from baking? I can't find information about temperature conditions anywhere.
libushe
Nata1500, I don't have this model, but there are several other mv. Therefore, I write based on my experience with them. Baking should be softer than baking. Nobody writes the temperature. Maybe it is no different, and the extra button makes the MV more interesting. You can't go wrong if you bake everything on baked goods. As for sticking, it will be on baked goods, it depends rather on the product, tomatoes like to stick, and mayonnaise with cheese too. Potatoes with meat and onions do not stick especially. Depends on the bowl. If the bowl is so sticky, then at least make the cupcakes (in the sense of baking) using baking paper. Do not scrub the bowl - just fill it with warm water, close the lid and turn on the cartoon to keep warm (heating) for half an hour or an hour. Everything will peel off by itself and wash well.
