Ingredients

cucumbers
carrot 0.5 pcs.
onion 1 PC.
mustard seeds 1-1.5 tbsp. l.
sugar 300 g
salt 3 tbsp. l.
vinegar 9% 400 ml
laurel. sheet 10 pieces.
sweet peas 10 pieces.
bitter peas 10 pieces.

Cooking method

  • Put carrot circles, onion rings, bell pepper (optional), mustard seeds in a liter jar on the bottom.
  • Place small cucumbers, cover with brine, sterilize for 5-7 minutes. a liter jar (I do it with a triple fill, it costs equally well, I store it in the apartment).
  • Brine - for 1.5 liters of water 300 g of sugar, 3 tbsp. l. salt, 10 allspice and hot peppercorns each, 10 lavrushkas - boil for 3 minutes, pour in 400 ml of vinegar 9%, bring to a boil and pour the jars. Turn the sealed cans over and wrap until they cool completely.
  • I make cans of 1, 0.7 and 0.5 liters. I prepare the brine in proportion to the drained water.
  • The method of closing cucumbers in jars - seaming with a key or twist-off lid - does not matter to me, they cost the same.

Note

A jar of such cucumbers was treated to me by my customer. When my husband and I opened these cucumbers for Easter ... Until this moment, I absolutely did not like sweet cucumbers, but these !!! My world has turned upside down! Now I close cucumbers only according to this recipe, for the third year I have not bothered.
My husband jealously watches the picking of cucumbers in the country and asks again whether this is for Oksana's recipe or not.

Py. sy. There is no need to be afraid of a frightening quantity of vinegar in brine, it is perfectly leveled by a large quantity of sugar. The taste of the product is very harmonious!

The recipe describes how to do it - pour and sterilize. I do not sterilize, I do it 3 times with filling. Wrapping is always necessary.

I do it in different banks, how much I pour, and if it remains, then pour in a jar. But more often I count the drained water under the recipe, then there are no leftovers.

Cucumbers I had very large hogs, cut them into 3-4 parts with washers, I took cans for 1.5 liters. I sterilized half of the cans in a saucepan, and tried to make the rest as per the recipe for Aunt Margita's Cucumbers. Poured with brine and set in micro for 5 minutes at maximum.
