Crochet, I just arrived. It turned out super tasty. The husband himself cleaned and cut the zucchini into 2 new batches yesterday. Now they are already drying. Made from yellow zucchini. It turned out so beautiful and again I make lemon and orange. Including Lina is your sour cream and now the zucchini are STEERING !!!
I bought a melon, I also want to try it, sorry there are no more yellow ones ... only zucchini remained.
Linadoc
Irina, I made from zucchini. I have a total weight of the remaining zucchini over 50 kg. Now candied fruits do not save, I am already driving juice in liters, and transferring squeezes into a sweet preparation.
kil
Linadoc, Lina, I also made the first from zucchini and ordinary white zucchini, but from yellow ones, very beautiful candied fruits are obtained, straight amber, so next year I will plant more yellow ones exclusively on candied fruits. And the juice from them does not taste or are there secrets? Let's inject

I squeeze the juice 1: 1 with apples, then heat it to 90 * and add sugar and spices - cardamom, cinnamon, star anise. I pour it into sterilized bottles. I bake pancakes with my own sour cream out of squeezes and make sweet preparation, I had it all gone by March, although there were kilograms of it.

Linadoc, Lina thanks, I understand

I dried 3 degrees (corresponds to about 80 * C) 4 hours, then just mixed with a spoon and dried more 6 o'clock 2 more degrees 7 o'clock (night)

Linus, I got confused, I counted correctly, your candied fruits dried for 17 hours?

I'm waiting for a report

I will soon, yeah ...

again making lemon and orange

Irisha, you add zest to zest instead of pears, right?

Irish, and you did not notice how much your candied fruits dry?

Something of mine was drying out for a long time, even I was already pretty tired, but what is it like for them, poor things?

I turned it off for now), but I'll probably turn it on a little later), let them take a walk for now ... and the dryer will rest ...
kil
Crochet, Inna, I made juice on a screw from 2 lemons and 3 oranges and made different ones, added zest to oranges, not to lemon ones, and so the smell and taste are excellent. I dry it for a long time, almost a day ... first, 3 hours at 70 degrees and then at 40-45 ... but as always, I retreated from Linin's recipe, just first, after boiling with soda, I pour the zucchini into hot juice-syrup for the night, then I pour out the resulting syrup again and throw the zucchini there, I do not cook the first or second filling, I only warm it up a little after I throw the zucchini and keep it for another 9 hours and into the dryer. And sugar on the eye and taste, so that it was just sweet and sour. Yesterday I even put a little sugar and a little stevia, I want to try completely on stevia, make absolutely dietary ones. Maybe today I'll just try melon ones.
Linadoc
Inna, yeah, they dry for a long time. But not 17 o'clock, but 10. There is something wrong with me.

This is very interesting, I will wait for the result.
kil
Anna1957Anna most likely next year, this year yesterday the last zucchini was lemon-toned, I use the syrup several times, because I did it yesterday with syrups from the past candied fruits, now they are infusing, they will go to the dryer in the evening. Lina, great respect to you again

Yes, what is there, although thanks!

that's how I would listen and listen

And I switched to pumpkins and squash, but I always cook new syrup, and close the used one for further use.

Lina, what pumpkin recipe do you use?

Linadoc
For the same. But decorative pumpkins and squash give a little juice, so I cook the syrup separately.
Florichka
I did it for a long time and carefully, the result pleased me. Delicious.
Candied fruits Duchess
Linadoc
Irina, oooh, not bad! Why long? I just put it on for the night and that's it.
Florichka
No, I dried it quickly. It seemed for a long time and many times it boiled, stood, but this is the first time. I liked it very much. There are plenty of zucchini, I'll still do it Delicious and healthy sweets. Sugar is too much for me, I will reduce it. And I'll try with orange and lemon. Another question, what role does soda play here?
Linadoc

What role does soda play here?
Sugar 400g per 1 kg of fruits and vegetables is the minimum. Soda facilitates the process of sugaring, so two boils and one standing is enough.
Luna Nord
It is very tasty and has a long shelf life. I did it last year, shoved it into a far corner and found them only in July! Perfectly preserved!
Ra ya
I once made candied fruits from apples. And then soda was also used in the recipe. As explained in that recipe, baking soda helps to create a "crust" in candied fruit, but inside it remains soft. That is, soda, as if tanning a thin outer layer and due to this, candied fruits do not boil.
SvetaI
Linadoc, take the report!
In my opinion, they look very similar to yours, right?
Nice, fragrant, but, alas, never a duchess
I don't have my own pears, I went to the store, smelled everything there, they don't smell like pears and that's it! Well, some of them could be smelled, and took them, but what to do?
But candied fruits smell like my favorite cinnamon and cardamom, so I'm not offended
From above they are dry, almost not sticky, but they stick a little to the teeth - is that how it should be?
I will have sweets for tea and filling in cakes and muffins in winter, thanks!
Candied fruits Duchess
Linadoc
Svetlana, ooooo, class! Clever girl! Now there will be sweets, and additives to tea, and additives in baked goods

Yes, here you need your own or local market, these are with aroma.

Exactly! Optimal. Not hard, you can chew, but not sticky.
Cook with pleasure

I've already been there! Took note!

Linadoc, thanks for the recipe! Saved 2 kg of very unripe pears. After the hurricane, I went to the neighbors for pear leaves, and picked them up. So it was impossible to eat them, but the candied fruits came out wonderful! The pears were not fragrant, and I did not add zucchini.
sweet_blondy
I collected wild pears from abandoned dachas. decided to make candied fruits. for some reason they blushed. but I'm not offended, it's even more interesting)) pleasant duchess-cinnamon taste. though the pear was not edible. too grains are felt. although this pear is not at all edible when fresh. so I'm glad that at least it can be put into candied fruits)
Candied fruits Duchess
thank you very much for the recipe!
Linadoc
And here is beautyaaaaa! Clever girl! With candied fruits you!
sweet_blondy
Linadoc, you have no idea how happy my grandmother is that I take out zucchini from her bags))) we don't even tear small ones - we are waiting for the huge ones to grow and harden))
and at home I and jemiks and candied fruits, beautyaaa!
Granny really thought about removing this bed, but since I need it so, she continues to water))
Linadoc
That's nice that everyone is happy and everything is in business!
