Eleanor, please tell me how you cook potatoes in MultiHotter?
Nothing special. The first time I tried it with young potatoes, and then I also began to make ordinary ones. I peel the potatoes, cut the large one into 4 parts, the small one into two. I put it in a multi-hot pot, pour water so that it is 1.5-2 cm higher than the potatoes, pour a teaspoon of salt, but this is about 1.5 kg of potatoes. If I do less, then I halve the salt. I close the lid, put on the "Cooking" mode, set the time to 25 minutes (this is for the young), for the usual one set it to 35 minutes. And I go about my business. The first time, when they did it at the dacha, we got together in a company, I ran around there with zucchini, salads, men made shish kebab and grilled salmon with a carcass, everything was brought in.
I ran home, drained the water from Hotter, took a piece of butter, 50 grams, and smacked it there, closed the lid, and Hotter is standing in the heating mode, she began to cut the dill very finely. As for cutting dill, you decide for yourself, because I can't eat coarsely chopped fresh herbs, although I really love it, but .... in short, I need to cut the greens very finely. So, when I cut it, I lifted the Hotter lid (I also bought various silicone spatulas on metal handles in Seven Hills - a very convenient thing both in terms of the length of the handle and in the quality of the material). quickly with a spatula I mix the potatoes with the butter, which has already melted, pour the dill and EVERYTHING.
True, the story with the first preparation had a continuation, the frying of barbecue and salmon was delayed, I do not know for what reason, but very male comrades performed sacred acts. And we have two hungry children for the whole company, 15 and 10 years old. moreover, the 10-year-old swallow is small and slender and with food not particularly .... that is, not fond of. After running around they wanted to eat, of course. They were not drawn to the salad, I brought the potatoes. In general, we ended up with one piece at a time, and the children did not eat meat and salmon on the grill, because they had burnt themselves with potatoes and were happy. They sat with us for decency and flew away on their own business, watching the DVD player, since it was night and we were sitting in the garden with torches.
I very often, when we are going home from the dacha, you know, Sunday, a crowd of cars in the direction of Moscow, we usually leave late. So I cook potatoes in Hotter and put them in a container and get behind the wheel. My on the road, who is asleep, who is talking while we arrive, is already closer to one in the morning.
The kettle is always ready instantly, I take out this potato and, if it's a little over an hour on the road, then we eat it lukewarm. If the cork is stretched for two or three hours, then I just throw it into the pan and it becomes slightly crusty.
And at night it is not harmful at all. We don’t get fat, but we satisfy our hunger, drink tea, mostly without sugar, and begin all sorts of bath procedures, with laundry together. In the morning we get up to work, however, like somnabula.

Thank you, today I will definitely try to cook potatoes.
And my MultiHotter is also a redhead, a kind of cheerful
Eleanor
Yes, even in Hotter I cook soup sometimes, when there is absolutely no time to celebrate. But I cook it slightly the other way around.
first I put the grated carrot and onion in a saucepan, in the "Fry" mode I fry it all in sunflower oil. Then I put all the vegetables I need for the soup: potatoes, cabbage, beets, in general, everything, everything, everything. Except for meat, because we don't really eat meat soups. I pour water as much as I need, somewhere at the top mark in a saucepan, it turns out 4 liters. I close it all, put the "Cooking" mode on, set it for 60 minutes and leave.if I get started with business, it's even better, it is heated, I come back, I open the lid, salt, spices, another five minutes for "Cooking" and that's it - the soup is ready. I pour the first portion straight from there with a ladle. Then, when it cools down, I drag it into the refrigerator right in this saucepan, attaching the lid on top. I have such a plastic one, I don't remember already, maybe it came in the kit. And then I heat this soup in the micr in portions and that's it ..
In general, you can do whatever you want. It takes a long time to extinguish. Or combine the frying and stewing mode, because in Hotter it is closer to the slow-cooker one, that is, it is long, at least 4-5 hours. I usually put eggplants at night.

Hello girls !!! I here became interested in your correspondence and decided to ask you ... how much does a Multichotter cost in Russia and is it really possible to buy it ??? I just can't wait for my little cartoon ... today a car has already arrived (the carrier, while it unloads, it will be evening, and tomorrow they won't work), I'm already salivating ... only on Monday I can pick it up at work .. ... I also read about the airfryer, I think Elena Bo gave links, the weight is also cool, so it's still better ...... Multi-hotter or airfryer ??? T.K.the little cartoon is already almost on the jump, then I want a big saucepan more ..... I only got a small one, because it demolishes the towers from the seller, (n) they started selling multi for 4.5 liters at crazy prices , I want to buy, but they are not, so I bought even a small one. And I started looking through Temko about UNIT and Landlife ........ What is your capacity in your units?
The airfryer would be cool for me ... but we don't sell this
larimari
Svetik_, MultiHotter in St. Petersburg now costs 4990 and it is real to buy it, it is in every store of the "Seven Hills" chain (this is Hotter's brand trade), it has two pots in a set for 4 and 4.5 liters, a basket for steaming , blanching and deep frying, wire rack, tongs for removing wire rack and basket, and of course a measuring cup.

Here is Hotter's website in Ukraine: 🔗, they definitely sell aero grills, but you have to ask about MultiHotters.
Svetik_
larimari thanks ... tempting ... but I need pans ... so multi-hunter ???
larimari
Svetik_, look here 🔗, everything is written in detail about the MultiHotter, there is even a page with recipes.
Svetik_
and the saucepan goes alone ??? I didn't find about her there
Gypsy
download the instructions, there everything is detailed and with pictures, like two pots.
larimari
Yes, two saucepans included !!!
Svetik_
Yes, I looked that there are two in the instructions, but we don't have a cool thing ... but where to get it ???
Ver @
We bought a Hotter cartoon, there is also no book with recipes.
Girls who have it, can you scan it?
We would be very grateful !!
Svetik_
Ver @ where are you from ?? Where, what was bought and what is the price ??
larimari
Right here 🔗 many different recipes for MultiHotter
Ver @
Svetik_ I'm from Samara, I bought a MULTIhotter HX-200-1 orange.
Yesterday we tested it, fried fries.
I liked that the lid is transparent, you can watch the process.
Time can be added or added, in my opinion this is also a plus.
Little who loves to cook.

There really are 2 cups, there is also an additional grate, a deep-fat basket, a holder for it, a device for removing pots, a measuring cup - I did not understand why

I'll write you drugs where and for how much ..

larimari yes was on this link. And here I read, the girls were writing a book with recipes, but they didn't give us anything.
larimari
The recipe book is loudly said, there was a small brochure, there are many more recipes for the link given by me.
Ver @
larimari Well, I really thought there should be a 3-volume book of recipes
Ver @
Girls, please tell me how you cook rice porridge in Hotter.
Vesna_prichla
Dear forum users!
I'm suffering - MultiHOTTER and Panasonic Multicooker? Probably all the same MultiHOTTER.A child cannot live without fries. Tell me there is no delayed start on it, but is there on Panasonic? Really? Does the oven really fail? There are no baking recipes.
larimari
There really is no delayed start in MultiHotter, and there are no baked goods in it either.
Only for French fries, the MultiHotter is still too big - the pots are more than 4 liters in volume. Maybe it's better to buy a Panasonic and a small deep fryer ?! And french fries are harmful ...
Ver @
I read, read the instructions, understood. that there is still a delayed start.
Or is it only on 1 mode "Porridge / rice"?
larimari
There is no start delay. The "Rice / porridge" program is the only automatic one, immediately after pressing the button, the program starts (it is 25 minutes long). The "timer" button exists to increase / decrease the cooking time in other modes.
Ver @
Here I read:
Delay in the start of the rice cooking program (also suitable for cooking dishes in pots, stews or soups)
Using the buttons (picture with buttons) set the time after which it is necessary to start cooking, for example, if you set 8-00, the program will start after 8 hours.
What is this?
larimari
I also read this - it is not clear. It remains to be verified only empirically. In the evening I will experiment ...
Ver @
Yes, I too
I'll have to poke it.
larimari Are you happy with the saucepan yourself?
I have just recently, I only master porridge.
larimari
I'm happy, but I also have a little Panasonic cartoon.
In MultiHotter I cook when I need a lot, or when I cook rice and buckwheat for a side dish, I like it more than in Panasonic. Yes, and frying in MultiHotter is more convenient - the temperature is higher, and therefore it turns out faster ... Well, I again hit the comparison ...:
Ver @
That's right!
Since there is something to compare, it is necessary to compare!
I'm looking at Panasonic too, my dear.
But who knows, maybe someday I'll buy it too.
Vesna_prichla
Oh! There are no MultiHOTTERs in the city. I bought Panasonic. The SR TMR 18 model seems to be for 5900. Where to start?

I am mastering. Yesterday we came home from work with her. They wanted to cook some quick dumplings in it. The recipe was "random". Fry on one side, then half of the water and cook on the Pilaf mode. Not bad, but a bit greasy for me because of the oil. And it would be faster.
In the morning, using the timer, I ordered oatmeal. Really done by half. I didn’t pour all the milk, but more water. I like water better. It turned out the liquid on top, I stirred everything, the oils go there, on heating for 3 minutes. Done. I liked that.
Now there is a biscuit in it. I'm at work, the child will come and say - what is there.
And all the same, I'm a little sorry that I didn't buy the MultiHOTTER. And since we have a topic - a comparison of MultiHOTTER and Multicooker, I'll tell you. read reviews about MultiHOTTER. Say, he does not have a network button, the window fogs up, so in Panasonic this is not at all. I sit and think about how to cook potatoes in it. No cooking mode, pilaf or stewing? I couldn't find a simple recipe.

So that's why there is no, because for such things as a slow cooker, a deep fryer and a hotter window, this is a show-off, it really fogs up. How I was eager to have a deep fryer with a window, in the end, after the very first cooking, I realized that I would never see anything in it! So why do it?

You can steam potatoes in a steam basket, or you can turn on the Steam cooking programs, but cook not in the basket, but in the water itself. Time to set approximately - all the same, the countdown will begin after boiling water.

And it is better not to leave the biscuit for a long time after cooking - it will soak. It must be pulled out 10-15 minutes after the signal.
Ver @
I'm quite happy with Hotter.
Perhaps later I will buy a little Panasonic, so far there is nothing to compare with.
An ideal device "for all diseases" as they say does not exist.
Vesna_prichla
The biscuit is not soaked, Thanks, it's okay. But the usual crust from above did not work. Is this how it should be? I don't like potatoes cooked in a double boiler - they are dry. I'll try it right in the water.
Now I threw in the roast. I already understood that frying should be done for Baking. Then I put everything that I thought of, and put out for 3 hours. I'll tell you what happened.
Also - I am very interested to find out from the happy owners of these two devices, does the MultiHOTTER's lid really hold on somehow? Or opens? I read this in the review.

Yes, this is how it should be, after all, although there is a heating element in the lid, it is weak so that the lid does not melt. In order for the crust to be on top, everything is simply turned upside down.
Ver @
Vesna_prichla What position of the lid do you mean? Open or closed?
I looked in a Panasonic store, they have a different closing mechanism, it seemed to me more ergonomic. The button seems to be made right under the arm.
In Hotter, here in my open state the lid is fixed in an upright position well (I also read in the reviews that the fixation is weak, it seems like it will close). I can fix it strictly vertically.
When closing, I came to the conclusion that it was necessary to track the position of the saucepan inside - sometimes it does not rise evenly.
When I’m not cooking in a cartoon, I don’t close it, the lid is fixed at about 45 degrees.

And yet, there is a delay in the start in MultiHotter, though only in the "Rice / porridge" mode. First you need to set the delay start time and only then press the "Rice" button. After the end of the delay time, the cooking program starts.
Svetik_
Girls ... I have a little Panasonic cartoon, but I want a Multichotter ... but we don't have it, I wash my face with a tear, well, the truth is not so acute, but still ..... I would really like to buy, maybe we will soon have at affordable prices, otherwise if this happens, as with cartoons ... then it's just kapets ... prices, damn it will not add up
Vesna_prichla
In Panasonik, the delayed start is also only for Porridge / Rice / Buckwheat. It doesn't work on others. It's a pity to order a cupcake by morning!
My roast was stewed for 5 hours until it was cooked. True, I had beans there, potatoes and sauerkraut, among other things. I understand it was hard to deal with everything.
Ver @
Breakfast cupcake - bake mono in a bread machine

I absolutely disagree. In Panasonic, the delayed start both on the "Pilaf" mode, and on the "Milk porridge" mode - everything turns out EXCELLENT.
Vesna_prichla
What do you disagree with? There is a delayed start only in three modes: buckwheat, pilaf, porridge. In other modes, it simply does not exist.

Girls, tell me please!

I choose a multicooker ..... Initially but I was leaning towards a multi-cooker pressure cooker (unit), but my husband is categorically against it, because he is afraid for materials, such as China, he read about the fact that the seal smells there, he says it is very dangerous. So I began to choose between Hotter and Panasonic. I tend to the first, as I read in comparisons that it scratches less (internal saucepan) and there are two of them .......... which is nice ........ it is also written on the site that it implements the function pressure cooker ......... although it is not clear how, like there is no valve, but the owner of both items noticed that the smell does not come out of the hotter, I wonder how? Also, is it possible to cook rice for sushi in Hotter? And your personal feelings, in terms of quality, which saucepan is better? (materials of the saucepan itself)
Waiting for your answers, very, very !!!
Ver @
I only have a Hotter. Panasonic is not.
You can cook rice in it, although I don't make sushi yet, so I can't say how rice is specially prepared for them.
We looked at the Panasonic store.
Here I like the latch more, it is somehow more ergonomic.
In general, I'm happy with Hotter. You can fry, you can vary the time. Especially I really like the opportunity to add and decrease the cooking time.
Hairpin
Um ... deep-fried ... for those who love fried ... two saucepans ...
Ver @
My husband loves fried. French fries for example.
It is better to make it at home than to eat a thread somewhere.
Still at home I am confident in the quality of the oil, in the number of times it is used.
Well, I think so.
Of course, two pots are not needed at the same time, it seems, but sometimes they come in handy.
Hairpin
Owners of multhotters! How much oil do you need for French fries? A 4-liter saucepan may contain two liters ...
tatulja12
Shpilechka, explain as a special: a multi-hotter (in my opinion) is a pressure cooker, and a multi-cooker - a Panasonic is more suitable for a slow cooker. Is that so or not?
Ver @
A liter of oil, for fries.
Can be filtered and used again, as written in the instructions.
Hairpin
Tatulya12, I explain as a "specialist" on mulhotters, who has never seen them before !!!

Multicooker in extinguishing mode close to a slow cooker. The slow cooker lacks baking, pilaf, porridge and rice functions. More precisely, a slow cooker generally has one function, called, works!

A multichotter (in my opinion) is closer to a deep fryer, waffle iron (in the sense of a crispy crust) and a multicooker in Baking and Steam modes.

And the pressure cooker itself ...

Vera! Thanks for the answer!!!
