Radushka, only with an apple leaf will be! He himself has some friendly scent of sour green apples when defrosting)) The only thing that confuses me is that I will have to pass the rose petals through the freezer ... According to the recipe, this is nonsense)))
Radushka
Yuri K, come on! Everything will be fine! I twisted a trial batch (from only the petals of NON-SMELLING roses)! Frozen. Everything turned out great! By the way, I don't like it when rags float in tea! And the pink petals are exactly shaggy and become!
Yuri K
Radushka, got it! )))) So I will ferment according to the scheme after freezing and further
ANGELINA BLACKmore
Please tell me at what temperature to dry rose petals for decorating tea (petals are only 50 grams) And I collected peonies, I also want to dry them for decorating tea.

steamed raspberries with fermented petals
Radushka, sorry for the "braking" .... please tell me in detail how THIS is.
I've been picking roses for two weeks now, in a bag, and put them in the freezer.
What is more expedient to do with them next. I would like to make friends with raspberries.
Radushka
ANGELINA BLACKmore, NatashaThe petals were twisted and fermented for 2 hours. Preliminarily I looked when my raspberries were finished. I'm hovering in a slow cooker, so it's easy to control. After the end of the raspberry cycle, twisted the raspberry leaves, mixed with the previously twisted already fermented rose petals and twisted again on a fine wire rack. Put it to dry in the dryer. All.
ANGELINA BLACKmore
Can you scroll frozen petals? Raspberries to soar not sun-dried?
Radushka
ANGELINA BLACKmore, well, I was scrolling fresh petals. Although, I think the ice cream will be no worse. And for a guy, I don't wither anything. Although, the withered ones are better tamped and they fit more into the multi pan. I tamp it into a regular "trash" polyethylene bag (until I bought anything else), tie it tightly on a knot, put it in a multi saucepan, pierce a lot of holes on top with a knitting needle, put a flat plate (so that the bag does not close the valve) and steam with an open valve
ANGELINA BLACKmore
Good. So I will. Thank you, Radushka.

Radushka, but just can't put leaves in the multican? I just don't understand the meaning of the package? Why is he in the cartoon at all?
Today I collected raspberries, currants and an apple tree, I am dried. Tomorrow I will soar, so I started thinking about the technological side of the issue.
ANGELINA BLACKmore
And I disobeyed and put the raw materials in the multicooker bowl, without a package, just like that)) They fizzled out normally. At least I didn't see anything criminal according to the results of the trial. Although I'm also interested in knowing what the package is about.
Natalo4-ka
Natasha, at what temperature did you soar?
I also think that the package is useless, only I haven't decided on the temperature yet.

The raspberry leaf was hovering on the program "The languor", there 70 +/- 2 * C - 6 hours. Then combined with fermented granules of rose petals.

In a bag, I can tamp much more leaves than without a bag

Thank you for your consultation.
Now everything is clear. It turned out that this was of no use to me - the leaves were a little tormented.

It's hot in my kitchen, so I fermented for 4 hours
Radushka, thank you for sharing your delicious experience in such detail! It's not hot here now and there are no greenhouses, but how to figure out how much time to give the petals for fermentation - I don't know and I can't find anything in the subject.

Tell me, pliz, what should you focus on - to enhance the smell, as in leaf fermentation?

And another question - what can be used to replace the drying on the drier tray? Maybe open the oven wide open to the smallest fire? I'd like to steam the raspberries, but there is no multicooker. If you have seen any other recipe for steaming leaves without a multicooker - share a link, please!
So far, only the Zacharias method has come out in this direction - I will definitely try, but you talked so contagiously about steamed tea! I think before inventing your own - maybe someone will tell you?
Radushka
Tibulus, well, the multicooker can be "simulated". A water bath will help you! Only it is necessary that the pot of water does not boil, but languishes quietly
Tibulus
Radushka, all clear. I don’t venture to use this method yet - there is enough "water bath" in the atmosphere. Let's stay with the classics.

Time of flowering roses, time of collecting their petals and making tea. Every year you expect it like a miracle ... because you touch the most delightful and enchanting action. The word work here is simply inappropriate for me personally .. it is really from the category of magical beauty and aroma ... collecting petals, withering them for two days (this year cold nights, the sun is not hot, you have to wither), freezing the whole weight or half / part frozen, and part / half dried then twisting, fermentation, again twisting, drying in the oven and then dry fermentation in a pillowcase. And all this time there is a divine aroma in the house ... like in Paradise. I will share with you some photos of petals withering. I collect two of the largest packages from the ATB supermarket of rose petals every other day, and I wither them for 2 days. The result is 1900-1400 g of dried petals. In the photo there is a 2-bed bed with a layer of petals of 10-12 cm when poured from packages.
Already in dry fermentation there are 3 teas, from 1990 dried up yield 540g, from 1500g dried petals yield 441g, from 1360g dried petals, yield 329g of finished tea. I'm not boasting, but describing that the yield of finished tea from rose petals is much less than from leaves. If you do it mono.
All only the most delicious tea !!!

I also got to pink mono. Petals - how many have turned out while fermented. Spun the petals after the freezer - the first defrost. I was afraid for the pellets, so I twisted the slightly frozen ones. The granules turned out well after the 1st scroll. Only 2 times. The smell is not stunned and thick, but there is also a pleasant one, given the non-aromatic flowers. Taking into account the frostbite, I decided to ferment for 3 hours. I'll fry half of it for 100 - I feel sorry for the petals, although I don't have a lot of them. Very beautiful color before drying. I have to think about where else to get petals
Fermented rose petal tea
About weight - it's even embarrassing to write - after the previous photos - I have 380g in the source
ANGELINA BLACKmore
I collected roses from my kusov in batches, in small bags and threw them into the freezer. Then I pulled out all these bags, it turned out a lot)))

This is the scope! What kind of rose garden do you collect them in ?! I can only dream of this ...
Borkovna
Natalyushka, in my small front yard-yard I collect. 9 large lashes on supports, plus 22 bush (in the courtyard and behind the house). I often show photos of my roses in the Tea Gazebo, especially during flowering and in winter, of course, to admire the beauty.

Hello everyone! Last year I did not do tea due to various circumstances. And in this I plan to make up)
Today I collected a bowl of petals from a climbing rose, while I put it in the freezer. While she was picking the petals, I thought if it was possible to do something from the cups themselves, or just to throw it away? While I put it in the freezer too

LenaThanks for the rose petals idea! Collected a five-liter bucket. Scrolled in a meat grinder with large holes. Fermented for 5 hours. It's hot in the kitchen now. I don't have a dryer. Then Hotter worked. It turned out just for two pallets. According to the recipe for Ivan-tea: 15 minutes frying at 120 medium speed, after 10 minutes stir. Then 30 minutes dried at 95 degrees average speed. Stirred after 10 minutes. Dried until cooked at 65 degrees average speed. About an hour. Stir occasionally.
It turned out to be half a coffee jar. The smell was very thick. And so it remained. It will stand in a jar for another week. Then I'll brew - I will report
