Maybe there really is such a unit
And what, what is such an aggregate? What's the point of him? The principle of operation of the potato peeler is the same as that of all the other small plastic ones listed here. Pour in water, clean it somehow, pour water again, wash the vegetables separately, wash the potato peeler itself, pick your eyes. This is all, as they say, NOT THAT. And we can cut this potato (carrot) anywhere and as we please. Thanks to this forum, each vegetable cutter for every taste. I am with dopleta, I completely agree. I do not believe. The main thing is that you can throw in any potatoes, regardless of their size and washing, and get a high-quality peeled without unnecessary movements.

And I am very pleased with my Aresa, while 4 batches of 2 minutes were peeled, I managed to cut them quite a bit, transfer sauerkraut to cans, scold vegetables on a vegetable peeler on borscht and all this playfully, since the toilet is close where I pour after peeled potatoes water. With my hands, I would have done it much longer and I certainly did not get pleasure

In general, here's what I thought of - any automatic cleaning of vegetables is very convenient, so they all, in one way or another, probably please their owners. The difference between "Toshi" as well as professional equipment is that, in addition to direct cleaning, they also automate the process of washing vegetables, removing waste and reduce the process of washing the unit itself to a simple rinsing with water. It's worth a lot, even if you don't clean them every day! All the time, I somehow stopped morally before cooking something from beets, carrots, potatoes. And with Tosha - threw unwashed vegetables - got clean, but shaggy)) and all that remains is to remove the bumps and eyes.

In fairness, I must say that yes, the unit is really not very pretty, but if you are an esthete, then you can hide it, for example, under a sink (Thank you, radyga!), it's pretty compact. And also the price is 5 thousand +. On the one hand, Ares' household baby (Clathronic, Hilton) costs only 1.5-2 thousand +, on the other hand, there is professional equipment for sale 20-60 thousand + (the most not expensive, but huge and terrible in appearance, you can take from 20 thousand +, and beautiful compact Italians will cost from 40 thousand +)

I made up my mind! I called to ask a few questions and to place an order for Tosha. Vladimir Sidorov told me that at the moment they had an unexpected excitement and orders are now accepted no earlier than mid-late January. By the way, he turned out to be a very nice person (as they wrote that with a guarantee of a problem, that he did not get in touch, so I doubted that the amount was not small and I really only waited for an answer to the mail once and completely doubted, if not for advice to call (Thank you, Tisel!), I probably wouldn't have called. He answered the phone immediately and explained everything and even apologized for the delay).

Resume - in spite of the fact that the new assistant will not appear as quickly as desired, I was pleased with the increased demand for "Tosha" because they are made here and it is not an impersonal LLC that makes them, but a real simple person living in Naberezhnye Chelny, why me it seemed very touching. Although you won't check it yet ..

Thank you again, girls, you helped me a lot! Vei, SSvetik, Shelena, Tisel, kVipoint, and a separate Summerwine )) for a very apt message

I think my husband will be against the second husband, and I'll cut out my eyes somehow.
Now I will unsubscribe after the first experiments. I promise the photos, which helped me a lot in making my choice.
Asya Klyachina
Mere, and what did they tell you about the guarantee? The only thing that stops me is that if it breaks down, then they will be sent back by the transport company. Or how ?
Mere
Asya Klyachina, I received an answer to the mail:
Quote: Mere
4. 12 months warranty.
5. For a guarantee - Contact us.
However, they did not answer me for a second letter asking how much it costs (delivery there and back), and when I called, the question somehow disappeared by itself, because they do not accept orders now. The peeler is made and repaired in Naberezhnye Chelny, that is, under the guarantee it will need to be delivered there (with the same Autotrading, someone wrote that it costs 290 rubles), but the manufacturer is unlikely to undertake these costs, I do it strongly I don’t count .. It seems to me that this unit is easier to repair on the spot, especially since there really is nothing special to break down - a very simple design.

Maybe there is someone who is just as sick and interested in professional peelers - they finally answered me from the company Sirman:

Thank you for your inquiry, please contact our distributor in Moscow, Russian Project tel. + 7-495-2340424 to get an offer.

I found them on the net - this is the Russian Project company. What made me happy - they even have components, but the price certainly didn't please ... cut the euro in half, somebody, eh? I'm not honest for a long time. Here's a description of the peeler from their website:

Finally, I repaired the Hilton KS 3219 potato peeler. Honestly, from an engineering point of view, I wonder how it was possible to put the model into production with such flaws !!! Not only is the hexagonal stem nozzle for a grater useless, but the stem itself turns in a plastic gear. It also flows under the top cover along the safety strip directly to the microswitch (the protective rubber gasket is useless). I had to redo and strengthen everything, which is a shame, because the manufacturer could easily do it.
If anyone is interested, I will describe in detail the repair procedure - you do not need to grind new parts (you need straight hands).
After revision the device justified its purpose. True, he does not peel carrots (as many write), but peels them to an oval state.
Vei
dingo47, well, if it's not very difficult, then describe it.
dingo47
ok, first in words, then I'll try to attach a photo.
1. The simplest.Under the top cover there is a protrusion of a lever - a safety catch, which with its other end rests on a world switch in the lower section of the potato peeler. In my device, water got on this microswitch (glass on the lever when peeling potatoes), as a result, during operation, a characteristic crackling was heard, and the engine did not work at full power (the wet switch increased the resistance). Having studied the design in detail, I came to the conclusion that even if I glue the rubber gasket, there are still holes on the side through which water will enter the lower section.
Therefore, we unscrew the sidewall, remove the plastic lever, glue all the extra holes both in the lower section and in the upper one under the transparent cover. I used hot melt glue and pieces of plastic. We remove the microswitch and replace it with a straight wire, I think it is not needed.
dingo47
2. If the pulley (iron axle-rod) turns in the plastic gear wheel. It is necessary to remove the pulley, drill it perpendicular to the axis (I used a 2 mm drill and a hand drill at low speeds - the pulley has soft metal). I inserted an ordinary nail into the resulting hole, a cap and bit the sharp end. In the plastic gear, it is necessary to cut "cavities" under the protruding ends of the nail. Then grease the pulley with glue (preferably epoxy, but you can also use superglue) and insert the pulley into place in the gear.
When I was repairing my machine, I decided to melt the pulley with a soldering iron - don't do that !!! - I got a little led, and the result was a small "eight"
dingo47
3. If the hexagonal trowel is turned. First, you need to reinforce the attachment in the place where it is put on the metal pulley axle. To do this, put a piece of the tube on the bottom of the nozzle (most likely it is cracked). I used a 2 cm piece of metal-plastic water pipe for "American" (not for soldering), in my opinion the inner diameter is 16 mm (check with a caliper). This reinforcing ring adheres very tightly, if desired, it can be additionally planted with glue.
Further, the already reinforced nozzle must be put on the axle and the assembled structure must be carefully drilled through. Insert a rod of a suitable diameter into the resulting hole (again, you can use a nail).
You can use glue to fix it, but DO NOT FORGET - the gear with the shaft must be returned to its place in the plastic box, only then fix (glue) the fixing rod in the hexagonal nozzle.
To complicate things a little, cut a thread in the drilled hole and screw in the corresponding screw.
dingo47
That is, for the repair you need: glue (hot glue + epoxy or superglue), a drill, a 2 mm drill and nails / rods corresponding to the diameter, perhaps a thread tap for M2.5 and a screw, you can try M3.
And of course, straight arms.
If you need photos, write.
After repair, the device hums merrily and pleases with the acceleration of the cleaning process. Although after looking at the current prices, I understand that it is probably easier to buy large potatoes and peel them by hand.
Vei
dingo47, we are waiting for a photo, otherwise it is difficult for us girls to think without them)))

These are the holes that need to be sealed with hot melt glue so that water from the tank does not flow into the lower compartment (despite the fact that the hole is under the lid at the top of the tank, a lot of water flows through it during the centrifuge!)

This is the repair of the scrolling of the axle in the gear.
I remind you - you do not need to fuse the axle with a soldering iron, you need to cut grooves under the pin-stud, and put the axle itself with the pin on glue (superglue, epoxy)

If the part is "combed" inside, you need to drill the axle-shaft and insert the pin. The photo shows an inserted M3 screw.
When disassembling, I found out that I had left the screw head in vain, it needs to be completely "hidden" flush. As a result of the miscalculation, the screw head combed out the groove (fortunately shallow):

As you can see, the repair does not require complex turning work and scarce materials. I think that other parts of the potato peeler are unlikely to break (well, unless they break or crack when dropped)
Successful repairs

I don't know how it is inside, but outwardly it is almost a clone of my smiley. I'm still alive (a year on regular peeling of medium-sized potatoes).
Witesse is somehow inhumane.
Tatoshenka
prubul, I have one. I have been using it for about a year. In the season of young potatoes, she lived on the table. Cleans quickly 2-3 minutes 1kg of potatoes. The first time I set it for 5 minutes. so she peeled it off very hard. True, she did not leave one eye on the potato. I bought it for 2 thousand. with a ponytail. Love the greenery dryer. I also use it for berries and fries.

Thanks for the tip, but the price is really big. Does it take up a lot of space?

prubul,
In fact yes. Like a food processor. I have a redmond, if you put them next to the smiley, the same size. I put the potato peeler in the closet when I don't need it.

Yeah,: girl_red: all the cabinets are full, the smokehouse on the windowsill, the pressure cooker, the airfryer, the bread maker on the tables. : girl-q: The husband has already said not the kitchen, but the warehouse. : mad: But the thing is necessary. We are big potato lovers
cerg8638
Hello everyone, potato lovers. Regarding Tosh's potato peeler, I can say the following: the activeo exploited almost every day, for 2 years, it happened 1.5 buckets per evening.
Bottom line: the belt stretched out and does not peel more than 3 potatoes and began to crumble, forming a plate from the side walls (the tape peels off and as a result, when the potato hits, the abrasive stone crumbles), which rotates while holding.
In general, I am satisfied, I will change the abrasive tapes to stainless steel tapes with perforation like a grater plate over time too.

Serge, you yourself will change, you must be rukasty? But somehow 2 years of operation will not be enough.
mur_myau
Hmm ...
And my smiley is over two years old. While the flight is normal. Only not one and a half buckets, of course, but 800 g each and in two passes. I'm looking forward to the season of young potatoes. I will drive every day.
Vei
if serge says, as it is, then this is a good result. In any case, Tosha not only peels young potatoes. by the way cerg8638, and other vegetables (carrots and beets) tried to peel in it, what are your impressions?
cerg8638
Peels beets like potatoes. you just need to cut the root off the upper part of the beet tuber, otherwise while he cleans it off the beet half will remain. carrots to peel have to be cut into short stacks of 5-7 cm. I will add to the last message that Tosha worked 10 out of 10 for his entire resource. By the way, they bought it over the Internet, in my opinion, from Tatarstan, they took it for three weeks. They paid by cash on delivery and took 2 pieces at once, everything came.
when connecting both machines, the first time the water did not go on both. Reason: the inlet valves for water were skewed in an unknown way; they were corrected by installing them on their meta with a simple push (though they had to remove the bottom). how I will change tapes I will make a photo report. The wife does not allow to turn off the nausea yet.

Citizens, tell me where in Ukraine you can buy a "Tosha" vegetable peeler? Are there dealers who sell such devices with us?

mur_myau
Gadgetochca,
There is a carousel inside for drying herbs. Here in it I dry grapes.
If you remove the basket inside, it will peel the potatoes.
cerg8638
And then came the day of Toshka's repair, disassembled it in general, the trouble and only. I will post the photo as I will repair it
Asya Klyachina
serge, it will be interesting to know. Here's something that kept me from buying this potato peeler, some kind of semi-handicraft production. If anything, then I have no one to fix it. Such a necessary machine in everyday life, and at an adequate price you cannot buy a high-quality one so that it can be connected to water and peel potatoes of any size. And almost every day you cook and fry potatoes.
cerg8638
My mother-in-law has the same one, it still works great, we just used our own 10 times more, so the resource ended earlier, and there is nothing difficult in repairing (well, at least for me)

It is worth taking with a reservation, if the sewage system is not central, then you have to put a sieve in the sink under the waste drain, otherwise the pipes quickly become clogged, and if the sewage system is central, you can bring it directly to the pipes, there a 30 mm standard drain pipe is inserted.
