During cooking, food is not cooked for a long time. The food is cooked using steam pressure. Thus,> 60% of vitamins,> 90% of amino acids are preserved, and minerals are not destroyed and the food retains its natural taste. The addition of salt and other spices can be reduced. The prepared dishes are tasty and easy to digest.

The Steba multicooker-pressure cooker reduces cooking time by up to 70% (0.7 bar overpressure, resulting in a higher cooking temperature).

The Steba multicooker-pressure cooker retains vitamins and minerals in food (0.3 bar overpressure, which results in a lower cooking temperature, but not less than 100 ° C)

9 standard programs: SOUP, ROASTING, MEAT, FISH, STEAM COOKING, VEGETABLES, Porridge, STEAMING +, HEATING. At will or depending on food - steam pressure, cooking time and temperature can be changed.

Virgo, advise. Now Ozone seduces with the old model for 4990. Is it worth the new one to wait (and the price is unknown?) Or to buy the old one for this price?
Masinen
Steba gave me a Steba DD2 pressure cooker for testing.
I honestly used it almost all summer, and I cooked only in it.
There are some nice changes to the modes that everyone was waiting for and hoping for.

Outwardly, it does not differ from the first model DD1.
And the Steba DD2 package is very good.

When I opened the box, I found a lid for a steel bowl, which is very convenient, if something remains, you can close the lid and put it in the refrigerator.

Everything is packed very securely and soundly, as always)

The steam basket is made of steel, the handles have been changed, which has become much more convenient. the only thing seemed to me a little tight, but I think it will be developed when using.

The bowl is brand new, shiny, steel!

The cups, I put them upside down, and I could not figure out how to pull them out))
And these turned out to be the legs of the stand, and the handle was at the bottom))
Multi-cooker-pressure cooker-slow cooker Steba DD2 / DD2 XL

Well, then I will share my impressions of using the new Shteba.

The main change that was made was the increase in the temperature range in the Simmer mode.
And it turned into languor plus, with a temperature from 80 grams to 150 grams from 1 degree steps.
Heating remained at temperatures between 30 and 80.
Steam mode has also been improved for the better. The temperature has become higher and now you can safely cook with an open valve, or with a closed one, but it will squeak.

The pressure cooker is better and more functional. Now it fully lives up to its name Pressure Cooker-Multicooker-Slow Cooker!

The Simmer plus mode makes it possible to use it as a regular slow cooker and also as a full-fledged slow cooker!

Pots are interesting, especially on their own stand. The only thing - I would not dare to ferment yogurt in them after baking, say, meat in them. Glass is somehow easier to sterilize. But for languor it is very interesting

Yes, with pots, you must immediately decide what you will use them for.
Or for yogurt, so we understand that we need clean glasses for milk. Or already use for cooking in them.
The only thing I don't know is whether they can be sterilized in the microwave or not.

The pots themselves are very pretty and the stands are comfortable

The price of DD2 is still unknown, but it will be more expensive.

What will be more expensive is understandable. It is not clear the ratio of additional useful functions and the increase in cost. But I probably still missed the opportunity to buy it for 4990 (24 hours). Okay, I'll be friends with my old friend Panasonic for now.
Masinen
Anna1957, the usefulness is clearly obvious.
Expansion of the Simmering mode, on which you can safely make baked goods and use it like a normal multicooker.

This is a good advantage of DD2 over DD1 - this range now includes temperatures in the region of 90 ° C
This range now solves all problems: with both simmering and baking, you can cook under pressure, as in a multi-cooker, you can simply cook the same pasta-dumplings with the lid open without boiling wildly, as it was before. I am very happy with the new version.
Manna
Yes, Veechka, now the DD2 can be called a multi-cooker-pressure cooker (it began to combine both the functions of a pressure cooker and the functions of a multi-cooker).
Vei
You know, there is no special need for it here ... For boiling cereals, you just need to observe the proportions, and for vegetable and meat dishes I no longer use modes for boiling. Still, it's better in the oven))

In the end, the excess moisture can be evaporated with the lid open at a temperature of around 100C, now it can be done in Shteba without fear of scorching food.
Manna
Veechka, yes I was joking about touch mode. Not all multicooker has it. I also use the touch mode much less often. I don't even cook cereals on it
Irina.A
An interesting model, I chose everything until I bought the dd1 headquarters, now I cook practically only in it and the appearance of a new model makes me happy, maybe someday I will, but not now, that's for sure.
Masinen
Soup can now be multi-cooked. It turns out that autumn is delicious and rich.
You can also cook real borscht.
Veiwhat do you think Liz?

I'll post a couple of captured experiments later)
Sneg6
S-t, do not plan a 3-4 liter slow cooker? I think it would be very much in demand.
olgea
I'm also really looking forward to dd2, ozone will return the money for the first one and I will wait for the new version.
Shtebovich
Olga, we are planning, but we have been planning for so long that it is hard to believe that this will come true. We also need our plans to coincide with the plans of the Germans. So in the foreseeable future, unfortunately, there will be no 3-4 liters. 6 liters first (Steba DD2 XL)

This is interesting ... will a 6-liter bowl be taller or wider than a 5-liter one?

Save what to do
If I had to choose between DD1 and DD2, I would definitely choose the second one, precisely because of the temperature range. Since the DD2 is already a full-fledged multicooker-pressure cooker, and not just a pressure cooker with advanced capabilities. Unless, of course, the price tag skyrockets
Manna
IRRI, I advise you to immediately buy a bowl with a non-stick coating (stainless steel included)
Masinen
IRRI, yes, take the non-stick bowl right away. Suitable for baking)
IRRI
Thank you, I'll also take with ceramics (they still write that several bowls are needed)
IRRI
Quote: Larssevsk

And on Ozone for 4990 is it with a non-stick bowl as a gift or without a bowl? Has anyone bought it already?
It is written that with a bowl as a gift
Masinen
Let's start)
Biscuit
Teflon bowl from DD1 fits DD2, so it baked in it.
It was very interesting for me to try to bake a biscuit on the Simmer + mode.
But it was necessary to choose the temperature.
The first attempt was to bake at 120 g for 40 minutes.
It turned out to be a lot for the biscuit. It was baked, of course, but it turned out ugly)

The second attempt was at a temperature of 115 grams for 50 minutes.
The 5-egg sponge cake turned out gorgeous !!
Here is such a leaky and airy !!

How I Like The New Yearning
Masinen
Mann Well, I'm talking about too))
And XL is not yet known when it will arrive and go on sale.
The first will be 5 liters.

Well, about the regime, very, very successful! I just used it)
Although I never used a multi-cook in other cartoons, but in Shtebe it turned out to be very successful!

Barbara, congratulations, so you will have a new Shtebochka)
Manna
Quote: Masinen
Although I never used a multi-cook in other cartoons, but in Shtebe it turned out to be very successful!
I don’t want to offend Shteba, but I didn’t use it in others, because I used other modes. And here only this mode gives free rein to fantasy
Masinen
manny, so there is an explanation for this.
The staff was initially provided for milking work under pressure, but I want to have a full-fledged mode that will work without pressure, that's why languor + was very necessary here!
olgea
The pre-order was confirmed to me too.
Manna
The idea was that not all multicooker needs manual modes (other modes quite satisfy everyday needs). But Stebe desperately needs

I'm just wondering ... her step is 1 ° С, but after all, the error of heating elements is on average 2-3 ° С. Mashun, have you checked it, how exactly does it keep the temperature?
Masinen
Checked.
Oscillations are about + \ - 1 degree with a liquid medium. And when baking, the temperature runs on the display. But these are the readings of the temperature sensor, and in the bowl the nominal temperature.
+ \ - 5 degrees.
This does not affect the baking itself, because the time is short, so the temperature runs.
For example, if we put 38 grams on yogurt, then Gteba heats up and then lowers to 38 grams, they equalize the temperature for an hour, then the remaining 5-6 hours will be 38 (+ \ - 1 degree)
Manna
Did you judge this by the readings on the scoreboard? Did you measure the temperature of the liquid yourself with a thermometer?
kloki
wrote to the maximum, answered that they also send Taakoy nice manager to Ukraine! Very intelligibly answers all questions!
irina23
Maria, tell me please, but the heating shutdown did not appear in the new model?
Masinen
irina23, no, it did not appear)
Mannyash, I looked at the scoreboard.
And in DD1 I measured it with a thermometer
Manna
Quote: Masinen
in DD1 measured with a thermometer
That is, the deviation was in fact 1 ° C on average, did I understand correctly?
Manna
Mashun, Thanks for the link. In general, as I said, there are temperature fluctuations of more than 1 ° C, like other heating elements multicooker.
Masinen
Well, yes, the ten ones have a higher error than the induction))
Masinen
Finally, the internet started working for me.
Stewed lamb in a clay pot
I experienced the languor mode, like a slow cooker.
For this I took an earthen pot, specially selected it under the bowl.
I put potatoes, lamb meat, fried onions and carrots on top.
Place the pot in a bowl and pour water over the pot's shoulders.
Included 95 gr 5 hours. 95 g, which is about the same as the High mode in a modle cooker.

The result exceeded all my expectations !!
It turned out the most tender meat with the most tender potatoes !!
I adapted such a pot

I give to languor 5 with a big plus!
Masinen
Linadoc, Lin, not the word super !!
Very tasty and aromatic !!
The main thing is to pick up the pot so that the lid closes.
Linadoc
But right in the bowl, can't you? Maybe try it in ceramics (the same ceramic pot)? Yes, it's time for me to start wanting badly ...
Masinen
There will be a lot in the bowl, I haven’t written about it yet, and you already got ahead of me with your question))
I languished in a Teflon bowl and it came out super.
But here I wanted to try it in a pot, look)
Masinen
Curd casserole with nectarines
500 gr of cottage cheese
Pour kefir on the floor of a multi-glass semolina
3 eggs
1/2 m glass of sugar
Vanilla sugar or extract
Baking powder
I mixed everything together in a mixer.
In a Teflon bowl, lay two strips with a baking paper cross
Pour the curd mixture. Place nectarine slices on top and sprinkle with cornstarch, as nectarines give juice.
Turn on the Simmering mode + 110 g 50 minutes
After finishing, leave on heating until the temperature drops to 80 gr.
We take out the parchment strips carefully on a plate, cut and serve)

Conclusion: the casserole turned out great, the temperature is suitable for curd baking.
The casserole is smooth and fluffy.
When baking, the temperature on the Scoreboard ran from 109 to 120 g
But this is always the case when without liquid.
The very temperature in the bowl was the same as needed for the casserole.
Masinen
Porridge Hercules
A glass of long-boiled oat flakes and three glasses of water.
Salt to taste.
When the porridge is ready, add sugar and butter.
We turn on the Shteba on the Simmering mode + 99 g for 35 minutes. The valve is open.
I was wondering if the porridge would run away by 99 grams or not.
So she didn't even try to escape !!!
The temperature on the Scoreboard was running, maybe these are the sensor readings. If it fell to 98, then Shteba began to warm up and the display showed 101 grams, and then returned to 99 grams.
The porridge turned out to be gorgeous!
The photo shows that the porridge did not want to run anywhere.
I mixed it and then photographed it)

I completely agree with you, the porridge turned out wonderful. I am so ...
kolobashka
Mash, what if you cook it in milk or at least 50/50?
Masinen
Barbara, I do not cook in milk at all.
If it's 50/50, it won't run away. Yes, if it is completely on milk, then it should not escape, because there is no active boiling.
Vei
Mash, porridge is good, only 35 minutes for oatmeal is long, it makes no sense to cook it without pressure. But in milk it should run away at this temperature, for milk not higher than 98C it is necessary even if there is a very precise temperature control. And in what bowl did you cook it, in steel?
Manna
Quote: Vei
for milk not higher than 98C
If rolled oats on milk, at 98 ° C it will definitely "run" It should be less. 98 ° C is for rice or buckwheat. And for chopping and, especially, rolled oats, you need to look, depending on the fat content of milk, 92-96 ° C. Otherwise, you can easily remember the tale about the pot
