squeeze the juice out of everything
And do the augers also squeeze well from solid vegetables and fruits?
I also look at them and don't know what to choose
Evira
MirabelThe solid squeeze out well. I used Mulinex from the augers and now Zelmer. I didn't squeeze on both, except for pineapple. Even the ginger root of the sting. Both are doing it.

In my opinion, with modern SV, the only question is reliability, quality of juice (in the sense of having pulp) and
percentage of juice yield.
Mirabel
Evira, Thank you!
So if you have an auger, can you part with the centrifuge?
Evira
I would not be in a hurry to part right away, because there may be problems with soft fruits (berries, tomatoes, plums, grapes). It really depends on what kind of ShSV you will have.
Iskatel-X
Vika
can I part with the centrifuge?
Forever and ever!
They kill the juice!
During the extraction process, the juice heats up, vitamins die!
One of the main advantages of augers is cold pressing!

In no case! There are many and different ways when this one comes in handy. Fruits are different in juiciness, where sometimes the auger cannot cope.
For example, where the amount of juice is more needed than the amount of cake, centrifugal in this case squeezes out better and more fully

And the presence of vitamins, their safety - none of us have tested this in laboratory conditions, everything is only passed on by word of mouth "from mouth to mouth" and is picked up, since there is the keyword "usefulness"
Mirabel
Iskatel-X, It's a pity to part a little .. when I bought, I had no idea that there are augers, more universal.
Until we use it, but how we buy the auger .. then we will part.
and from all of the above, I realized that horizontal is better than vertical. Right?

Admin, Tanyusha, as always, you are on time! So the centrifuge will remain and will be in business.

horizontal is better than vertical. Right?
Not right!
Each device - for its own tasks!
Horizontal - sharpened for grass, ...
Vertical - ...
Conical - under citrus.

For example, where the amount of juice is more needed than the amount of cake, centrifugal in this case squeezes out better and more fully
Just the opposite.
There are enough comparative reviews on the Internet.
Only, we consider the augers "correct", in the non-budgetary sector.
All centrifugal, by the way, quickly clog.

You may be right, but the quality of juices in ShSV speaks for itself. At the very least, it does not exfoliate like in a centrifuge, and its color is natural.

Each device is tailored to its needs!

Here, these are the keywords!
And until this happens, it is difficult to understand "which is better and which is more necessary"

I always trust only expertise, especially when such statements are made, only laboratory analysis for the quantity and quality of juice which is much more accurate than all of our personal statements.
Personally, I did not feel a better squeezing of fruits, compared to centrifugal ones, and there is much more cake, in which the juice remains large. I expected more from the auger.
Evira
Admin, what kind of screw do you have?
Mirabel
So you need 2 augers ??? !!! Oooo nooo
We do not drive juices from grass, we blender them sometimes .. So the vertical will probably work too?

almost any more or less decent auger
now we don't have very cheap ones
my endever cost 4000r, now 7000 - it was in the near-middle price category

I liked the omega and the single screw is very good

but I would not give up on centrifuges, for hard vegetables / fruits they are very good, especially when necessary lot juice at once
and less pulp in them leaves in juice and the juice is squeezed out faster
and for one or two glasses - the screw, of course, preserves vitamins more
Mirabel
Omega is so expensive.
we begin to appear even up to 100 euros, but there is no way to know in advance how they will work.
Irgata
by the way, after my current not expensive centrifuge, I sometimes pass the cake through the auger - and I get another portion of thick juice, almost puree

than?
if you mean - cake, then they are not intended for berries-tomatoes, and solid vegetables and fruits are processed on centrifuges in bags - personal experience, not from the Internet

as well as berries, tomatoes are screwed with my vertical stick, too, with buckets

Posted on Friday 20 May 2016 10:15 PM

I have a centrifuge - both the Soviet one and the current one, a vertical auger and a horizontal small one = there is something to compare with by yourself

Which one is better for tomatoes, berries and soft fruits?

No need for 2 augers, in principle, the verticals are too tight, but much depends on the model. For example, Moulinex squeezes tomatoes just disgusting. You squeeze a glass of juice normally, then the skins stick to the sieve and that's it, then the juice goes into the cake. And Zelmer shakes without problems.

Tatyana, and you seem to have bought a Oursson juicer? How did you like it in your work? And then I look closely at her, but I would like to know the opinion of those who really used it.
Irgata

not very budgetary, when I chose my auger, Oursson cost 2 times more than Endever, and the equipment was the same, only without a drip cap

the auger creaks - large pieces of hard apples and carrots are poking, the auger asks for smaller pieces - the thinner they are, the more juice will be squeezed out and the unit is easier to work

otherwise buy not a cheap machine and be too lazy to grind vegetables / fruits to show what kind of big pieces she grinds - to nothing, the principle of operation of the auger is different - it grinds - bites off the pieces with a screw (like a meat grinder), and does not wear out like a centrifugal one, therefore - less squeezed out of large pieces and juice

and she does not have a cutting knife in the receiver, like many auger juicers
and how many pieces of apples he has left around the auger after spinning - oh, poor machine
puts a lot into the receiver at once - and the machine is not in a hurry to the auger - hurry up, you will get less juice

uncle made a pretty decent juicer anti-advertising with his wrong actions

lured this medium juicer with twin screw monsters like Angel Juicer

and he does not rinse the juicer after work, pouring water into it 2-3 times - and the squeezing bowl will be completely clean and the sieve too

Julia, I used the juicer only a couple of times, I can't say anything bad yet
Household chores in the kitchen stuck, I'll be free - I'll take care of all the bells and whistles at once, now there is simply no desire and the possibility

Girls! Do all augers can make ice cream like Yonanas does.
We have next week in Lidl at nice prices and ala Yonanas and vertical augers. Should I take everything or just use a screw?
Alycha
If the screw comes with a special thing for ice cream, then Yonanas is not needed. I had Yonanas and now I bought a screw with plastic for ice cream, I like it even better
Mirabel
EllaWhat kind of thing should it be?
Alycha
Separate plastic surbet attachment (not mesh). She just does not happen in all augers.

Ell, is that what it's called - a sorbet pad?
Alycha
Yes. She's all plastic with no holes

I am reporting on Omega 707.
I use it for a week. Appearance - everything is like on casters, but the electric cord annoyed me. For some reason, it does not come out from behind the SV, but from below. It turns out that the back of the SV is on the cord. However, this does not interfere with work.
So far, I got everything I wanted from SV. And I wanted juice. The choice of fresh vegetables and fruits is still small, so they pressed from what was. I don't squeeze juice from greenhouse products.

Greens (spinach, beet tops, lettuce, rucola, parsley, mint) - from 181 gr. greens turned out to be 134 gr. juice.
Juice has a little pulp, but the pulp seems to be flabby, squeezed out. Easy to drink. Pleased with mint.
I bought a mint with a very hard stem, about the size of a young branch of a tree. Doubted that it was worth poking her into a new SV. But nothing, the machine ate without problems.

Strawberries (bought an unsuccessful, firm with a dense core in the pulp) - from 310 gr. strawberries turned out to be 225 gr. juice. The juice is homogeneous and thick. No seeds. Delicious.

Young carrots - 346 gr. carrots 177 gr. juice. It is drunk like juice without pulp, although some pulp is probably present. For the purity of the experiment, it was necessary to strain it through a sieve, but I decided that this was unnecessary. She also squeezed out two old carrots, which had been in the refrigerator for a long time, already quite flabby. Of these, 49% of the juice by weight was obtained. The cake is moist and very fine.

Orange -162gr. - 105 gr. juice. Delicious, more uniform than after pressing on citrus CB. True, we press on citrus with a grate "with pulp".

Apples - they have sharply doubled in price, so I didn't bother, but bought "discounted" ones, that is, at the old price. All the same, juice from old apples is no longer full. Smallish, soft and clumsy (not rotten!).
It turned out from 205 gr. apples 214 gr. juice. Practice has diverged from theory.
So I decided that I just didn't squeeze the orange. He walked in front of the apples.

Green peas (together with pods, and a little with twigs) - from 113 gr. peas 65 gr. juice. Pretty tasty. The cake is dry.

Pleased with the pomegranate. Half a pomegranate has been lying in the refrigerator since the New Year. We didn't want to eat it (we are not lovers), it's a pity to throw it away. The top grains have already turned white, and in general ... the juice squeezed out perfectly. I didn't even expect such a result. The cake is dry, the bones are crushed, the juice is delicious. She put a fine grate, afraid that the bones would clog it. But nothing of the kind, the grill was clean. That is, clean in general, without traces of activity. This surprised and pleased me. I did not weigh, because I did not expect a decent result.

Well, in general, so far. It is easy to wash the SV, I think it will take about two minutes. My CB is usually in a basin, so that the drain in the sink is not clogged (I hate to pick out the cake from the safety net), so I can wash this CB without any problems at all.

During operation, the sound is quiet, calm, even, low. I would say solid.
Although it is too early to draw final conclusions.

If you are interested in anything else, ask. I will share it with pleasure.

afnsvjul
Evira, and how much is this miracle and where did you buy it?
Evira
afnsvjul, SV was purchased through an intermediary in Odessa. The price included intermediary services and fast delivery. Therefore, I do not know the real price. You can inquire about the price on the respective sites, so it will be more correct.

Yesterday, in 20 minutes, a bucket of raspberries and a bucket of currants were processed (currants were collected together with branches).

Panasonic is a cool company, it makes a lot of devices.
Maybe not a bad Auger.
However, in "ShnekoStroyenia" - companies with other "surnames" are leading / specializing.

All clear! In my opinion, I can do without a sieve for solid products, there is a good centrifuge.
Irgata
Quote: Iskatel-X

it is in the centrifuge, the sieves are divided into for hard and for soft, and it is still very dubious squeezing of soft products, the centrifuge for hard is adapted

the screw squeezes out everything, both hard and soft

in auger the sieve for puree has a larger perforation, and a thick mass flows, which is valuable, we will eat more fruit-vegetable-berry, and much less leaves in the cake

Connoisseurs, we need your help! I want an auger juicer with a sieve for juice and puree, with a drip tray. I would like no more than 10 thousand. Irsha told about her endever 94/95. It would suit me perfectly both functionally and for the price. However, this model is not in stores, allegedly out of production. And in the new models of endever, I did not find a model with 2 sieves.
I would be grateful for your help in finding the augers of my dreams
