The first cleaning experiences with Rumba. To be honest, he often blunts. Leaves the room or stops and turns off, leaving uncleaned debris. And he returned to charge for 5 days only once.
It's strange.
And so it cleans well. But the dirt must be shown to him, that is, to put him in this place.

When I was a young boy (puberty), I didn’t run home more often than once a week for a "recharge". And then for the guitar.

Angelica, and where did you buy your Rumbik.
I have Rumbik above all praise. I don’t show him any garbage, he cleans himself remarkably, I turn it on every day (I really like to watch him), one charge is enough for all the rooms, I have an area of 120 sq m less, cluttered with furniture, where he cannot crawl.
Now I choose Scuba and I got the idea that although everything is done in China and Rumbiki and Scuba, there are not only factories (or whatever they have), but also all kinds of small basements offices where they are riveted on the knee.
So I'm sitting thinking whether to buy it in a proven German store where I bought Rumbik, or buy from us, where you can run into a slap in the basement. Now in the German store it is written that there are no Scuba in the warehouse and it is not known when it will appear, although they do not remove Scuba from the site and allow them to be put in the basket.
I hope that everything will work out for you and Rumbik will work as expected ..
RS. I saw where I bought it. After all, this is Russia.

Here somewhere on the previous pages it was like there is no "left". Neither its appearance nor the packaging raised doubts. There is a guarantee for one year.
All the same, I don’t understand why, when the door is open, it does not come to the base, but turns off and remains where it was removed. And why, having traveled in the room for a long time, still leaves places where rubbish is visible. Maybe he just blows it there? And there are still areas where he does not reach, for example, there are chairs, but you can drive past them further, but he comes up, trains along, and back. And there is still plenty of cleaning space behind the chairs.
And so it cleans up cleanly, no complaints. Only while it is necessary to check for him and if something to return to finish.
lesik_l
I lift all the chairs, he pokes and pokes, and if he hasn't exactly passed between the legs, then he simply “does not see” the rest of the place, he thinks - there is a wall.
As far as the base is concerned, as far as I understand, it has a rather narrow directional infrared signal. At a great distance, and if the robot is also obstructed by something, it simply does not see the base.

The Left doesn't really exist.

As for returning to base: do you start cleaning from base? For if they carried it into the room and launched it, then Rumba has little chance of returning to the base.

And yes, what specific model are we talking about? There can be a lot of reasons for stupidity - even a neighbor's Wi-Fi can interfere. At least for communication with lighthouses.
Albina
Girls, can you tell the "teapot". I left for a month, left Rumbik on charge. But the person who was left to look after the house disconnected it to play the ionic, and did not reconnect it.I arrived, let Rumbika clean up once. Now it's charging, the indicator is yellow-orange. Am I worried if the battery is dead? And where is he at all?
Angelica1
Robo-Cop, thank you very much! This is exactly what it is - I start cleaning not from the base, but I bring it in my hands to the right room! Thanks to your answer, I feel relieved!
Model 770. I have not used lighthouses yet.

So it’s the same for me: he didn’t crawl between the legs of the chair, and then he didn’t try to sideways. So you have to remove the chairs, it turns out.

That's okay. Just keep in mind that your model does not support beacons and you have virtual walls in the kit. And this, as my friend says, is "not that coat."

Thank God my Rumbik is charged

Rumba connoisseurs, tell me, how does the 620 work? I was thinking about purchasing a robot vacuum cleaner, but I don't know which model to choose. There are no pets, no carpets on the floors either, but the cleaning areas are large. Is the 620 suitable for such conditions?
Robo-Cop
What does "large areas" mean?
620 as well as 630/650/660 can clean 80 sq. M. In the sense that she has enough charge. But if the area is an apartment with doors, furniture, a corridor, etc., then it is not a fact that he will go everywhere and clean everything.
Lyi
Reading the whole topic again is unrealistic, and so it's a mess in my head.
Tell me, please, maybe I'm confusing.
I got a memory that you can't drag Rumbik by the handle on the front panel.
I'm right? The son assures that the instructions do not say anything about this And, moreover, why then do we need a pen?
Please write, otherwise I will still clutch at my heart when my son carries Rumbik by the handle outside for cleaning.
Albina
I do not know of such contraindications for transferring with a pen. I also transfer from room to room with a pen. Then what is the pen for? For fun?
Rita
For 4 years now I have been dragging him by the handle and all in a bundle.

The handle is present in many models. It's easier to list the models that definitely don't have it. From memory, you shouldn't look for a pen in 531 (American), 550 and 595.

Good day! And do not tell me which online store is better to buy a robot vacuum cleaner in Ukraine? Can you tell me who has it, where you bought it. I would be grateful for your help. going to buy a 780 model.
Angelica1
I told my husband about the pen, and he says, I myself did not know that he had a pen. The children then showed him where the pen was. Not all men are so advanced.

very good good service.

Robocop! (missed) question

I seem to know everything and read it, but how it comes down to it, sometimes a stupor. How often should Rumba be discharged? right here every time to zero? or once a week is it possible? (like a strong long marital sack )
mlena
Thanks for the answer! But for some reason, my links do not open.

Yes, no, it is not necessary to discharge to zero every time. I would say that even once a month is the most it. But if the procedure for discharging the battery in your family is somehow connected with other, more intimate, processes, then at least once a week ...

I believe him, he is special, he knows what he is talking about, he tried this and that, mabut ... yes ...
once a month he said the very thing, and there is nothing to drive the device unnecessarily, otherwise the battery will be erased and the counters ... and ... and ... the front wheel will slip out

out Rita caught up, her big wheel fell off at all, what were they doing there with it?

Here's the experience I had an hour ago. She started cleaning without removing the long-haired sheep skin from the floor and went into the kitchen. The vacuum cleaner got entangled in this hair and fell silent. He wrapped a tuft of hair around the base of one brush, and an adjacent brush was wrapped in the same tuft. The hair turned out to be very strong. Of course, I cleaned it all off (a piece of skin had to be cut off), but the silicone base of the brush in two places was squeezed by the hair so much (apparently he was pulling, trying to free himself, and the strand of hair was very much wound and cut into the silicone) that the silicone was damaged. Thank God, the damage is not very deep, the brush holds and works. But all the same now I'm afraid that she will come off.
Now I want to know if this tee with tassels is sold separately and how much it costs. Maybe someone knows? Tomorrow I will call the guarantee.
Robo-Cop
The cheapest and most widespread replacement part. Well, maybe more filters. So finding a helicopter side brush is not difficult.

Girls, boys!
They sent me Scuba 390 yesterday. I first cleaned everything with my Rumbik (robot vacuum cleaner), but I could not start Scuba right away, I was discharged.
I was recharging all night. Launched in the morning into the kitchen on the tiled floors. She washed the floors for an hour and honked (stopped) and used up all the clean water. I didn’t like how she washed it (the floors were specially made dirty with stains, etc.) and we poured fresh water and detergent into her and started it again. Now everything was cleaned up well. But after changing the water and trying to start it in a new room, it refused to work, gives a signal, the battery is discharged.
In general, it worked for 2 hours on a full battery charge, washed the kitchen 15 sq m 2 times, that is, 30 sq m.The instructions say that on one charge it should wash 80 sq m.
Lies? Or is there something wrong with my Scooby and I need to contact the seller asking to replace the battery?
Calm down my darling, write how Scuba works for you!
Rita
Lyi, in order for the battery to reach its full capacity, it must be charged the first 3 times for at least 12 hours after being completely discharged.

Bought the day before yesterday a robot vacuum cleaner (sounds cool) 🔗... Great fellow. It even evokes some kind of tenderness, especially when it beats lightly against furniture. So funny. Well, it cleans well, quite satisfied. Our apartment is not big (50 m2), this kid can do it in about 2-3 hours.
