Puff sticks with marbled pork and Parmesan

Ingredients

Puff pastry (2 sheets) 500 g
Raw smoked marbled pork * 200 g
Parmesan cheese 40 g
Egg + water - for a lion 1 pc. + 1 tbsp. l.
Sesame for sprinkling

Cooking method

  • Puff sticks with marbled pork and ParmesanDefrost the dough. Roll out into a layer 2-3 mm thick and about 20x25 cm in size.
  • Puff sticks with marbled pork and ParmesanCut the dried marbled pork into thin slices of 1-2 mm. Place the pork slices in the middle of the dough.
  • Puff sticks with marbled pork and ParmesanCover the pork with the third dough.
  • Puff sticks with marbled pork and ParmesanSprinkle with finely grated Parmesan cheese, half of the dough bent over pork.
  • Puff sticks with marbled pork and ParmesanCover the cheese with the remaining third of the dough. Press down on all layers of dough and filling, releasing air between the layers. Before sprinkling the dough with Parmesan, the dough can be greased with ice cream (1 egg + 1 tbsp. L. Cold water = beat).
  • Puff sticks with marbled pork and ParmesanCut the dough with a sharp knife into strips about 1 cm wide. You should get 18-20 strips.
  • Puff sticks with marbled pork and ParmesanTransfer the sticks to a baking sheet covered with parchment, twisting 2-3 turns each.
  • Puff sticks with marbled pork and ParmesanLubricate the sticks with lezon, sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional) and bake in the oven at 200 * C (convection) for 10-12 minutes.
  • You can serve such sticks as an independent snack or to your favorite puree soup
  • Puff sticks with marbled pork and Parmesan
  • Bon Appetit!

Note

* can be substituted for non-fatty bacon or Parma-type ham.
