Madeleine cookies with sun-dried berries, chocolate, walnuts and orange zest

Ingredients

Wheat flour NASTYUSHA 150 (160) g
Eggs (large) 2 pcs.
Granulated sugar 150 g
Milk 1 tbsp. l.
Butter 125 g
Baking powder 1 tsp
Orange zest 1 tsp
Salt pinch
Additives - dried berries (sweet cherries, cherries, cranberries), walnuts, chocolate. taste

Cooking method

  • Butter, eggs and milk should be at the same room temperature. If the eggs are large, then it is better to increase the amount of flour to 160 g.
  • - Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 180C, let it heat up for now.
  • - Beat butter with sugar until fluffy and sugar is completely dissolved. I did it with a blender leg.
  • - Add eggs one at a time to the butter mixture, whisking milk, zest and salt.
  • - Sift the flour with baking powder and gently mix with the mixture, especially not zealous so that the cookies are light and crumbly.
  • - Grease the trays of the "Madeleine" dish with vegetable oil or margarine. Silicone optional.
  • - Using a dessert spoon, put the dough into the trays, distribute it over the mold so that it fills the entire compartment, but does not protrude above the level of the mold. Spread and press our additives into the dough. Put walnuts in half, chocolate in large pieces.

  • - Bake the biscuits, carefully remove them from the slots (fragile) and place them on a napkin.
  • Allow to cool, sprinkle with icing sugar and enjoy delicious, aromatic, light, crumbly cookies with additives for every taste!
