Czech soup Bramboraca (Potato stew) in Steba DD2


tuber celery 0.5 tuber
potatoes 3-4 pcs.
parsley root 1 PC.
carrot 1 PC.
onion 2 pcs.
porcini mushrooms 150-200 g
sausage Krakow small piece
flour 2 tbsp. l.
butter (for sautéing and for flour) 50g
garlic 5 teeth
dry marjoram pinch
Water (or chicken broth) 1 - 1.5 l
Pepper, salt taste

Cooking method

  • Grate the carrots, cut the potatoes and celery tuber into cubes and sauté in oil.
  • Pour with broth or water (I had cold broth left over from cooking chicken breast for salad), add chopped sausage (I had very little of it), mushrooms cut into slices, salt. Then cook on Vegetables 0.7 10 min.
  • Melt butter in a skillet and add 2 tablespoons of flour. With constant stirring, "fry" the flour for a couple of minutes and transfer the contents of the pan to the soup. Cook for a couple of minutes. Add garlic passed through a press, add salt to taste, add pepper and toss in a pinch of marjoram. I covered it with a lid "on one side" and for the general "additional cooking" I switched on the Simmering mode 95 degrees for 10 minutes.
