Pickled tomatoes in 24 hours

Ingredients

tomato 2 Kg
garlic several teeth
fresh herbs according to your taste a few twigs
salt 0.5 cups
vinegar 8% 100 ml
sugar 1 glass
water 2.5 liters

Cooking method

  • We prepare tomatoes:
  • It is better to take small and thick-skinned tomatoes. For example, ladies' fingers. Although I also do from the usual large tomatoes.
  • We make a cut lengthwise in each tomato and put a plate of garlic and a sprig of any greenery in it.
  • We put the tomatoes tightly in a container, for example in a 3 liter jar.
  • Cooking the brine:
  • Add salt, sugar and vinegar to the water.
  • Bring the brine to a boil.
  • Then let it cool down a little and pour in the tomatoes.
  • We cover the tomatoes with something, for example, a falga and leave them in the kitchen for a day.
  • Tomatoes are ready in 24 hours!
  • We try, if the degree of salting suits, then we put it in the refrigerator.
  • Bon Appetit!

Time for preparing:

15 minutes + 24 hours for salting

Note

1. I used a 200 gram glass
