Cooking method

  • This recipe was born from my mom's recipe for apples baked with rice, so to speak, a "lazy" option, but no less tasty. I do it when many "substandard" apples need to be attached.
  • So. Cook 5 tablespoons of round rice in salted water for 10 minutes. At this time, we clean the apples, grease the form with vegetable oil and chop them into large pieces. You need so many apples to completely cover the bottom of the form. About 5-6 medium in size. I do not remove the peel. I cut it into four parts and every quarter in half or in three.
  • We wash the rice in cold water, add a handful of raisins and 1 tbsp. l. Sahara. Mix a pack of cottage cheese (200 or 250 g) with a handful of raisins, sugar and vanilla sugar to taste, adding 1 egg. Put cottage cheese on apples, on it - rice with raisins. Fill with sour cream with sugar (200 g sour cream, 6-7 tsp sugar, vanilla on the tip of a knife) and put in the oven at 180-200 degrees for about an hour. Look at the sour cream, the sour cream should brown a little.
