Chicken legs in hot-sour-sweet glaze (Multicuisine DeLonghi)

Ingredients

Chicken drumsticks (large) 6 pcs
Fresh garlic 3 teeth
Classic soy sauce 1 tbsp. l.
Chili sauce 1 tbsp. l.
Lemon juice 1 tbsp. l.
Sugar 1h l. b / slides
Fine salt 1/3 tsp
Fresh ginger (piece) 3x3 cm
or ground ginger 1/3 tsp
Vegetable oil 20 ml

Cooking method

  • My Kuzka with enviable regularity continues to present me the most pleasant surprises.
  • Today they are glazed chicken legs.
  • Marinade was born in my head somehow completely unexpectedly, I just wanted something like that, Asian ... and recipes from books for some reason rarely coincide with what is happening in my imagination.
  • With Kuzka, everything is simple as always: we take a suitable bowl and mix all the ingredients for the marinade in it (the garlic goes there, crushed, and the ginger - grated on a fine grater).
  • My chili sauce is like this:

  • We wash the chicken legs, dry them properly with paper towels and throw them into the marinade, for 15-20 minutes.
  • Chicken legs in hot-sour-sweet glaze (Multicuisine DeLonghi)
  • We install a bowl with a stirrer in Kuzka, put the chicken in it (part of the marinade remains in the bowl) and turn on the Airfryer mode, the power level is 3, the time is 35 minutes.
  • We do not discard the remaining marinade, but pour it on the chicken 5 minutes before the end of the program, so we glaze it.
  • All. We take it out, grind it in the bowl in search of the remains of the glaze, beautifully spread it on the places where the skin has come off the legs and ... we get incomparable pleasure from eating this piece of Kuz'ka art.

  • The glaze turned out to be just extraordinary! It combines all four flavors that are so welcomed in Asian cooking: the spicy, but not pungent, spiciness that comes from a small amount of chili sauce; pleasant sourness of lemon juice; light and very mild sugar sweetness, as well as unobtrusive, some special saltiness that soy sauce can only give.
  • During cooking, such breathtaking aromas soared here that only God knows how I could resist not getting the chicken ahead of time and not eating it raw.

  • It can be cooked separately, for example, for a side dish.
  • When I, at my husband's request, fried these legs again the next day, I decided to serve them with rice. And so that the rice does not seem dry, I cooked the glaze separately. This is done like this: mix all the ingredients in a small frying pan or ladle, bring to a boil, and cook over very low heat for 2 minutes. This is how it turns out:

  • Immediately, hot, pour the garnish, but only just a little, because the glaze is very concentrated in taste.
  • It is better not to cook it in advance, because, as it cools, it thickens strongly and does not liquefy when heated, which is what happened to me. Therefore, I did not succeed in "pouring" it over the rice so that it would flow down nicely and saturate it. I just had to sprinkle some large drops ...
  • You can also use this glaze to hide blemishes on the legs, in which the skin is deformed or the bone is exposed. With a thin layer (so as not to overdo it with concentration), we apply glaze to the damaged areas and get an extremely aesthetic look, ruddy legs:
