Pumpkin cutlets "Ryzhiki"

Pumpkin cutlets

Ingredients

Pumpkin (medium) 1 PC.
Semolina 0.5 tbsp.
Milk 1 tbsp.
Egg 2 pcs.
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Salt taste
Vegetable oil for frying
Breadcrumbs
Minced meat (meat, any) 300 BC

Cooking method

  • Peel and seed the pumpkin and grate it.
  • Salt and put in a pan with heated vegetable oil, simmer over medium heat until tender.
  • Add sugar to the stewed pumpkin, pour in milk and slowly
  • add semolina, stirring well so that there are no lumps.
  • When the semolina is ready, remove from heat and let cool.
  • While the mass is cooling, fry the onion and minced meat.
  • Add beaten eggs to the cooled "porridge" and mix well.
  • Form the cutlets (put the fried minced meat in the center).
  • Roll them in breadcrumbs and fry in vegetable oil.
  • Serve the cutlets hot with sour cream.

Note

You can, of course, cook from any pumpkin, BUT .... there are varieties that the pumpkin smell is not tasty. I cook porridge with pumpkin and also picky in varieties. I admit that these are my personal whims)))

We sell only small pumpkins or already cut.
As for the minced meat - of course, no one canceled the variations. It's a matter of taste.

I cooked not from the south, but from the locals. They are not sweet at all. And the local orange is a complete disgust, that's what I don't cook - they are smelly)))))
