Avocado mousse with chocolate and pistachios

Ingredients

very ripe avocado 2 pcs
dark chocolate about 60% cocoa 100 g
coconut cream or regular 33% 3 tbsp. l.
honey 3-5 tbsp. l.
cocoa powder 3 tbsp. l.
vanilla essence 1 tsp
salt pinch
pistachios (preferably raw) for serving

Cooking method

  • This variation of chocolate mousse was invented by raw foodists and vegans, but in the end everyone loved it. Only a delicious mousse is obtained only with a very ripe avocado, and it will be even tastier with a Haas avocado, if you find it!
  • I got an extremely ripe avocado, with a very light skin - perhaps this was the most delicious variety?
  • Chop the chocolate coarsely and put it in a stewpan with a thick bottom. Pour in the cream and heat, stirring constantly, over very low heat. Cook until the chocolate is completely dissolved. Now let it cool down a little.
  • Now let's deal with the avocado: peel it and rub it through a sieve - this is very easy to do only with a very ripe avocado.
  • Add cocoa, honey, vanilla and salt to the avocado puree.

  • Pour melted chocolate into the finished mass and beat everything with a mixer.
  • We put the mousse in dessert glasses, sprinkle with coarsely chopped pistachios and put in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Avocado mousse with chocolate and pistachios
