Vegetarian borscht (multicooker Brand 701)

Ingredients

Vegetable broth * 1-1.2 liters
Potatoes 3-4 pcs.
Cabbage 300 gr.
Carrot 1 PC.
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Beet 1-2 pcs.
Tomato paste 1 tbsp. l.
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Sugar 0.5 tsp
Water 1 m / st.
Dill and parsley fresh
Parsley and celery dry
Fresh garlic 2-3 teeth
Bay leaf 1 PC.
Salt, black pepper taste
Vegetable oil 1.5 tbsp. l.
Sour cream to serve

Cooking method

  • Cooking beetroot dressing, for which we stew beets.
  • 1. Clean the beets, chop them into strips. We put it in the multicooker bowl, after pouring 0.5 tbsp into it. l. vegetable oil.
  • 2. Add tomato paste, lemon juice and sugar. We mix.
  • We turn on the EXTINGUISHING mode for 30 minutes.
  • 3. Pour water into the bowl, close the lid of the multicooker and forget about it until the signal.
  • While you can prepare other ingredients: peel, wash and chop the vegetables.
  • 4. After the signal of readiness, transfer the stewed beets from the bowl.

  • We return the bowl to the multicooker body (I didn't wash the bowl).
  • Cooking vegetable frying.
  • 5. Peel and chop carrots and onions. Adding 1 tbsp to the bowl. l. spread the vegetable oil vegetables.
  • We turn on the FRYING 1 mode - 15 minutes. Stir the onions and carrots periodically.
  • 6. Since my potatoes are a rapidly boiling variety, and the winter cabbage is tough, I cut the cabbage into strips and after 7 minutes added it to the frying.
  • 7. Fried cabbage with onions and carrots for 5 minutes.
  • 8. Added dry parsley and celery to the vegetables and warmed up until the end of the regimen.

  • We cook borsch.
  • 9. Put the potatoes cut into cubes or cubes to the finished frying.
  • 10. Pour in vegetable broth. (Remember, the bowl is hot, the broth must be preheated in a separate bowl so as not to spoil the coating of the bowl!) The broth should not reach the maximum mark!

  • We turn on the SUP mode for 30 minutes. Pre-enable the HEATING function.
  • 11. After 20 minutes, add the beetroot dressing to the multicooker bowl. We mix. try it for salt and add salt if necessary.
  • 12. After another 5 minutes, put the bay leaf.

  • 13. Wash, dry and chop fresh herbs and garlic.
  • 14. After the signal, we take out the lavrushka, add greens and garlic, black ground pepper to our borscht and let it brew for 15-20 minutes on Heating.

Note

* cook vegetable broth from any favorite vegetables. I had leeks, carrots and parsley root. Or replace with water.

Ksyushenka, you have made such a beautiful and delicious borscht, I'm sure it was delicious. There is no Brandt multicooker, and without it, nothing will work out obviously, maybe in some other way it can be cooked.

Cook in your pressure cooker. In the same sequence. Only then release the pressure and add the beets, keep on heating for 15-20 minutes. She will already be ready, she does not have to boil.

What a beautiful, appetizing borscht in the photo! And the color is such a rich beet.
My borscht is always more red from tomato-tomatoes, but here the color is clearly given by beets. You will need to try to cook such a lean borscht. Only I will cook on the stove in a saucepan. Will it turn out to be so beautiful and tasty?
