Vanilla cream
milk 175 g
sugar 30 g
vanilla sugar 2 pack
egg 1 PC
starch 15 g

Cooking method

  • Knead the pastry and leave to ferment at room temperature for 2 hours. I put it in the oven with the lamp on. Next, according to the recipe, the dough must be cooled at 5 degrees for about 1 hour. I missed this moment. I wanted it faster. Roll out the dough 3 mm thick and cut into a flower shape. It is easier for those who have such a form. I do not have. I just cut out the mugs with a glass, cut them not completely into 5 sectors and, so that they do not connect the corners of each petal, I bent towards the center. Proof in a mold for about 1 hour. Before baking, fill the flowers with vanilla cream and bake with steam at 210 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle the cooled buns with icing sugar.

The buns are super. Bake to your health!
P.S. According to the recipe for salt 14 g, it is slightly felt in the dough (but does not spoil it), so if you want something sweeter, reduce the amount of salt or add sugar to the cream.
