Czech risotto in a Panasonic multicooker

Category: Culinary recipes

Ingredients

Tomatoes 800-1000 g
Bell pepper 6-8 pcs.
Cow oil 250 g
Rice
(Krasnodar or for Risotto)
1.5 tbsp.
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • Put the butter in a saucepan and you can turn it on until the butter is slightly melted, prepare the tomatoes (through a meat grinder or blender, or a grater, you can do it with the peel without, as you like) and send them to the butter. Then cut the peppers into 4 parts and cut into strips of at least 0.5 cm, the same as you like (peppers should be real, Bulgarian peppers - thick-walled). Then add the washed rice. We look if the tomato mass is not enough to add water (which is not desirable). Salt to taste. After 30-40 minutes, everything is ready (readiness is determined by rice).
  • When cooking on a fire, you have to stir periodically. You may not need this in a multicooker.

Note

I don't know the exact name of this dish, because I inherited the recipe from my great-grandfather without a name.
I want to say right away that this recipe has nothing to do with the so-called "Czech appetizer" (the taste is not the same). We cook this dish in an ordinary cauldron, but I think that it is ideal for a multicooker. While I only dream about it and this will be the first dish that I will cook in it

Bon Appetit.

My friend stews mutton in a cauldron in tomatoes and pepper. When the meat is ready, add rice. Do not tear off your ears - what a deliciousness! Now I know - this is a Czech risotto
