Ingredients

milk (preferably homemade) 2-2.5L
eggs 5-6 pcs.
sour cream 400-500g.
sugar 300g.
butter 200-300g.

Cooking method

  • Easter is being prepared for 2 days. In fact, the process does not take much time, but the result exceeds all the time spent.
  • On the first day in the evening:
  • • stir eggs with sour cream (do not beat)
  • • bring milk to a boil and pour in the mixture of eggs and sour cream
  • • cook over low heat, stirring, until the milk is completely curdled, the whey should become almost transparent (approximately 5-10 minutes, it is impossible for a long time - otherwise the curd will turn out tough)
  • • leave to cool for 1 hour
  • • drain into a colander through cheesecloth and leave to drain overnight
  • • put the butter out of the refrigerator to soften overnight
  • Next morning:
  • • beat the curd mass, sugar, butter with a mixer -3-5 min
  • • put gauze in the mold and put Easter on it, put in the refrigerator
  • • for the whole day Easter should take shape
  • • put on a dish in the evening
  • Easter is ready! Bon Appetit!

In general, vanillin certainly does not hurt. But I just love the creamy smell of Easter.
My home people don't really like dried apricots and raisins, so I don't add.
I think a small number of them can be added.
This Easter is not stored very long for 2-3 days - but it does not have time to be stored for a long time, because it is very tasty.
After this Easter (April 15) I did it again and everyone ate it.

Cook for health. I can also advise you - if you cook from homemade milk, do not take fresh milk - let it stand in the refrigerator for at least a day or two. Then Easter will be better curled up.
