Poppy seed buns

Ingredients

dry yeast 1.5 tsp
egg 1 PC.
butter (softened) 40 gr.
milk / water 120 ml
salt 0.5 tsp
sugar 40 gr.
wheat flour 280 gr.
Filling:
poppy taste
sugar 2 times more poppy
butter for greasing dough

Cooking method

  • For the dough - mix all the ingredients in a bread machine, knead to a homogeneous dough.
  • Leave to rise for 3 hours.
  • Divide the dough into 8 equal parts.
  • Roll out each part, grease with butter, sprinkle with poppy seeds and sugar. Roll up into a tube and roll into a ring. On the ring in a circle we make cuts from the outside without cutting to the center. It turned out to be a flower, now we turn each petal from edge to "back". It turns out a chamomile.
  • I cover the baking sheet with foil, grease with oil. We spread the bun on a baking sheet, leaving a distance of at least 2 cm between them.
  • Brush the buns with an egg. Leave to rise for about 30 minutes.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200C for about 15 minutes.
