Ingredients

Cakes:
Margarine 250 g
Eggs (yolk) 1 PC.
Sour cream 3 tbsp. l.
Flour how much dough will take
Poppy filling:
Poppy 200 g
Yolks 2 pcs.
Protein 3 pcs.
Sugar 1 tbsp.
Baking powder 1 bag (18 g)
Semolina 2 tbsp. l.
Cream:
Butter 200 g
Boiled condensed milk 1 can

Cooking method

  • Poppy filling:
  • Steam the poppy seeds, grind it until milk appears, add sugar, yolks, baking powder, semolina and grind thoroughly. Beat 3 egg whites until firm peaks and gently add to the poppy seed. Divide this portion into 2 parts.
  • Cakes:
  • Knead shortbread dough from margarine, yolk, sour cream and flour. Divide it into 6 equal parts.
  • Roll out two pieces into thin cakes (3-4 mm) and bake until golden brown at a temperature of 200-220 ˚С.
  • We bake the rest of the cakes like this:
  • put the raw crust in the mold, pour out the poppy mass, cover with the second raw crust. Bake over medium heat until tender. We also bake the remaining 2 cakes.
  • Cream:
  • Beat butter with condensed milk.
  • Assembling the cake:
  • We collect the cake in the following sequence: cake-cream-cake with poppy seeds-cream-cake-cream-cake with poppy seeds.
  • Fill the top with chocolate icing and decorate.
  • Let the cake soak for 2-3 hours at room temperature, and then in the refrigerator.

Note

The cake can be covered with icing.
Before serving, it is better to remove it from the refrigerator in 30 minutes.

Hello SveKosha! To be honest, I've heard and read recipes with the word platsok many times, but I really don't know how it translates (as far as I understand, it's something like a pie for the whole baking sheet). I was given this recipe just like a cake, though in double the size. I reduced it because it turned out to be too big. In this form, I bake it in a round shape d-24 cm, the height after pouring with icing comes out 7 cm. The cake is very high in calories, so there is enough for our family of 4 people. Cakes that are baked separately need to be done a little more, because they run together. If they are made the same as poppies, then after baking they will be slightly smaller than them. I prefer to take softened margarine in all sand products. By the way, the cake tastes better if it stands a little at room temperature before serving.
