Excuse me for being annoying - but small volumes (like one onion), will he grind, or scatter along the walls?

Grind the onion, but some will be large pieces, and some will be almost porridge. I like something cut with a knife more if it is fried. After the grinder, because of the liquid, it starts to stew somehow ..
Cook
For me, rub the grass with a mallet for okroshka, worse "karassin".

I often chop 1 onion for cutlets in a blender. If I have frozen minced meat without onions. Part of the onion, of course, is scattered along the walls, but I spoon it back to the bottom - and then I twist it. The onion pieces are slightly larger than through a meat grinder.

And I like the grass-ant just the grinder best of all ... Better than with a knife. And I cut the radishes with a mini alligator ... I must try in the grinder

I went and looked. The cup was smaller than Kenwood's, which is what I need. They said 400 ml. And it narrows to the bottom, so it has to grind small quantities. Hmm ... you say, bigger than in a meat grinder ... But I need it straight into the mess ... or you just don't twist it for a long time? And if it is longer, then threshes "into dust"? I mean not only the bow, but also .... EVERYTHING!
Gin
I took some measurements here
in general, put the bowl on the scale and poured water up to the max mark, it turned out 312 ml of water with a knife inside the bowl (of course, without the weight of the bowl)
well, I used to load above the mark
you saw the dimensions in the store, but maybe someone else is interested - the upper diameter of the bowl is 11.5 cm, the lower one is 9 cm. the height of the bowl from the table is 9.5 cm, and from the bottom to the top of the bowl is about 8 cm.

I cut the onions myself for frying. chop the onion and garlic - if necessary, add to the minced meat, sauce, etc.
chops one onion normally. it happens that larger pieces will remain on top (you can see it in the photo with carrots). if it bothers me, I can stir with a spoon or shake and blender
I looked at the model - it seems like if you thresh for a longer time - flour, say from nuts, of course will not work, but it will be meeeeeeer

in general, something like that

I have a question for the KOSHATNITSA. I was exhausted with the choice - Philips HR-1372 or Kenwood HB 724 ... Do you, as I understand it, have both brands? (Only Phillips is another model). I don't really need a potato maker. The chopper is important. And preferably for a small amount of hard vegetables (carrots, raw potatoes, onions ...) You wrote that you like the way Phillips chops, in a chopper, right? And whose leg is better? Is it noticeable in the quality of work that there are three, and there are two knives? Please help me with a choice, otherwise I'm already worn out all

maruska1, just now got to the computer, so sorry for the late answer. I have a Phillips 1371 (I bought it separately in the service, a whisk, since the Filipok is donated) and Keshik. On the leg - it seems to me that they are the same. I like Filipk's chopper better for both meat and vegetables. For Keshik, for some reason everything turned out to be under the knives (maybe I'm just a crooked hand?), But he has a potato grinder! I bought it only because of this function, if Filip had this attachment, then I would not buy the second one. Daughter-in-law Phillips has 1372, she is also very happy with it.

Yes, the longer you twist, the finer. Already the juice is released and the gruel is obtained. Nuts can be ground to "dust". I make minced meat from liver, chicken.Just before scrolling, I cut it into small pieces so that it threshes better and more evenly.

Joy, thank you very much, you just inspired me! Do you have such a mixer? Bosch MFQ 3550? After all, I thought and thought, and still I ordered IT. I think that if we fail to make friends with his blender, then at least a powerful mixer will remain. And then (but I hope that I still won't have to) I will look for a blender ...
But ... I'm afraid that this task is impossible, that it would be small, powerful, and without unnecessary bells and whistles ...
Gin and Koshatnitsa, thank you very much, you helped me a lot in my torments!
And how should you write appeals so that they are in bold type ...? Oops ... ashamed ...!
Kalmykova
Small, powerful (700 W) and without unnecessary bells and whistles - I have Kenwood, but I don't remember the model number. The glass, the leg is normal and the leg is wide. But, here it seemed a little, and I also bought this one, with a potato grinder. Now 2 motors and a bunch of attachments.
maruska1
Nooo ... the fact of the matter is that I do not need these "legs" ... I need a chopper, but not a low-power chopper, but a good one, so that EVERYTHING will grind into porridge! But only very little! Smaller than Kenwood

Glad to have suggested I have a Brown MR 6550 M CA blender, with a leg, a chopper and a whisk, I chose it for a long time and tediously, read reviews and so on. But I had other requirements - I wanted a leg. It works for me. It would not have been him, Bosch took. The main thing was looking at the power - I have 600 watts, less - it grinds worse.
To make the text bold, you need to select a word and press the button above the "B" emoticons. Then the highlighted word (or several highlighted words) will be located between square brackets with the English letter b.

Good evening everyone! Girls, who have KENWOOD 724 tell me: do you need to wipe the cottage cheese through a sieve with a metal foot or what? And I need to grind the red currants for the marshmallow - also with an iron foot? And at what speed? Will the knives not cling? YOU ARE WELCOME!!! Now there is a washed currant, and I'm afraid of it with a blender. And by hand, you will get bored with rubbing
zvezda
I did not understand the question ..... how are you going to wipe the curd with your FOOT through a sieve ??? And currants can be chopped in a glass and with any foot !!!!
Pinky
Yeah, but the girls wrote that they rub the cottage cheese through the SITO with a blender. What is it like? And I just need to RUB the currants through a sieve so that there are no seeds and skins (I also want to make jelly).

Probably, it meant rubbing through the nozzle - "potato grinder". She has a sort of sieve on her leg, so that there are no lumps in the puree, and the puree turns out to be more airy, light ... But these are potatoes, mashed potatoes ... and currants are completely different.
Pinky
Perhaps you will have to do everything in the old fashioned way: grind with a blender, and then through a sieve with a spoon, spoon. I need currant puree for jelly! And I have already finished talking about cottage cheese - probably, they grind it with a potato grinder. And I, stupid, was puzzled
matroskin_kot
Only, you, be careful with cottage cheese. So as not to break the crush ...

I just beat the cottage cheese with my foot perfectly ... just need a narrow container ... and the currants wipe faster through cheesecloth ...

Scrolled through Temka back and did not find an answer to my question. Girls who ever used a braun wireless blender, How does it work, does it grind well?
Lenny
Girls! Tell me about blenders.
I want to replace my Brown. More powerful. I have 300 watts.
Prerequisite: I need to turn the minced meat into an emulsion (I want to make minced sausage). Pre-prepared to grind it in a meat grinder. Did submersible - does not work (can we just be weak?). Household cutters are not for sale. And so I want sausages.

leka
I in kena 724 in the chopper once got so carried away that the minced meat became a sausage .. now I carefully grind it at 3 speeds. And on a turbo just like in boiled water it turns out.
Lenny
Wow. Class.
And then I looked into Temka today, and decided - I also need this. Rushed to the store. But he was not there, she did not see Ken live. I do not like to take it without feeling it. And the Browns, Muli and Filipiki somehow did not convince. And there, in Kena, a 3-blade knife, right?
And how do you like the build quality and materials? And then after the Kenwood steamer I'm afraid of this brand.
Kalmykova
And which blender still has 700 watts? And the motor is tested, how many people use it.

In addition to Kenwood 724, I also have Phillips 1371 (I don’t remember exactly), both have 700 watts of power, Phillips is already the second year, no complaints, if there is an overload, it turns itself off, but I didn’t have that, Kenwood took only because of the potato grinder. Minced meat in phillips is done perfectly in mashed potatoes, but I always throw the meat, I don't skip anything in the meat grinder beforehand. The connection between the motor and the Phillips attachment seems to me to be more reliable. But I love both of my assistants!
(Previously, I did not like to make mashed potatoes at all, until I bought Keshik).
leka
Yes, a knife with 3 blades, I really like it. And on the contrary, after the combine and the blender, I started to respect Kenwood and bought a slow cooker.
Lenny
I got out to the store. Was like. I felt it. Nevertheless, in design, power, convenience Bosch, Brown, Kenwood suit me. But more like the last two brands.
Girls, question on 724 Kenwood. There, the nozzles are unusually long and large. Is this inconvenient? Should you raise your hand higher?
leka
Since this is my first hand blender, there is nothing to compare with: - \ But I did not notice any inconveniences
Halla
Lenny, it is convenient to work. Moreover, the time is 10-30 seconds ... and you're done
Lenny
And tell me more, there is a 500ml chopper. Is it general volume or useful?
If not difficult, please see the instructions for the number of revolutions per minute.

The effective volume of the chopper is 500 ml. There is no specification in my instructions.

La la la la la la. I have lost the identity of Kenwood 724. I could not stand it. I went to Foxtrot. And what do you do if you dream of a blender at night (I think many people understand me: sometimes you want soooo that "THIS" takes all your thoughts).
Of the two models I chose, Kenwood and Brown, only the first was available. If so, fate ordered him and took him.
While I tried the mashed potatoes, I was not impressed. True, there was originally an intention to use this attachment for other purposes. But I liked the chopper. Quickly, so the tomatoes zipper and that's it (after the previous 300W it's noticeable). Of course, it takes decent places.
Lenny
Yes, now is not the time for mashed potatoes. I never make a young man. Both tasteless and ugly. But I really wanted to test!

I’m thinking, what else can be mashed besides potatoes, carrots and rutabagas (according to the instructions)? Pumpkin - yes. But the cottage cheese? By the way, according to the instructions, should this nozzle be used at 1 speed?
leka
Mine, too, has already done 2 times ... potatoes are such a savory mashed potato fairy tale!
And also he drags from the Berner grater

Girls, I am still tormented by the choice I need something in the kit for the Bosch 4655. At first I thought to buy a small and inexpensive Philips combine and a hand mixer, but now I am inclined to buy a Braun MR 550 Buffet FPHC hand blender
UPD
The second time I read this whole thread, Brown 550, I got something wrong
Oksyusha
Owners of 724 Kenwoods, tell me if I have a marriage of some kind or everyone has it: if there is a sufficiently large amount of not very thick product in the grinder (well, for example, I made liver pate), then when turned on, the liquid can flow out at the junction of the bowl and lid , does it close leaks? It is corrected if you apply force, that is, if, when turning on, the part with the motor is not only held, but also, as it were, pressed down.
Halla
Oksyusha, chopped fresh tomatoes yesterday. Nothing came out.
Sens
Oksyusha,
I'm also leaky, it happens. but this is water ... that fat does not flow out

I don't remember the number of my Braun blender - I bought it 5 years ago, but the set includes 2 bowls - a large and a small one, some kind of ice bowl and an ice knife, but a motor with 15 speeds, in addition to the turbo button and of course a purée nozzle, so I only use a small bowl and a mash nozzle to make, for example, a paste, but the motor is very convenient, recently the motor burned out, they brought me a new one for only 1000 rubles, and I was afraid that I would have to buy a new blender, but how was it with me such regimes are expensive. So think about whether you need such a large set, or how will you add them to my cabinets?

Girls, for a long time I chose and bought a Braun MR 530 Sauce CA blender, in addition to it I bought a Philips 7605 combine. Half an hour ago, all this wealth was brought, I am sitting and dismantling it.

I have a question for the owners of Brown blenders: I have greasy grease on the pin located at the bottom of the chopper bowl. To wash it off or not?

you can just wipe it off with a napkin, you better not need water, I also have Brown, I have been using it for 2 years, but I don’t remember any lubricant

I'm not sure if it needs to be wiped off or washed off at all, so I ask. On the other hand, when I wash the shredder before the first use, I will wash it with soap or Fairy, the grease will wash off anyway. I'd better call the Brown hotline or service and ask them.
Ernimel
I honestly don't remember any special grease on brown, but I took mine about 4 years ago. Considering that it doesn't matter if you wash it afterwards (with your hands or stick it in the dishwasher - if there is one, I only wash the spare parts in the PMM and always wash it) - it will still wash off, and cooking with something incomprehensible in the bowl is not buzzing. In general, I would advise you to put it all in the dishwasher before using it for the first time.

By the way, since I looked into the topic. I will report once more about my brown. Above, I wrote and cried that my motor unit was dying ... well, I don’t know again, a lot, in general. And after the end of the warranty, the question arose - what to do.

I swore, swore, mumbled, mumbled ... and as a result, we repaired the unit ourselves without a guarantee, and even bought a spare one (maybe 800 rubles). I will explain why this is so. Although his motors are capricious, the complete set turned out to be unkillable. Not a single latch broke, not a single knife looked down (although I'm thinking of changing the knives - well, it's just that they have been in use for a long time), From the point of view of ergonomics, everything is fine, except, perhaps, that on the lid of the small bowl drain holes (as in a large one), and when washing in the PMM, something always remains there. But, most likely, this is due to the size and strength .. although a small hole would be enough. Throwing away the bowls and whisk was frankly unprofitable, in general. Even the simplest set of some unit would cost me more than a new block (or even two).In general, the thing is actually not bad (I have a 6550 with a metal "leg" and a set of small + large bowl with an "icebreaker").
Daffi
I don't have a dishwasher, so before the first use I washed everything by hand with Fairy and Households. soap. A little grease remained, I chopped the onion and minced meat on dumplings, washed the bowl and the grease was washed off.
Most likely everyone has the lubricant, but it is completely transparent and cannot be seen. I got into it with my finger when I tried to pull the knives out of the plastic protective case, that's how I found out about its existence
The blender is excellent, ground meat and onions for dumplings with a bang, then chopped onions and tomatoes for me into borscht. The Philips combine shredded my cabbage and rubbed my carrots. I am 100% satisfied with the blender, and a little less with the harvester, because after rubbing the carrots and beets there are leftovers, but these are trifles.
I ran to make dumplings, the dough has been in the bread maker for over an hour
milf
I have a Braun 5550 (7 years already), the engine broke down (by my stupidity). I bought a motor at the service center for 350 UAH, made Nutella twice, 10 days have passed, I turn it on, but it does not work. What I didn't like about the new motor was that the plastic was kind of flimsy, the speed selector knob was moving, and my old one was made in Spain, and this one in Poland. In the service, the money was returned to my joy, but I would have liked a working blender more. In stores I looked at the same motors on new blenders, only in one I saw a little better - made in China. In general, not so now the technique is done as before
Daffi
Compared the speed of the Brown hand blender (with a 500 ml chopper) with a power of 600 W
Blender
and combine Philips 7605 with a power of 350 W
Blender
The conclusion is disappointing - the combine (350 W) is definitely more powerful than the blender (600 W). If you use the Turbo mode in the blender, the blender becomes more powerful, but Turbo cannot be used for a long time. At the nominal speeds from 1 to 15, the blender is very weak.
The whisk in the blender is a complete misunderstanding, as an experiment I tried to whip one protein with a whisk of a blender, I used speeds from 1 to 15, there was no sense, even there was no foam, I turned on Turbo, foam appeared, but Turbo cannot be kept for a long time, so I spat on this hassle and shifted the unfinished protein in the combine, put a nozzle for emulsification (in the photo there is such a disk with a skirt) and ... voila, the protein whipped just great, added a little sugar and a little jam and got an excellent mousse. My conclusion is that the whisk of a submersible blender will not replace a mixer, it is impossible to use it due to the low power of the motor in the working part of the blender.
The working power of the Brown blender is nothing at 600 W, not even close, in fact there is even less than 350 W, I think that 250-275 W will be more like the truth. The stated 600W is the peak power in Turbo mode. If you press the Turbo too long, the engine will fly quickly, like that.
Do not get it wrong, I am very, very happy with both the combine and the blender, but a little at a loss from the small power of the Brown blender, I did not expect that the power is so small
elena_nice74
I agree, the corolla sucks. it is unclear why they are offered in the kit, they cannot whip anything up, I keep it for 6 years, it's just a pity to throw it away, I think to apply everything somewhere
