Pumpkin buns

Ingredients

For the test:
Dry yeast 1.5 tsp
Wheat flour 500g
Milk 200 ml
Egg 1 PC
Sugar 2 tbsp. l
Butter 50 g
Salt 0.5 tsp
Fresh pumpkin 400 g (you get 150 ml of juice)

Cooking method

  • Boil the pumpkin, grind it with a mixer or through a sieve and knead our dough on pumpkin nectar.

  • We heat the milk to about 40-45 degrees, dissolve sugar and yeast in it. Leave for 10 minutes, until a "cap" appears on the milk. Mix flour with salt and yeast mixture, add melted butter, egg, and pumpkin nectar. Knead smooth elastic dough.

  • Pumpkin buns

  • We put it in a warm place to come up - the dough should double in size. When it comes up, crush it and shape it into balls, buns, put on a baking sheet covered with parchment and let it come up a second time for about 40 minutes

  • Before baking, grease our buns with an egg and sprinkle with spices, nuts, cinnamon, who has that at home))


  • We bake buns at a temperature of 200 degrees for 20-30 minutes (depending on the oven).
