Caramel Toffee Sauce

water 100g
sugar 200 grams
butter 40 grams
cream of any fat content (I have 33%) 200 grams
salt (no prescription) 1/3 teaspoon

Cooking method

  • Pour sugar into a saucepan with a thick bottom.
  • Add water.
  • Put on fire and cook, without stirring, until the syrup begins to acquire color.
  • Caramel Toffee Sauce Then, stirring occasionally, bring until caramel color.
  • Add butter and stir everything well.
  • Remove from heat and pour in cream. Everything will boil and steam. Caution! Do not burn yourself.
  • Caramel Toffee Sauce Stir very quickly because lumps form. We put on fire and cook until the lumps disperse. Stir constantly. Add salt if desired. It tastes better to me.
  • Caramel Toffee Sauce Boil for another 2-3 minutes and remove from heat. The sauce is silky and smooth
  • Let it cool and pour into a dry dish.
  • Store in the refrigerator.
  • Serve with ice cream or use as a layer between the cakes.
  • Caramel Toffee Sauce
  • Caramel Toffee Sauce
  • Enjoy)

And what is the approximate output of the finished product?
gram 300-350. I didn't weigh it. If for a large number of people, then you can increase the percentage by 50%. And if there are few people, then eat it and it is better to make it fresh.
I will definitely do it !!!
Do it, Helen, delicious)

And in coffee, how is this sauce? Can?
Natasha, I did not try. But the taste is creamy. Perhaps a bite or a bun for a cup of coffee is also good)
