And they just called me, and said that my multicooker was being written off, and I could change it for another. I would have taken a Dex 60, but they are not available
On the website they write: "For warranty issues for DEX equipment, please contact the place of purchase. The list of service centers below applies only to repaired equipment (water heaters, washing machines, air conditioners)"
and if something happens to my multicooker - where to run? To the Seller? And if the case is out of warranty (the voltage in the network turned off, like on the 13th in the Vyshgorod region - up to 440 Volts) - throw it out?

Well, if the case is not guaranteed, then what difference does it make WHERE to carry the repair, just to the nearest workshop, where they will undertake it

I'm upset, who knows, help me, the multicooker is not even a month old, but something with the screen is not right:

Technical department. Multicooker DEX

The word warming up and yoghurt and the number 9 in the middle has lost color. What to do? I'm worried that it will continue to grow and soon nothing will be seen.

Damn it is insulting.

I also have such a problem (multicooker Smile MPC 1140) tulko, I first lost one stick at the number zero, and a day later another one, at the same figure. Did you somehow solve your problem?
Olyalya82
Hello everyone! My cartoon is a year and a half. And despite all the misadventures in the first month of her life (the beginning of this topic), she worked perfectly.
But here's a surprise today!
Homemade sausage, Steaming - Meat program (I poured water up to 3), worked for 59 minutes and I started another cycle. When I re-started, the amount of water did not look, but the steam went. After about 20 minutes, I sent my husband to turn off and open the lid and saw a steamer stand floating in an empty charred saucepan.

In general, I use the double boiler function once every hundred years. Once vegetables were steaming, the water boiled away and the cartoon turned off. And then just a haply and a saucepan and a double boiler. It's good that this is my old saucepan with the coating already worn out, and for food I use a new one.

Hello everyone! My cartoon is a year and a half.

hmmm ... lucky you really can carry it to the seller let the test and change to a new one, since they promised it did not turn off when the water boils off. Provide this saucepan and steamer

shl. and it was also lucky that we were at home at that time. Otherwise, you can still ask for material damage in a fire
Olyalya82
I walk around and wonder why she didn't turn off. I come to the conclusion that this is not a breakdown, but a logical consequence of what exactly was being prepared.
How does the cartoon work on the programs Stewing, steaming, Rice, Rice express? How exactly does she determine that the water is boiling or boiling away? Probably there is a temperature sensor in the lid near the valve. There is boiling water - there is steam - the temperature of the lid is 100 degrees. The water has not yet boiled - the temperature is below 100. The water has already boiled away - the temperature is also below 100. And it takes some time for the sensor to trigger when it boils off.
And I cooked a sausage of a fairly decent diameter for a couple, wrapped not just in foil, but in many layers of foil. The water boiled away, and there was a foil close to the sensor that accumulated heat. The sensor could not turn off and the heating continued, the foil warmed up even more, the sensor did not work, and the steamer stand melted at that time. It's simple. You are the one to blame. The cartoon looks good.
At least while I washed it from the smell of plastic, turned on boiling, everything worked fine. Now I'm cooking rice with mushrooms, it seems okay too.
lesik_l
What a fine fellow you are - did not find fault with the cartoon, but figured out the reason.

But in the reasoning, there is some kind of non-matching of concepts: in theory, the sensor should work when EXCEEDING 100 degrees, that is, the water has boiled away, an empty pan heats up more. And the fact that the product is already heated does not affect this effect.

Still, it's worth contacting the service.
Olyalya82
No, most likely there is only one sensor, it has a response threshold of 100 degrees. If you expect that it will heat up more, then the pan is doomed to burn every time. An empty pan heats up more at the bottom, and at the top the air must still warm up, and this is the time.

The porridge was cooked on express mode. As the water was absorbed into the rice, the sensor was triggered and the normal countdown went until shutdown.
The pan is working properly, and I was left without a steamer. I can of course use a metal steamer in an old saucepan, which, incidentally, has been perfectly cleaned.
It’s a pity that I took out the biscuits with a plastic steamer, and now I have to get rid of it.

There are two temperature sensors in 50. One in the lid, the other in a pip at the bottom. And the thresholds for different modes are different.

still, do not be discouraged from Polina, you can buy a plastic hinged steamer inexpensively here
it will be possible to take out biscuits, etc.

the instructions say that it is impossible to put metal forms in the bowl, that is, when there was water, it did not allow direct contact with the foil, and when there was no water, then what happened

in recipes for 60-ke, it is sometimes recommended to bake in a ceramic bowl with a diameter of 18 cm (read a recipe book)
Olyalya82
Thanks for the advice!
Do you know if these plastic mounted steam boilers are suitable for dexes?
Agata21
They come up, my daughter took mine from the Aurora and uses it.
AJlEHA
Olyalya82, and how much do you use the multicooker in general?
I would recommend you not to contact the seller, and even less to the service center, if the warranty period has not yet expired. By default, the SC should not deal with such nuances, because the equipment is exchange, and the seller would simply end up returning the MB back, since it works on all programs without failures. And the fact that they forgot to top up the water, including the repeated steam cooking cycle, unfortunately, will not help in any way.Otherwise, it would not have been possible to justify the charred saucepan
Try to write a letter to the Dex representative through the feedback form on the official website (contact section). Perhaps qualified specialists will be able to provide more reasoned information on the question why the shutdown did not work during the repeated cycle of the "Steam cooking" program without adding water (maybe the MV should not turn off until the steamer has completely melted? Although, before the end of the program, most likely) And how long would the work of MV have continued (a subtle hint of a fire)? ... Describe the situation, attach a photo. I think that such a request will definitely not be ignored.
Well, the people will also be interested in enlightenment about this.
Do not forget to also clarify where you can purchase additional components in the form of a stand steamer and container steamer.

Olyalya82
Thanks for the advice, but I don’t want to waste time clarifying relations with services and manufacturers. I have had experience several times with different firms in more significant situations. This is a waste of time, which is better spent on yourself, husband and child. Moreover, I believe that it is really my own fault, there are brains, it was necessary to move them before, not after. I'll order a steamer from Polina and I'll be glad.

Is the screen fogging up, or have the numbers just disappeared? If you fog up, then everything should be restored, if not, then you need to change.

No, I didn't fog up. The "parts" of the numbers on the screen just disappeared.
Even after the saucepan has cooled down and stood for a while? There are, of course, daredevils who themselves climb in the insides of a multi, but it is better to exchange. Of course this is a fuss, but you yourself will not do anything anyway.
I read your post again, it turns out this is not your cartoon, but friends. It’s unpleasant, but it’s not your fault. You advised a wonderful thing, but no luck. There are very few Dex marriages, but it had to happen for your friends to get him ...

Flight multi 3.5 years, but today she has a death, either clinical, or permanently.
I baked charlotte perfectly in the morning. Then she put the cutlets to steam, and the water does not boil. I went through different programs: the interface works, the upper heating element works, the lower one does not heat. Or the contacts from the lower heating element have moved away or burned out. An autopsy will show when the husband comes home from work. But I'm already wondering if it's really possible to find the same ten?

It's hard to say ... And you try to ask this question on the official website of DEX 🔗... Maybe they will tell you something. Then write what they will answer you. Time is running out, warranty periods are running out, so this issue may concern many.

If this is 50, then I would ask Filipsovites in their services, and not Dax.
You can also there. Although I think 50k and 60k shades are the same, don't they? But you are probably right, it will be easier to ask Phillips in the service.

Perhaps there will simply be more confusion. Also, as an option, there is such a seller on Aukro, called Service Dex, they sell repaired Dex equipment. You can contact them and ask if they have an extra heating element for the cartoon.
Olyalya82
Dex's service is frozen: they only change warranty breakdowns for new devices.
Philips service repairs only Phillips, but they simply do not sell spare parts, they have the strictest prohibition, you understand why.
I found these tens on the Chinese taobao for 20-50 yuan, I'll try to buy it, but it's a long song. If it works out, it will come out about 120 UAH. ten.

It turned out interestingly last year, when the bucket of the Orion 204 bread machine broke down. The service offered for 200 UAH. remove the used bucket from the defective stove and exchange it, underground, so to speak, because they have no official repair either. But I was lucky for 100 UAH. buy a new identical bucket to the identical clathronic bread maker, which the thrifty owners of the bread maker bought a new one in their service, but they never needed it.

Interestingly, from the multi I have two pans. Therefore, if it fails to be repaired, it makes sense to take a model with such pots, and this is Philips.
And the very word "Philips" is already annoying. We bought a damn good inexpensive model and dictate the terms and prices. Not to develop something like Panasonic.
Lozja
My father-in-law has a ten in the Orion bread maker, the guarantee is over. We found such a heating element on an Internet from some service workers on Petrovka in Kiev. I understand that you can find anything there. They sent us cash on delivery, the stove is working now.
Only now I can’t find such a heating element for a cartoon on an Internet, can I ask around where similar heating elements are sold in your city? Some kind of parts market, maybe? Search by label. But if not, then China is also an option. 120 UAH per ten for multi - ok, I think. Our stove was cheaper than a multicooker; anyway, we considered such prices for teng to be normal. Better than throwing away the entire appliance.
Lozja
Olyalya82, this service market called me back. We clarified which heating element - upper or lower, asked why I dragged the Philips firm there. I told them that this is the same slow cooker, they replied that they would see how much it would cost, most likely to Phillips, and how long to wait. They will call you back.

They called back, I measured them both the diameter and said the power. They replied that they do not have such heating elements. This means that China remains.
Olyalya82
Chinese teng cost 140 UAH. Works.

Good day! I do not know if I am writing to that branch. I bought a Dex-50 about 2.5 years ago. A year later, an acquaintance was seduced by this device and also bought it. But he already received 2 steam cookers in the kit: both on legs and a hinged one. I wanted to know if it is possible to buy a mounted double boiler somewhere? For me, the one with legs is meaningless, because there is no way to cook a duet.

Ask Polina Superkow, here she exhibited mounted steamers: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=162308.0
Irina-m50
Good day! I have such a situation: I steamed fish (defrosted pollock fillet). After 20 minutes, it turned out that the water from the saucepan had flowed out through the top while boiling. (I'm sorry, left unattended). Water, apparently, got into the hull. The screen is very foggy. Now I'm afraid to turn on the multicooker, although the screen has already cleared. But somehow the moisture must be removed. This damn pollock has spattered the lid and the filter, only this can be washed without any problems, but for what is under the body, I am somehow afraid. I have a DEX-50. They bought it (my children gave it to me for my birthday) via the Internet. I don't know about service centers in the city. How can you solve the problem yourself and how serious is it?
Lozja
Irina, unfortunately, this happens with fish, they have already written about this several times here. And the point is not in the pollock itself, but most likely in how it is processed for storage. This chemistry foams a lot.
Do not worry, wherever you can get it - wipe it, under the multicooker it is imperative, if something has leaked inside the case, then it should leak out from the bottom, there are holes for this. If your lid was closed during this universal flood, then, in theory, nothing should have got into the case, there is also a silicone gasket in the lid, it seals the saucepan. Therefore, I think, it only ran through the valve. Well, in such cases, as a rule, in the 60s the screen fogs up, which then dries up and everything works fine.
Do not be afraid, rinse everything well with lemon to remove the smell, let dry and turn on. Everything will be fine. Good luck!
Irina-m50
Thank you calmed down. I relieved it straight from my heart, for the sake of fidelity I won't touch her for a couple of days, I washed it like it was good. Stands with the lid open, dries.
lansus
Good day, dear members of the forum. Can you please tell me, I bought the 60th model for my wife as a gift, but I have not yet presented how the heating disc should be attached - is it rigidly fixed in the case or, as it were, spring-loaded and not rigidly fixed? The sensor is, of course, spring-loaded, and the disc itself confuses me. Who has this disc worth, because one of these days it will not be possible to get into the store to look at another cartoon, but I want to present a working device.
azaza
The disc wobbles slightly, this is its normal device. So give a multicooker with a clear conscience. Good gift
lansus
Thanks azaza for the answer.
Today I walked past the store, went to see if there were any multicooker. Dex was definitely not there and did not expect to see him. Watched Phillips and Polaris. In them, the disk does not sit rigidly, but tends to tilt relative to the imaginary axis through it (something like that).
Thanks again, my question is settled.
Now we will multi-cook

came with a question and for advice to Temka). Tell me, no one had this: the lid of the multicooker (60) suddenly began to close-open badly. Now, after cooking, I barely opened it. and now it closes without a pan, with a pan - it does not want to, the latch itself locks. Maybe it's somehow easy and simple to solve, but I don't know (I would like to hope so)

I have had this several times already. I could not open it, the latch seemed to be stuck. But after the 5th or even 10th press, it still opened. And this does not happen every time. I don’t know why
Olyalya82
My latch is overwritten and does not close. The lid was recently opened in Fig. There is no way to make it out, but it is rubbing against dirt (such a spring-loaded pin goes up and down). It was necessary to use it more carefully initially.Well, I have been using it for almost three years, I think it will last as much.
