Is this the fan seen from the side? Somehow, at the end of program 1, I saw how it rotated. You can hear him.
Thanks for the help. Finally, I waited until the convection started working.

Surprisingly, many of my friends have such a stove, everyone bought after me, and there was always one stirrer. Very interesting - maybe it's a new package?
If that - I think it's plastic for the "Dough" program.

Eugenia , and the shape is the same for these mixers? If different, then maybe for rye bread, like Panasonic's.
Nikusha
For the third time I use my stove and there is a knocking sound where the mixer is. What is it?
Or could it be so?
Thank you!
Zdenek
Perhaps the oven was overloaded by the amount of flour, water, etc. Your
the model is designed for a maximum weight of ready-made bread 1 kg-600 gr
flour, respectively. I had this, I miscalculated a couple of times, but
nothing bad happened...
Nikusha
I only bake for 500 gr. loaves.
The service said to change. here is luck, and it bakes so well
Nikusha
Tell me, does a metallic sound like a bucket not sit very well does not appear when the shaft is spinning ?. That kind of knock, or what?
I still have a replacement stove, so I'm thinking about changing it or not. It bakes well, but this knock is very embarrassing.
Please answer while there is an opportunity to change
Thank you!
Qween
Nikusha, extraneous sounds and knocks during mixing should not be if the bucket is installed correctly, that is, "until it clicks."

I am stating a fact - two of my friends Kenwood 350 broke.
In one of these stoves there was some kind of loud kneading from the very beginning.
GAlexV
If the bucket jumps during mixing, it means that the mount is poorly installed (two U-shaped plates on the left and right). You can open them a little and then it keeps well.
Nikusha
I have the impression that it knocks under the bottom.
I called today to replace, it turned out that it was such a hassle, sorry. I don't know if I will change. But I understand that what knocks can break. Maybe her husband insists that they change. I successfully threw this question on him, he fumbles, let him sort things out.
We have everything through z ... tsu. So angry
GAlexV
In any case, the issue must be resolved exclusively through the service center.
vovcik
If I bake a small loaf, then it rotates in both directions, and a large one - in one.
Qween
Something with my stove.
Today I put the dough for kneading, everything was as usual until the moment when I pressed "Start". And the movement is ZERO, and the indication is off (red light near the button). I tried other programs - the result did not change.
The dough was kneaded by the combine.

Periodically I tried to start the stove, and, suddenly, after pressing the button, the indication came on, and the kneading began. I made a few more attempts - sometimes HP starts up.

What do you think - this is a very sad situation, and did someone have this?
What are the predictions?
Nikusha
I have already waited until 14 days have passed.
It is better if you carry it to the service under warranty. True, there are such people that they always strive to move out, you can scream. Helps.
I've taken mine, so the warranty was not correctly written out, we are waiting for a new warranty card on Monday. And again for repair.
Ugh, I'm not glad that Kenwood bought it.
Qween
Nikusha , I immediately thought about the service. The stove was bought very far away, in another city. I will look for a coupon - I hope it is filled out correctly.

A friend of mine went to the store behind Kenwood 350 and came with a completely different stove. She said that the seller spoke up - there are many complaints.

These are the pies.
Yana
I apologize for "NOT VERY IN THE TOPIC". I beg you, the instruction manual for this unit (Kenwood BM350), pliz: :) I rummaged in the internet, many are looking, maybe someone can post it directly on the site.Thank you very much!!!
Umenok
And the movement is ZERO, and the indication is off (red light near the button). I tried other programs - the result did not change.

For the last 2-3 weeks my "start" does not always start immediately, I have to press this button hard several times, the stove is operated for 8 months 2-3 times a week.
Until I thought about repairs, I really don't want to get in touch with the repairmen, I hope for the Russian "maybe it will carry" and it won't get worse
Qween
Umka , I, for now, also hope. But, today it is absolutely clear that Kenwood stoves NOT reliable, indeed - a lot of breakdowns. It turned out that all my friends have some problems with them. And I advised them to buy. Now it's a shame.

I am disappointed.

qween, you have nothing to be ashamed of, you are not their manufacturer, but then when you advised everything was fine and you were satisfied. Initially, I was not happy with the noise during kneading, but the stove bakes perfectly so I resigned myself, but the fact that with the button ... it's a shame.
If it does not work out with a guarantee, maybe there is a craftsman at home: disassemble and clean the contacts or something like that (in the kitchen, after all, there is a temperature drop, steam, flour ...). I will do just that with mine in a critical case, I think it will not get worse.
Do not despair, there are no hopeless situations, maybe someone will tell you something smarter
Nikusha
The service said that these stoves quickly cover some basic boards, where the firmware is. Only change the board. It costs the same as the stove itself. Therefore, if under warranty, it is better to change for free. For example, I will use the guarantee in full. Let them now change as much as there is a guarantee.
Qween
Umka Thanks for your support.

You, directly, read my thoughts. I also thought about the temperature difference, steam, flour and a craftsman. Although, where else does the stove work, if not in the kitchen, and the manufacturer was obliged to provide for this.
Qween
I wrote a few words, and the Internet went out.
I continue: When my second acquaintances broke such HP, I personally called the service to ask what HP most often break. They told me very confidently that everyone breaks the same way.

Nikusha, I am sad from your words.
Nikusha
I don't know how other stoves break, I'm only talking about kenwood.
And in the service, of course, they will tell you so, then you will come and say, so you said that these stoves do not break, but I have a puncture. Everything breaks down, only my friends are using other firms and are happy, but here I am, new, damn it.
In general, I am disappointed, and this is my personal opinion.
But I will use it, where to go now, the bread is too tasty
In general, where ours did not disappear, let it be my breakdown of the century.
Qween
I sit, leafing through the new Kenwood catalog.
Now for HP Kenwood (except for VM-450,210,150) you can buy a round bucket, like for cakes. Bucket markings are indicated.

A round bucket is good! , does your stove work? or is it intermittent?
Qween
Umka, as if it works (t-t-t).
But, I noticed the following:
Sometimes, during the proofing of the dough, in any mode, more heating is turned on than usual. The inside of the stove is very hot and the bucket is very hot, not warm. The dough is taken even with a thin crust.
And sometimes, as usual, everything is barely warm.

What about you? Or is it my stove indulging?

If anyone else from the VM-350 owners responds to this topic, thank you in advance.

And then, soon the buckets will be brought, maybe it's better not to take it for yourself.
fugaska
my porridge in the microwave also does not always cook for the same amount of time.and the reason is just the voltage in the network! maybe when the tension is weaker, and the heating is not so warm?
Jeannet
I also want a round bucket, but where can I buy it? I live in Kiev.
Umenok
Qween
Umka, as if it works (t-t-t).

And mine also "seems to work (t-t-t)".

"Sometimes, during the proofing of the dough, in any mode, more heat is turned on than usual. It is very hot inside the oven, and the bucket is very hot, not warm. The dough is even taken with a thin crust."

Or is it really tension? Did you notice anything from other devices or bulbs? At my house, they began to turn off the electricity and in this regard, voltage surges occur up and down such that the refrigerator thinks to turn on or not, I even take it out of the outlet at these moments.
Qween
Interesting opinion about tension. I don't even know what to say, because the stove heats weakly all the time, and about once in ten very strongly, keep your hand hot straight. And sometimes it happens several times in a row.

Girls, dear ones, do not consider it a work, try - how much the bucket heats up.

Jeannet, I know where you can buy a round bucket in Kiev, and I'll let you know.
Our seli is sold in the store.
Umenok
Qween, in principle, the ten is not heated regularly, that is, depending on the program for the required temperature, it then cools down and heats up again; during heating and raising the dough it is just warm, and the highest temperature is during baking. At these moments, you can no longer hold your hand and the ten is reddened to red. The bucket can only be removed with kitchen mittens. If the kitchen is quiet, then during baking you can clearly hear how the ten turns on and then “dies down”, cools down by itself, but gives off the tempera to the environment, that is, the bucket, cooled down slightly and turns on again.
And if the stove does not work well because of the stress, then most likely the moments when the stove needs to be turned on and the voltage dropped coincide. It may be unlikely, but if the voltage drops frequently, then this may be the cause of the malfunction.

just warm during heating and raising the dough
Umka , all is clear, thank you .

Jeannet, buckets are about to be on sale in Kiev, in household appliances stores. Before Easter they swear that these buckets will be like matches.
Jeannet
Thank you! I honestly didn’t even know where to watch the buckets! And now I will ask everywhere.
Qween
And the main thing I forgot to tell - the marking of the buckets.
On VM-350 - AW5 1000001,
On VM-250/256 - AW5 1001001.

Jeannet , good luck in your search!
Jeannet
Well, for the bucket model, in general, a low bow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it possible to disable the beeping buzzer on Kenwood BM350? I often put bread on at night. To not bother.
fugaska
well, except that plug the speaker with a rag
* Viktoria *
Once my dough mixer jammed, my husband made it himself. I use it almost every day sometimes and several times a day, I can no longer imagine how without it. Unfortunately, everything breaks down, it's as lucky as anyone.
Qween, Thanks for the info about the round buckets.

Dear forum visitors.
I read the whole topic and want to share my experience.
I have had a Panasonic SD-255 for two years now. I bake bread regularly.
It turns out good without any problems (fell asleep and forgot).
They treated me to bread from Delongy. From Panasonic it is much tastier.
And always good. Maybe it baked badly there? I do not know.
In September 2008, my sister bought herself a Kenwood BM350 bread maker.
At that moment there were no Panasonic and Kenwood was advised to her.
I had to test because I already had baking experience.
The first time it turned out good bread in an accelerated mode.
The advantage of Kenwood over Panasonic is that with accelerated baking
bread is made in 1 hour, and in Panasonic - in 2 hours.
Otherwise, I had continuous problems with Kenwood.
1. Works very noisy. Panasonic is a quiet man in comparison.
2. Mixes turn out badly. Not all flour interferes with the dough.
Panasonic better chases the ball on the bucket (specially opened
cover and looked, although not recommended).
At the narrowest point at Panasonic, the gap between the blade and the wall
the bucket is smaller than Kenwood's. Kenwood's shoulder blade is curved,
and for Panasonic it is straight. I wanted to install Panasonic in Kenwood
but the landing dimensions of the axle did not fit (the Kenwood axle is slightly thicker).
3. Kenwood is very afraid of drafts. He has a fan for
mixing air inside the stove and in the inner case of the slots
much more than that of Panasonic. To Panasonic the drafts "to the bulb"
it perfectly keeps the air temperature inside.
4. For some reason, the crust always falls off in my Kenwood in full modes
no matter what recipes I used. Tried Kenwood
and proven Panasonic. Absolutely identical components
and the result looks and tastes completely different. Sister in mourning.
Money down the drain. And at a price Kenwood is half the price of Panasonic.

Maybe my hands are crooked. As I understand it: Kenwood requires eye and eye
during the preparation process and constant adjustments during mixing.
This is probably why they made a window for him. And Panasonic is for amateurs.
He measured it correctly, fell asleep and forgot about it for 4 hours.

I use my oven regularly and the bread is amazing. Unfortunately, there is no way to compare what is obtained in a Panasonic bread maker, but I doubt that there can be such significant differences. Yes, you need to monitor the batch, but I don't see a problem in this. If you make one recipe, you can gradually achieve a perfectly beautiful bread. At first I did not get rye, now I have no problems with it either. I take recipes from the forum, put them in the order that my model of the bread machine recommends, control of the batch and delicious bread is provided. By the way, I made quick bread once for all the time, everyone at home, including me, absolutely did not like it. Everyone has different tastes.
fugaska
Well, of course it's not worth attacking, the person just shared his experience. But regarding the control over the kolobok, I can say this: if you measure it according to a proven recipe, exactly in grams, then no control is required, I personally checked it repeatedly (and I think most have the same story). we just love to experiment. and lately I've been throwing everything that I see in the refrigerator into the stove. I mean the leftovers of baby kefir, milk, cream, fermented baked milk, whey ... and I just can't get the amount exactly according to the recipe, all the time more, and all the time for a different amount and in the last one, just by eye rolled oatmeal. so in Panasonic, if you throw everything in a row like that, then you definitely need to check the bun

I am very glad for you that we have found a "common language" with the bread maker.
For some reason it didn't work for me. I took the recipes from the instructions to Kenwood and laid them as written. But he did not receive the required quality. (Panasonic probably spoiled me). I tried to vary with the amount of liquid. I also took recipes from Panasonic, but laid them as recommended by Kenwood's instructions. The quality of the bread was not good. I am not saying that the bread should not be eaten or that it is not tasty, even if the top does not come out. I just wanted to achieve the quality of Panasonic, but, unfortunately, I failed. And from the baked bread, not a single bun was missing. We ate everything with pleasure.

If you offended someone with your first message, please do not kick me much. As far as I understand, the topic is about the operation of the hardware of the Kenwood bread machine. I tried to be as objective as possible.
NataliaK
And I like my stove! And the bread is very good! And I even put an unverified recipe for Wheat with sour cream from Admin overnight, I thought it would happen, but such beauty turned out! And higher and slimmer and the roof is super! How many exclamation marks from emotions.
And I have something to compare with, for a year I baked in the Mulinex oven. I loved her very much, and she paid me the same in the form of delicious bread. And I can say one thing that all the stoves are good, each in its own way. What to compare, you need to throw in the ingredients, turn on the desired program, relax, and after a set time enjoy the aroma and taste of your wonderful HOME BREAD! Nata.
Umenok
Dear bearer.
Regarding Kenwood, I can only agree on the noise: yes it does work loudly, BUT the pastries are excellent. Having read that Panasonic bakes bread with a different structure, I asked the owners of Panas and they treated me to pastries. Tried bread from LG and Alaska. I didn't notice the difference.

In the same K-350, everything worked out for me the first time, no impurities, no remnants of flour in the corners, a ruddy top with a hat. Already many acquaintances "got infected from me" and bought miracle stoves of different models and everyone is happy.

I understand that you conducted a comparative analysis of the two models and, in your opinion, is not in favor of Kenuvud, but your sister has a K-350 and I think you should not walk in mourning, but try to love your stove, if, of course, she WANTS to receive a home bread. We have an abundance of recipes on the forum and a lot of tips for beginners, there would be a desire to learn. And they will always help with advice.
As soon as she finds her recipe, then just like you will be able to "throw, forget" and enjoy baking.
Everything will work out! Good luck!
bearer
Dear Umka!
Thank you for your kind wishes.
Before, I was only a forum reader. Paying attention to the fact that not only my bread comes out with flour on its side, that is, it is not completely kneaded without additional intervention with a spatula, I decided to find out the reason. This has never happened in Panasonic. Comparative analysis showed that Kenwood has a short spatula for this basket. In the narrow place of the basket between the tip of the scapula and the body, my finger comes in (such a gap), and for Panasonic the gap is only three millimeters and, more or less, it is maintained from the protrusion in the wall of the basket to the middle of the narrow part. Therefore, Panasonic "drives" a kolobok of any consistency, and for some reason Kenwood (especially in the initial stage of mixing) hardly removes the stuck kolobok from one corner. As a result, part of the time calculated for kneading is spent on the fact that the spatula only strokes the bun until it grows. But it seems to me that the quality of the batch depends on this.
If I am wrong, let the respected experts correct me. I never took offense at criticism.

And yet, I was not going to do PR for Panasonic, but, unfortunately, I have nothing to compare with. And if my conclusions are confirmed, I would like to wish the developers to devote a little of their time to this problem and take into account the wishes expressed on the forums in the subsequent modernization of the bread machine. Everyone will benefit from this.
I agree with everyone that even on the simplest machines, with skillful use, you can achieve excellent results.

Dear Kenwood BM350 Users.
Does anyone have a seal between the cover and the body?
Should it be there?
My lid does not fit snugly against the body (there is a small gap).
Umenok
I don’t remember (the stove is at home, but I’m not) I have no seals there, just the lid is the same size as the body and fits right on the body. When I wipe with a cloth nothing of the kind, such as rubber seals, no. Why did the question arise? Are there seals in Panas?
Qween
bearer, the cover fits tightly, there is no gap. There is no seal around the entire perimeter, but there are small round-shaped silicone inserts.
bearer
Umka, yes, in Panasonic there are seals around the entire perimeter of elastic material.

I read about other models, so in the operating instructions for the HB-B100 model by Hitachi it says:
• Do not use a bread maker without a rubber seal inside the inner case.
• Do not place heavy objects on the cover. They can damage the seal.

Qween, thanks for the info.
ljubietta
Get killed! Really all of the above written about Kenwood! Do not read suspicious!
I also sometimes had the flour not stirred, but I am not very accurate in measurements. And my scales are ordinary - with an arrow and a bowl. In such cases, I just added a little water (if controlled) and sunflower oil. In general, my oil is like a panacea for all "kolobok diseases". Add it - and you get such a pretty bun. Although, probably, this is not very correct with oil, but it helps.
And about quick bread ... Probably there is no quick bread. There is also a bakery product baked on the "quick bread" program. Everything needs its time. For bread, an hour is not the time, agree?
My grandmother used to bake pancakes all the time. Real by leaps and bounds. The dough came up, she doused it with warm milk and let it come up again. Pancakes were - eat your hand. And many call pancakes pancakes. Yeast-free. Fast. For me, these are not pancakes, because I ate real ones. The same is with fast bread. For those who do not know what a real successful bread it is - and fast it seems tasty. IMHO.
About recipes for K-350. I (it was me) did not like them and I didn’t get anything tasty with them. No, everything was eaten, of course. But if I had not gone to "Breadmaker. Ru", I would still have baked according to those recipes and thought that I had spent the money for nothing. Having visited this site, I learned so much! I've done so many experiments! And I think I'll spend even more.
I wish all the K-350 bread makers health and longevity and their mistresses and owners of successful experiments!
Cheri
Good evening! After reading all the negative reviews about the Kenwood 350, I want to say that I am surprised, because even the noise from the stove does not bother me, I close the door in the kitchen and that's it, there is no problem. A popovodu flour on the sides, so the problem is that the bookmark is not correct, that's all.

Good baking to you !!!
