Category: First meal

Ingredients

Smoked pork brisket, boneless 250 g
Olive oil 1 tbsp. l.
Carrot 2 pcs.
Chile green 1 PC.
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Celery stalks 2 pcs.
Leek 1/2 pcs.
Potatoes 500 g
Meat broth 800 g
Flour 1 tbsp. l.
Canned corn 1 can
Milk 150 g
Cheddar cheese 120 g
Green onion 2 tbsp. l.
Salt
Bay leaf
Pepper

Cooking method

  • I can tell right away that we can do without chili pepper, since the child also eats soup. Don't take Bonduelle corn. You can get your chicken broth frozen for a long time - it will be just right. But try to follow the set of products and technology.
  • Soup is prepared in a cauldron with a thick bottom, such as a cast iron or deep stewpan.
  • Cut the brisket into slices and fry for 8 - 10 minutes over medium heat in a cast iron in olive oil until a crust forms. (The brisket can be substituted for smoked bacon.) Fry the skin with the brisket too, and then discard. Then remove the brisket, dry it and chop finely. In the fat remaining from the brisket, put finely chopped onions, finely chopped leeks, finely chopped chili peppers, thinly chopped celery stalks (I sometimes just rub a piece of celery root on a coarse grater instead), diced carrots and potatoes. Fry everything over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until vegetables are soft. Pour the broth into the same stewpan, and pre-dilute the flour in 0.5 glass of cold broth and pour in too. Add sweet corn and corn juice. Season with salt and pepper, add bay leaf and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to very low, cover tightly and cook for 20 minutes.
  • After that, pour milk into the soup, put the pre-cut brisket and cook over very low heat for 5 - 7 minutes. When serving hot soup in bowls, sprinkle with grated cheese and chopped green onions on top. Sprinkle green onions as desired.
  • Time consuming! But believe me, it's worth it! Here's some kind of male soup.

Note

I met the recipe for this soup at some political forum a long time ago, so I have been using it for a long time. The soup is time consuming and relatively expensive. Here he is preparing for a holiday when the whole family gathers - everyone loves him very much.

Merri
Noble soup! I don't like soups at home, so you have to look for a new recipe every time to feed them with soup!
