At the expense of the steam, I also think that it should go out, otherwise it's a disaster. Especially today I did not take my eyes off Alby. And I noticed that during the cooking process, the pressure is also gaining a little - stripes run, then again PP and time. For me, as you set the time - so it decreased.
Cooked millet porridge on "stewing", set it for 25 minutes, then this is too much. And again it stuck to the bottom. True, it didn't burn, it just stuck. But, fortunately, nothing escaped anywhere.
In the topics about other pressure cookers they write that they do frying. But we must wait until our Sorceress and Teacher come. They will explain everything !!!

Gul is here in this case, I have to ask her. And how do you turn it off if the program is not finished yet? By the "heating off" button? Do I need to turn off the mains every time? During cooking, in addition to stripes and PP, over time, sometimes some hieroglyphs appear, then disappear and again - either time or stripes.

Turning off by disconnecting from the electricity. Be sure to disconnect from the network every time. There is no start-stop button.

I have Alby the very first model.
Of course, you can do frying with the lid open, but during the cooking process you absolutely DO NOT need to open and stir. Otherwise, what is the point of buying a pressure cooker if you constantly "dance" next to it and constantly look into it. If the proportion of cereal and water is correctly calculated, then nothing will burn. Stir everything at the end of cooking. A dish such as rice or pilaf even needs to be gently mixed upon cooking so that it becomes crumbly. rather than clumping together.

For example, I cooked stuffed zucchini - so first I fried everything I needed in a saucepan. and then put the zucchini in the sauce.

Girls! Everything is correct, steam should come out periodically, so the pressure is relieved.
Of course, you can fry with the lid open - like in a regular frying pan, and fried
much faster.
Stir - at the end of "pressure cooking" (pilaf, stew, porridge, potatoes, meat, etc.), that is,
if it was necessary to fry something beforehand - they fried it, put everything else on top,
closed the lid and until ready. Then they opened and mixed.
All the time you do not need to pull the plug out of the network, finished cooking - pulled out, zeros on
display - CB is on standby like TV, microwave, etc.

Thank you for your reply. But in 25004 there is no "bake" mode, therefore, we, new users, have no idea where to look for it.
And we turn to our GURU for an explanation. Because they themselves are boom-boom.
I bought Elby mainly for cereals, and it was with milk. Today the porridge has been cooked, it has not burnt, but stuck. It was: 1v. Art. millet, 2 m. st. water and 5 m. Art. milk. I think it stuck from the long cooking. Now I will know that 15-18 minutes is enough for millet porridge.
And without the invaluable help of Gyuli and Tanya, we ourselves will go in the knowledge of Elby for about 5 years, and with the Guru we will get used to the Elbots much faster and without consequences.
And I'm sure of that.

I think this will help you navigate, although I would argue with some points in this table!

And baked goods, kAACA for me, can be tried on the "stewing" mode.
drakusja
Gyulechka, I was not so much afraid as I was waiting, I don't know what. And now I will unfold in full growth. The main thing is not to translate the products and spoil the saucepan.
Thank you for the tablet, even though I already have it. Before using, I sat on culinary and not only sites for several days. Already in the eyes rippled from the names of multi and pressure cookers, from recipes. But what YOU give in your explanations is nowhere to be found. It's time to write to you the most extensive leadership and submit to the company ... But I'm afraid that they may have a shock from our methods of using all, without exception, soon and multicooker. Is not it???

I mean the time for the whole cooking, not just the roasting. There will probably still be many questions. This is the first time I use a multi-pressure cooker, so a lot is not clear.

It's okay that there is no baking. Here in my modelka on baking, he slowly fries, and when I need to fry more intensively and faster, I turn on the "meat" mode (for example, I fry large pieces of meat with boiled pork on it, 1.5 kg each).
Therefore, you can simply choose which mode to fry or bake on "porridge" or on another. The fact is that in my model, all the same, the modes are slightly different in intensity - you can at least choose something.

It is best to watch and stir during roasting. as in a regular frying pan. and then turned it off - added all the other ingredients and set the cooking mode.
drakusja
I am convinced that our 25004s also have different temperatures in different modes. Even my example with porridge showed that the temperature on porridge is higher than on baked goods: it is burnt on porridge, but not on stewing.
And thank you for the tips.
SeredaG
if so, then on porridge you can probably cook not milk porridge, but put milk on stewing. I cook a lot of things on the beans mode (I have it stewing), but for milk I have such a mode as Konji (liquid viscous porridge) - on it the porridge turns out like baked milk, yellowish. It should not burn on your stew, in theory it cannot be the same intensive mode as "porridge" or "pilaf" or "rice"
azaza
Girls, I'm very glad that something starts to work out for you. And I apologize for unwittingly making you worry. Contrary to my beliefs that all pressure cookers are practically twins-brotherssisters, they are still different. In my Polaris, steam never comes out, if the letter R is on. Steam has accumulated, the lid is blocked (light click) - and that's it, quietly until the very end of the cycle. Only after the signal of readiness does the steam begin to bleed off, but so slowly that you can hear it only by putting your ear almost to the lid of the pressure cooker.
drakusja

Tanyusha, no worries. We, too, must learn to deal with our assistants ourselves. And not everything and everything can be identical. It's just that the release of steam in our Elbochkas is an additional protection against troubles, since I think that ours have a little more pressure.
And the advice of the Good Teacher is priceless !!!
mr.Elbee
Hello everyone! I bought Elbee 25004. There was the same problem - steam was blowing out of the valve, it was not gaining pressure. The Chinese played something with him. I twisted the nut in the lid under the valve - and lo and behold! worked as expected! Gains pressure, countdown starts, steam does not come out of the valve, as it should be. Holds the pressure for 4-5 minutes and the heating turns on again. And so on until the end of the program. Then I bleed off the steam by turning the valve in the opposite direction, then the steam comes down specifically! This is how I set up the unit by typing.
drakusja
Cooked milk rice porridge on the "potato" mode, based on the picture on the instructions., 10 minutes. The porridge turned out to be tasty and never stuck or burnt. HURRAH!!!
SeredaG
Today I climbed Kidstaff - I found new Elby even for 455 and 465 hryvnias. this is their real price. not higher. Last year, in the summer, I bought mine through Kidstaff for 460 UAH, it was also the lowest price, though they sent me from Khmelnytsky, and this, in my opinion, is Kharkov.

Damn, there would be spare pots - I would have ordered it today! I would know if they will. I asked at the office - they are silent

They are silent ...
And yesterday I spent the day searching on the Internet for a company that produces Elby, but the results were zero. I climbed both the English sites and the Austrian ones - nothing. Terribly strange, isn't it ?! And I got the impression that this is China. It is clear that everything is done there. Well, they would call it like "Hunveybinochka" or something similar. And then they rub in: England and Austria. Somehow not comme il faut !!!
And I made croutons yesterday in Elbishka. With the lid open, on the meat for a couple of minutes on each side. Very much even turned out nothing. They all went to bed (at 1 am !!!)
azaza
Fight, what kind of England is there ?! The founder of the company registered it in England, and now it is believed that this is an English gadget. In fact, EVERYTHING (with the slightest exception) is now produced in China. The only difference is whether it is a serious plant, or so, Halabuda on the outskirts of a border village.
You should not bother with the country of manufacture. If only it was correct China. But the people have been using the first Elbochka for a year and a half, and everyone is happy. There were only 2-3 cases when by the end of the year of operation some jambs got out, but this is now the norm even for such monsters as Bosch and Brown. Only they are in a slightly different price category, which means that if they produce multi / pressure cookers, the price would differ from Elbochkina's at least three times. And the guarantee is the same for a year. So don't bother, cook with pleasure!
irysska
Tan, why do you need a pressure cooker nata Why do you need 2 or Polaris has already thrown away his hooves
azaza
That Polaris himself is more alive than all the living! And you know my opinion about him. My will, I would not exchange it for anything else. Now I'm reading about Dexa and Elbochki, everything is not the same as in Polaris, everything is alarming. But the pan I posted a photo in Polaris and Dexah-40. I'm just scared to cook in it. And the spare tire cannot be found. I already bought Panasovskaya - Thank you for taking it back, otherwise I would throw out the money.
irysska
Pity
But based on the fact that there is no spare wheel for any pressure cooker yet, you need to take it cheaper - it will not be so sorry to throw it away.
And the Dex 40 hasn't hooked me up to buy it either. Scarlett seems to be more nravitstsa, but so far I don't plan to buy
azaza
So Dex doesn't impress me too much, I tend to Elbochka more. But the saucepan will be the deciding factor. IF becomes. Because at the moment there is no hope either here or there.
It's easier for you: you haven’t tried a pressure cooker yet, you don’t know what it is, so it seems to you that it’s not a very necessary gadget. And without her now my life
azaza
For the price it will turn out like Elby with mechanical control, but whether the saucepan is suitable - the grandmother said in two. I recently bought Panasovskaya, which seems to be theoretically suitable. I managed to float it back, because at least I bought it side by side. And if in Russia, but with shipment back and forth ...
And what the girl writes about is multicooker Polaris. Have pressure cookers Polaris is another saucepan.
azaza
It's just that Polaris has several models of multicooker, and two models of pressure cooker. And Elby only has pressure cookers.

Mechanically, this is model 25005.
SeredaG
exactly ... And someone in our Temka bought an Ebly with mechanics, I don't remember something ...
I'm interested in the opinion about the ceramic-coated saucepan and whether it is convenient.
Parents with electronic control do not want to give, it would be easier for them with mechanics
tanyamanya
I have such a cartoon soon ...with a type of ceramic coating, but in fact an ordinary enamel saucepan ... and where is the ceramics ???
It is normal to cook in it and everything is dietary ...
really does not bake and does not steam ...
SeredaG
Well, if it doesn't stick to the bottom. it is still not enameled, but a ceramic coating. What about sticking-sticking to the bottom of the food?
but about the steamer - in my model there is also no insert for steaming. I recently bought a silicone cake pan with a diameter of 23cm - it went into the saucepan perfectly. Pour water to the bottom and forward
Multicooker-pressure cooker Elbee Naomi 25005
Yesterday, November 20, I tested my Elby in steam cooking:

https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=186386.0

fronya40
SeredaG, idea class! now I will do this too (in another MV) - I was thinking how to steam the beets in the basket if the lid does not close, since the distance is very small for the beets, although they are not large.
azaza
Fronyushko, have you already decided, will you take Elby?
Elbo girls! Develop doubts. Is Elbochka your talkative girl, or a silent one? Does it shout about completing the task, or silently goes into heating?
TanyaManya, and you tell us about your girl - you are still the only owner of a mechanical Elbochka, and I tend to her. Dex, for example, is voiceless, with a barely audible click instead of a beep.
Girls, I beg you: tell us honestly about the saucepans. Is there any sticking? I remember at Dracusi I had problems with milk until I got used to Elba. How are things now?
fronya40
Azazka no, she decided not to take it. Calmed down. Just following the topic is very interesting, And you? I still decided to go there later (when necessary) - to buy either dex60 or phillips. Or maybe I'll read here and buy it. Last time, because of you, I canceled the Dex40 order))))) and I don’t regret it yet. I will buy when I really want to. I am looking for arguments for the purchase.
Viki
Quote: azaza

... Is Elbochka your talkative girl, or a silent girl? Does it shout about completing the task, or silently goes into heating?
The girl is talkative, but not verbose. When she got pressure, she says "peak". After executing the program, it says that it also switches to heating with one "peak". The sound is not very loud, but you can hear it well, even when there is music from the radio in the kitchen.
azaza
And I need to decide on a model by mid-December. I’ll take it for a stop, but I haven’t decided what exactly. I already looked in the direction of Mulinex - there is a stainless steel spare wheel for it. But it's too expensive, an infection. I will take one of three: Elbochka, Dex or Scarletka. Scarlet is still on the bench, although I have a very good opinion of her. I don't think you should wait for supplies for her. And there is at least a ghostly hope for Dex or Elba: there were spare wheels for the previous model, maybe they will appear for these. And Dex brings in pots for multicooker, it would be logical to sell pressure cookers as well.
But so far this is only hope, not supported by anything. And it is unlikely that specific information will appear until mid-December. In general, I will pull to the last, and then either by typing, or by lot.

Viki, thank you so much for the quick response! What model do you have - electronics or mechanics?
Viki
Quote: azaza

Viki, which model do you have - electronics or mechanics?
Electronics. I am very happy with it. In general, I am an experienced pressure cooker. Ever since Soviet times, she started with "Minutka", full-length. But you have to stand over the floor while it builds up pressure to regulate the fire under it. And here all the conveniences in one bottle Yes, and my lifestyle is just from this pressure cooker (or vice versa ...) It gained pressure and I ran away. When I return home, everything will be ready, and the pressure will drop, and she will turn on the heater herself. It is very important for me that cooking does not keep me near the pan. And having Elby and Panasonic - I will have time in a day a lot and still feed everyone deliciously.
azaza
Vic, I don’t need to be convinced of the usefulness of the unit, I’m just a convinced pressure cooker. I want to determine the maximum with the model, so that later I don’t bite my elbows. For me, having a spare wheel is a priority item in my choice.

however, I set 60 + 30, this time is enough for the meat to fall off the bone, and more it is strongly digested and becomes nothing. I even showed off at first, asked my husband "would you like some jellied meat?" and after 2 hours it was already poured into the pots, my husband went nuts, and now he's used to it.
And in the new - 20004 model, I have not cooked yet, but I suspect that the "stewing" program is just what you need to cook jellied meat, I already cooked beans (sooo old) on it - everything is ok!
